Great park for kids of different ages. My 8 month old loves the mommy and me swing, my toddler loves the little kids area, my 12 year old loves the rock climbing walls and rope structure. Its always very clean and people are friendly.

It used to be a nice park until they erected that hideous fence to secure off the even uglier rock path leading to the dumb well. So now you cant walk the full trail without having to go into the hillside grass. Plus this fencing made them rip out some of the playground equipment.

We use it to do get together for soccer. Not bad.

Decent park although a little dirty

Pretty small park, but very tranquil and beautiful.

I like taking my grandkids to Shasta Park it is a very nice part I prefer this one better it would be nicer if it would have a bathroom

Just the park is very beautiful the restrooms were pretty clean for a park I would go there again and the truth is Id love to take my granddaughter

I grew up playing at this park and its nice to bring my son back to The Rolling Hills and beautiful trees. All the equipment has been updated of course. Looks like they put their money into climbing structures rather than slides. Not usually something I note, but there is a really cool garbage and recycling area at this park too. My favorite structure is a climbing tower that looks kind of like the Eiffel Tower.

Shasta park is a good place to take your kids and have fun there

For being an old park, its actually pretty nice. Equipment is aged from years/weather, but nothing is broken or not usable. The ground has recycled/cut up rubber, so its nice and cushiony if a child was to fall.

Nice play area not much shade

Great park. Lots of playground equipment and a huge grass area. Only drawback is there is no restroom here, so youll want to plan ahead.

Not much to see, other than the school nearby, and a small playground. Dog poops all over, gotta watch your step. Other than that, grass is reasonably maintained, not bad location. Nice to take a dog for a walk or play some frisbee in the basin.

Great atmosphere, food is prepared top notch.

Clean and fun BUT no RESTROOMS major flaw for children and grandparents.Came from out of town my grandbabies wanted to go to the park. We went and had to cut our playtime short due to the fact of no bathrooms. Very inappropriate!!!

Great park. Small hill that leads to to a valley. Trees around rhe border giving shade. Small playground for kids to play.Its a great hidden park for BBQs and Family Events

Couldnt find the bathrooms if there are any. A huge expanse of grass. Seems good for dog walking as I did see a few people walking dogs. Theres a huge fenced in area with a weird pogo like structure seeming to be torn out of the ground. (Brand name: Nexus). The swings squeak so badly they sound like elephants. Theres one of those old fashioned merry go round spinners that could probably use an oil up, for its a bit slow. Theres a cute baby/parent double swing where you can swing along with your child. In total there are four big kid swings, three baby swings,and two swings with big strap over type things. Unsure what to call those. There are four emoty spots where it looks like swings should go. A huge rope like jungle gym structure lies in the middle of the older kids section. Sturdy,but I recommend heavy supervision. I also probably neglected to mention the big kid and little kid playgrounds are seperate. In the kids playground they have these creepy bouncy horse things. Overall,its a great park and I highly recommend it. Be careful,play hard,stay safe.

Its a very chill, relaxing location

I and my Grandaughter Kilynn had so much fun on the swings and slide.My husband was impressed with the equipment for the little children.

This park has recycled cut up pieces of tire instead of bark. You bounce when you walk. There is two play sides to this park. A younger than 5 side and older than 5 side. The park has 2(what looks to be handicap) swings(bring your own straps, it looks to be missing the latch system), but a cool idea none the less. It has an(old school merry go round) turning plat form(a dizzy go round, as I call it). Plenty of swings. Animal bounce backs in the younger than 5 area. And a cool climbing activity gym for older than 5.
