Fun place for kids. Staff were visibly cleaning frequently, food was decently priced compared to other arcade like establishments. Staff was quick when asking for assistance. Games and food for a family of four was 60 bucks or less
We had a great experience for our sons birthday party! Sunshine was our party coordinator and she had everything all set up and was so accommodating ! It was clean and the food was good. We had a great time!
I love bringing my child to Chuck E Cheese, we prefer to go to this location. Weve been to this location many times that some of the employees remember us, but we will not be coming back to this location again. It was sad that tonight had to be the worst experience that I have ever had anywhere. We are regulars there, we always buy the 45 minute play pass, which is what we bought tonight. After a few games, our game card would stop working. The first time that it had happened we brought it to the front, and the manager swiped the card, then held it to one of the games, showing us that it worked. Well... a few games later it stopped working again, so we went to the front again, had the manager fix it again... and a few games after that it had stopped working again. We showed two employees that the card did not work. We all tried pausing the card and reloading the card, nothing would work. They then brought it to the managers attention, and of course he denied that the card did not work. He accused us of not knowing how to swipe the card, but that is false because we have been there many times before, and never had similar situations or problems. After he said the card worked, he tried it on three games, gave us our card back, and left. One or two games later, it stopped working again... figures... with about 30 more minutes on it... we decided to leave. It just was not worth our time, and it was a waste of money. Again we are regulars, I dont understand why they couldnt have handled the situation more professionally.I do not know the managers name, but it was the gentlemen in a pink polo shirt.I hope that this does not happen to anyone else, it was really upsetting.
--Please Like my Review if helpful--Really nice and clean Chuck E cheese. Pizza was decent and the games were up to date and a lot of fun. They were a little under staffed which led to 4 star service. Other chuck e chesses have a free area where kids could climb and wiggle this one did not. Games were pay to play only.We will definitely come back in the future but the Northtown Chuck E Cheese is our first choice for kid fun.
Horrible place, horrible food and now they even try to sell their recycled pizza as Pasquallys pizza. If you offer from Pasquallys its coming from Chuck E. Cheese. Meaning the same building, same cooks and same pizza.
My wife and I brought my son to his friends birthday party here. Perfect place for a bunch of five-year-olds to run around. They dont have tokens like I remember from when I was a kid so now you have to buy a card that works as a Game Pass. They are refillable which is cool but remember they go quick! I wish I had just purchased the highest amount to begin with because you go through them way too fast. I dont know if I would do a birthday party here cuz its probably be insanely expensive but hanging out here at a birthday party was a ton of fun
Super disappointed. Waited 25 minutes to pay since no one wanted to come help the lone cashier despite many employees walking around the back. The cashier that eventually came to help was the most disinterested employee I have experienced at any establishment in a very long time. She also rang me up for minutes though I asked for tokens. Not that big of a deal, I thought. (I also didnt realize it until after the timer ran out so nothing I could do there.)Ordered food and got to playing which my three year old really enjoyed. After an hour went up to check on food and found out the person that rung me up put in the wrong number on the check so our food was made and since they couldnt find my number (the wrong one) we didnt get served. So they said the pizza was now in the oven and I should have it very soon.We walked away and I saw someone cleaning our table so I went up to them and said we were still waiting for our food and we hadnt abandoned the table. He asked what food we had coming so he could check on it. I told him our situation and he responded with oh yea that one. We were wondering what happened. We figured we would just wait for someone to come up and complain about not getting their food what kind of service is that?!?Very soon turned out to be an additional 30 minutes later. With a three year old that is just getting into the age group that would really enjoy this place for birthday parties with his friends I can honestly say I will not be back and will not recommend this place in any capacity.
Not worth the money. Food was mediocre, staff looked like they were suffering to even dance or produce joy. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else! First & last time we will go there.
The pizza isnt great. It is, after all, Chuck E Cheese. My 2 year old and I shared a medium pepperoni stuffed crust. The cheese in the crust is good and chewy. A bit too chewy for a 2 year old, but I liked it! The games were great for kids between the ages of about 2.5 to 7 or 8. The prizes you can get with tickets are pretty bad. Theyre Oriental Trading Company stuff and my 2 year old loved them all. ...so theres that. Bumper cars!! My 2 year old could operate the bumper cars on her own. Shes a genius. Im biased. Your mileage may vary. We had fun. The staff was great. Totally worth the $48 night out with my little girl.
My kids love it here. Lots of games for all ages. We recommend buying a few passes for unlimited games for 1 to 2 hours. Kids love running around and seeing how many tickets they can get within the time. If you buy only one pass from more than one kid you have to wait about 30 seconds between games. So, it’s hard for your kids to compete in two player games if you only have one card. Pizza is good but a bit overpriced. If you get the kids reusable soda cup it’s cheaper than a small soda and it’s unlimited refills for life. So, as long as it can hold the liquid you can keep bringing it back.
The games were weak compared to when I was a little kid, they barley give any tickets either.
First time I have been at a Chuck E Cheese since I was 6. Now, with my 6 kids and extended family for the first time, it was great. Very clean, much more open and bright than I remember as a child. We got the hour arcade pass and the kids played to their hearts delight, from my 11 year old all the way down to my 1 year old. Food prices were reasonable and we loved the options. First thing my second son said after waking up after sleeping the whole way home (over an hour) was Thats what I want to do for my birthday!
My children and my nieces live this place. I love that it is safe and that if they just want to run around because I cant keep up with all 5 of them. I know they will be alright.
First, the facility is very big. I love that about it. One of the biggest Chuckie cheeses I have ever been in. Games work on most days and the food is quality. So why the low rating? The service. The service was absolutely atrocious all 3 occasions. For instance on our last visit we walked in, stood in line and the girl at the register wasnt helping anyone, just looking at her phone. My wife had to ask was she available, for her to roll her eyes and say yea. Strike 1!Ok so my mother in law started to place our order, she asked if they had coffee. The girl tells my mother in law that she doesnt know how to make the coffee (which was a Keurig cup). I about lost it as I stared at the Keurig. On top of that she didnt even bother to look for someone who knew how to operate the Keurig. Strike 2!The ticket counter has 1 person working it for how busy they are. You will wait about 30 minutes to get juggled between 2 other groups. Strike 3!I will never return to this Chuckie cheese. Will just go to the Woodbury establishment.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Most of the games either did not work at all or were out of tickets. Do yourself a favor and go to the one in Woodbury instead.
I love this place were an adult will always be a kid lol
This is a place this is difficult for children to leave. Lots of fun!!
It was my sons 1st time going to Chuck e Cheeses. He enjoyed himself,I see the location we went to didnt have that germy ball pit.
Had my sons birthday here. It was fun. Not too many people. Decent prices. The employees were alright. Some were pretty rude but the one who was running the counter was extremely nice and helpful.
Cant beat ChuckECheese for kids to have an amazing time. We all enjoyed ourselves and the salad bar was right on. Pizza is always a favorite birthday hit.
We will never go back. My daughters 4 year old birthday celebration was kind of a mess not to mention she got kicked out of the ticket blowing thing for picking up a ticket off the ground inside it. I would love to see management of this place reach out to me and I can explain more things that happened...
Fun for kids, obviously. Also, they serve beer. Pizzas okay.
My child enjoyed her day, will be returning soon.
It was very busy but the staff handled it well. Quick service on the machines when they run out of tickets also
I’ve never been to chuck e. cheese, i don’t plan on going either
Needs A Little More Staff But, My Babies And I Had A Fun Time.!! Id Go Back And Celebrate Another Birthday Party There.!!
We love the new pay for unlimited games model, even if the ticket to prize ratio was slashed. The kids get to play all they want. HOWEVER, this place is always very understaffed. 2 or 3 staff manage the check in area, food ordering, kitchen, machine maintenance, etc. On a weekday my kids waited 30 minutes to get their prizes, and we watched frustrated people leave after the line to get in was so slow. Also, I wouldve paid $6 several times for a few beers, but the one person old enough to serve was busy putting tickets in machines for over an hour.
This place is a breeding ground for bacteria. I have yet to see any cleaning or disinfecting of any kind in my visits there. Disgusting. I actually contracted a virus on my last visit which turned from a wicked cold to bronchitis. Never again. Hygiene should be priority especially around children.
The games are fine and meet the needs of the kids. The food isnt great but met expectations. The staff however seem dead inside. Some were better than others but overall they generally seemed disinterested in what they were doing.
Could have used another staff member on duty but it was later in the evening. Several games were out of commission as well as almost every single ticket reader. Overall, cost was very reasonable and kids had a great time. Would definitely come back again.
Have been here twice already now. This location seems bigger than the one in Woodbury. Lots of choices when it comes to games for kids of almost all ages and you can buy foods like Pizza & Salad. You can host birthday parties here as well, but heads up, in the Winter they get booked fast and its super busy & crowded on the weekends in Winter.Plenty of parking across from it and its located in the strip that has Nordstrom Rack, Naf Naf Grill and Panda Express.
Daughter had fun. No complaints.
Lots of new games since the last time I was there
Great staff and we were almost the only ones there!
Staff was over worked. A lot of games didnt work.
I love that they do everything for the birthday parties!!
Super expensive. the games were broke most of the time. Cake was frozen. Prizes are garbage and the line to get the prizes was crazy long.
Great place for a birthday party. This was our first time and Kelly was a great server. The games were fun and the atmosphere was wonderful. Definitely will go again.
Horrible service. Jackie was the cashier/manager who treated us poorly the minute we walked into the Chuck E. Cheese in maple grove. Never in my life will I go back. My bf asked for a slice of orange in his beer and she huffed and puffed about it like it was a big deal that we even asked. She said we do but it’s at the salad bar. So He went to grab it and she said by the way our salad bar is $8.00 just to let you know. Being passive aggressive basically saying she is going to charge us $8 for a slice of orange!! She didn’t have to say anything and give so much attitude for nothing. He asked another question previous to that and gave attitude and responded WHAT?! To every thing we asked. We haven’t been to a Chuck E. Cheese in forever so we didn’t know how things worked so we asked. Was that too much to ask? We only went for my daughter’s school fundraiser and this is the customer service we get. I am in customer service and this was an embarrassment. This is definitely not what I remembered back when I went to Chuck E. Cheese. False advertisement for sure. Never go there!
So over priced. The food is bad pizza at premium price. The games are now very expensive. Brought 4 kids total for a party, after a game pass for each kid and food, we were out over $100. Not worth the price of admission. There are better options for a kids party.
It was great
We had reserved a 2-hr time slot for my daughters birthday party. Had a great hostess and a wonderful time there with our group!
A great deal if you have kids with the unlimited play card! I wish the pizza was a little cheaper, but the service was good!
It was fun for my sons 4th birthday, but the person who was dressing up as Chuck looked super mopey and depressed. At one point they dressed up for the hourly walk around, walked the outside perimeter of the games, and went back to change. No interaction with the probably close to 15 kids that were there. Also no one was operating the bumper cars for the kids, so that was a let down for them. The pizza was alright, and when we ordered a cake, they told us that we would have to wait a while because it was still frozen, but it still tasted alright. The game card deals are very good on Wednesday though. I would go again, but mainly for games and maybe pizza.
I appreciate the extra security attempt, though dont trust it as I have seen no-one at the door many times. The videogames are fun. The pizza ok. Salad bar is a huge plus and the serve beer. Staff is ok, I wish they were more attentive at the door.
Great place to watch young children!
We brought our daughter on a Friday afternoon so it was quiet, which was fantastic. She got to play almost any game she wanted, and the bumper cars were a fun addition. Ive always liked their pizza so it didnt disappoint.
We had our daughters 2nd birthday party this evening. And unfortunately the party hosts & service was absolutely TERRIBLE.There were many instances when we were asking for things that we included in the party & they just plain forgot. The hosts were very rude most of the time. & one of my family members heard them talking about how we were “complaining”. But I was just simply asking asking for the things that were supposed to be included & never got.I would definitely recommend training your party hosts better. It was very hard to focus on the birthday girl when I was trying o do all the leg work, when I paid a LOT of money to not have to. Overall, was not a pleasant experience....
Great for younger kids however as the kids get older 8 or so there are not many attractions available for the older kids. The quality of food could certainly do with a massive reinvention and change.
Pizza is good! Staff was over worked but friendly, wires are laying out exposed behind the bumper cars thing. My toddler found them. Some adult was nit letting the kids play with 2 high ticket games.. Staff didnt seem interested when i pointed this out..
On the smaller side as far as Chuck E Cheese is concerned. The store was clean and it was nice to see staff actively checking machines for functionality. Kids were not able to play on the bumper cars before their play time ran out, understaffed?
Fun place to take your child to play games and exhaust sometime. Good atmosphere good employees very passionate towards the young ones.
The worth customer service you can even see in your life brought my daughter for birthday and they can even do anything special or anything I ordered cake they give me different one my daughter wine ticket and the machine didn’t have tickets so we call the manager and he go and said no you guys did play that games when I ask him to check the camera instead afford give little kids in here birthday ticket like I really never see this in my life before
One of the worst experiences Ive had with a kids place, my food took almost 2 hours to make the staff at least the ones I dealt with. There were a few other parties here that also was waiting for their good for almost 3 hours, a lot of refunds were given.
The most horrible experience at the maple grove Location 2/17 I did a walk in birthday for my daughter and invite 4 people and their kids. Ordered 3 large pizza I was told I can’t order the big jugs of drinks I can only order individual cups. Ok that was find I first ordered about 8 cups and after I went back and order 4 more cups one of my guests went to ask for a cup because she didn’t know she had to pay for it and Nathan Roberts who then give his name said he was the manager rudely told her No you have to pay for it she didn’t make it a big deal so her son was drinking from his cup and she took his cups because hers got mix up with the others and she didn’t know which one was hers and he immediately told her she steal the cup my guest got upset that he told her she steal the cup and he refused to apologize to her and call the police she try explaining the situation to his co worker who then said she was a manager also but it didn’t help the manager which is a female started to be rude also. I’ve heard a lot about the employees being rude and it’s my first time experiencing it. And that would be my last time at this location since they refused to even clean the table when I ask since 3 pm the table didn’t get clean till 5pm and my guest had to wipe it down. It’s just ridiculous
Elicah did good job with having the kids dance with cec
Nice easy place for the kids to play at .
This place was awesome when I was a kid. it seems they havent added anything new since the early 90s.
Kids had a great time. They could of had a little more staff, they seemed to be having a little trouble keeping up at times. I dont think I ever saw a manager in 3 hours. The birthday went well overall.
My son he like this place, but only the place need more attention for clean
We had an amazing time for their birthday party at Chuck E cheese service was great they played a lot of games and won a lot of prizes I would give a 5 star rating but The bumper cars were broken thats the only reason we went to this location There Was One 1.2 miles away from My house.
The mouse tried to touch me
Extremely understaffed. Felt bad for the people working there. They were doing their best.
Excellent for kids birthdays. $25/kid unlimited games for 2 hours with a ton of great extras for the birthday party. We had a great time and will have the next birthday here!! The bumper cars and Dino shooting game were the kids favorites. Even the parents had fun!
It was much smaller when compared to the Edina one. Not much for little toddlers . But still both my kids (3 and 2 years) and also us had a fun time .
Needs to be more like Dave and busters but son loves it!
Wrong pizza twice.. no toilet paper.. games were broke down.
Great place for the 6 year olds birthday party and all her friends. I think we had 10 kids, pizzas to feed them and soda or something and then they each got a game card for only $200. Seems like a lot but the helper kids made all go smoothly. 2 hours we spent, see ya in 5 years :)
We decided to go to this location because of the larger space and bumper cars that my son could actually ride for his birthday party. Our regular location is in St.Cloud which we had a party there for him last year minus the Birthday package.Well unfortunately the staff over promised and under delivered. My son was only able to ride the bumper cars once and the attendant said he was too busy with fixing broken machines. Four children were able to ride the cars for three minutes in the 3-4 hours that we were there. When I asked if the cars would be operational the employee at the ticket desk said it was out of order (no note on the ride tho). Also about a 3rd of all the games were out of order. We saw the actual Chuckee Cheese come out once just for the birthday party where in St.Cloud Chuckee came out many times with hugs and tickets. The Mens bathroom was swamped with fecal water all over the floor for at least two hours after I notified the employee running the birthday parties. When I was about to leave I used the restroom again and it was still swamped, plus an employee or customer becoming violently Ill in the bathroom most likely due to the cleanliness. We complained the next day about our experiences over the phone and were told that we should of said something the night of the party and that they could not refund us any of our money. So I only write this to warn others before bringing a big group to this facility and spending money thinking the facility is fully operational to think otherwise.Have a wonderful day:)
We were there at chuck e cheese for my son’s birthday –– it was our first time there. The kids had a lot of fun, but I was disappointed because the chuck e cheese employee threw away all our things from our table. We lost the kids pictures and their game card, we wanted to keep them for memento. We had left them there so we could redeem our tickets for items and they were so busy that we had to wait in line.
We went for my sons 2nd Birthday, food was really yummy. Games all worked and were all in working order, gave more than enough tickets per play. The only thing I had a problem with is how heavy the front door was. I initially thought they were closed due to the fact on how hard it was to open. I know for next time because we will be back!
Good place for kids bday party
Hadnt been to Chucky Cheese in 25 years. Went 3 times in 3 weeks once I found this gem. They really cleaned the franchise up. Food is cheap but good and its fun to watch full grown adults maximize their ticket intake...haha. but seriously, fun place for the kiddos.
We recently celebrated my daughters birthday here. while my daughters had fun, I was a little disappointed with the service we received, our host was ok, however most everyone else seemed as though they didnt want to be working at the time. one employee name Tyrone told me that the bumper cars were shut down for 10 minutes, and than when I tried again they were closed for the night, after I seen other kids in there I asked the guy who was operating it why we were told it was closed. he laughed and asked who said that, I told him and he just laughed again. Chuck e cheese did an awesome job which is why I gave them a 3, however if I were to go again, i would choose a different location.
We had a great party. Thanks
Nice place for kids. Fun games for kids. Nice food need a better selection of gifts.
Chuck E Cheese didnt seem too messed up
This was my 4 yr old sons first experience with Chuck E. Cheese. I was excited for him to experience it because it was my first job 20 yrs ago. He loved the games, music, and of course, Chuck E. Cheese. What left a sour taste in my mouth was the lack of excitement from the staff. During the birthday show the staff were unenthusiastic and didnt even smile while they were clapping. That was my favorite part of the job! If you dont like children and making them happy, this is not the right job for you. I also had a HUGE concern over Chuck Es dance by the prize area. He finishes and then he and another staff member throw tickets at the 25 children there on the floor. This caused utter chaos! My son was pushed, yelled at, and upset that the older children got most of the tickets as they forced him out of their way. He then pushed someone else because he thought it was okay to do that...So instead of teaching my child to share, take turns, and be respectful; you showed him how to bully and be aggressive. Maybe have 3-5 tickets per child that Chuck E gives out in an ORDERLY way and greets each child. Hire employees with energy that want to be there; but most of all, teach children to do the right thing. We have enough problems in the world right now with how the new generation behaves, lets be add to it.
My kiddo loved our pepperoni pizza. Very clean location. Wasn’t busy in the middle of the week during the day.
Fun and great... The kids can go crazy in there saving you from becoming crazy
Celebration for my Granddaughtesr 5th Birthday!
Fantastic place for a birthday party!
Lighting in the place gave me a headache, only a few arcade games now, I miss the wall to wall old school arcade games
All you can play in an hour or whatever you buy instead of ponts
Got 617 tickets stolen from me by God knows who, most of the prizes are cheap plastic pieces of junk and the only good prizes cost an unbelievable amount of 1000+ tickets
Very clean and great customer service
They have a lot of game choices but alot of them were out of order or werent working. Alot of them would take your points but not let you play and just spit out a ticket. The one pizza that we ordered took over 45 mins to get done and there wasnt more then 3 or 4 other families in there but they all had their food already
One and only time we were here my wife was so sick the next few days with the flu...or what we suspect something from this place there is no way we’d be back. The pizza was awful. The other patrons were super annoying. I know your kids are having fun, but do you have to let them scream, and scream and scream. My goodness...
I love their pizza
It was pretty good. I had fun playing some arcades with my son. I wish they had more games for multiple people though. The play are for babies and smaller children was terribly small though. I thought the bumper cars would be more fun but I think it only lasted for a minute >.< lol.
Took long to clear the tables, there don’t seems to any systematic manner of doing the clearing when the single guy came around. He was clearing table and sweeping at the same time. It indicates you don’t value customers waiting time to be seated and then took a place to operate from.
This place is fun for the kids but for adults, it is one of the fabled rings of hell.
