The Michaels store in Mansfield is awesome! We always go there for craft supplies for some sort of project. Last month I bought supplies for local kids to make posters for the police department. I told the lady at the register what we were doing and she was so sweet and showed interest in our project. Today we went back for supplies so my daughter could make a 3D chloroplast model. Well we found a green oval shaped pumpkin that was damaged and we got it for a great deal and bought all of the accessories to decorate it. We had the same cashier and she showed interest in this project too. I am going to find out who she is so I can let her manager know that she is awesome. Aside from her, we constantly have to ask questions while shopping and the employees are all so helpful! I am a happy rewards member and can always find coupons in my text messages from Michaels or online promo codes for use in the store or online.

Great spring/summer closeout sales.

The store had buy one get 50% off on art pads and journals. They didnt ring up that way and I didnt notice till I got to the car so my husband went back in for a refund. We had bought two exact art pads but two different journals. One was more expensive than the other . They would only refund 50% of the art pads but not the journals. We expected to get 50% back of the lesser journal. The sales clerk acted like they didnt want to give us back the money and said we would only get 3.00 off the second one. The worst customer service ever We also bought 2 boxes of Queen Anne cordials when I got home and checked the receipt again I noticed those candies were 5.99 each. These sell for 1.78 each at Walmart. Worst experience ever. I wont ship this Michaels again Ill go to the store in Lincoln square.

I stopped by to check out framing for a large painting I had bought from an estate sale because it had become detached from its frame and nails were poking out of it! A store manager/framing dept manager, David, was extremely helpful & friendly in getting me to the decision point. He measured the frame & found it to be18 by 24. He showed me their pre-made selections in that size on one of their shelves. Much to my surprise, I saw a beautiful, richly-colored walnut wood-with-black-trim that I liked! After discussing some others, I said, lets do it! My painting has gorgeous Mr. ^ Mrs. Cardinal in the forefront with city bldgs & a horse carriage w/ M/M riders in it. Heartwarming...David took it to the back room to work on this project peeling off the masking tape, removing the nails, cleaning the glass on the new frame, inserting the picture, putting on the new backing & finishing with a strong silver cord going across the back with which to hang it! Beautiful, quick, knowlegeable work. David has been with Michaels for 21 years. He is skillful, artistic - as he himself is an artist! - friendly, and easy to work with. I highly recommend this location & this framer. The price was reasonable - for frame and labor it was a few cents below $65.

Felt like this was really terrible of them.

I brought in my diploma to the framing department, and all I can say is WOW! Excellent customer service, great value, and beautiful job guys! David (framing dept manager) is the man! He really takes pride in his work and he is a very honest and kind person. He wants to make sure you are happy with the final result. It is now hanging in my office and Ive received many compliments from my team asking where I had it framed! I cant say thank you enough to David and his team for doing such a great job! I will definitely continue bringing all of my future framing needs to them.

My daughter and I love going here to pick out crafts to do together over the holidays. They always have a great selection and always on sale. Definitely worth the shop and the prices, highly rated!!

I enjoy Michaels. The staff in the framing department was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to have family heirloom paintings framed. They came out beautifully! The staff in the entire store us great! They are helpful and kind.

Love craft stores but the prices... Ouch. A few good finds but then they didnt ring up. Disappointing. Had to go back. Employees were 5 tho and refunded the money.

I spent an hour looking thru the store before I was approached by an employee about a mask. It didnt seem to bother anybody until I was on my way to check out. Wont be going back there again.

My husband needed his certificate framed and the lady in the framing department was very helpful. She went out of her way to get what he wanted and even got her coworker involved. I appreciate her efforts to provide excellent customer service. We left Michaels satisfied and will go back for other projects. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name and I am sorry about that. I will next time take more of an initiative to remember because good customer service is hard to come by and her service as I mentioned earlier was excellent. I wanted to call her by name to give her recognition.

Most of the staff was decent, but they had a few very rude ones. The floor was gross, in line there was a dead cockroach on the ground which was just- disgusting. I told the staff and they didnt seem to care

A few years ago my friend got me into the Happy Planner and all the add ons. This michaels has an excellent selection of the planners and all accessories needed to keep track of my job details and color code everything.The staff is also friendly, knowledgeable, and very nice.Highly recommend!

Close to work. Easy to find things.

Used to be my go to place for arts and crafts. They have drastically reduced their inventory, the cake/candy/cookie decorating are slim at best. They no longer carry cake boxes, I found that out in a pinch trying to deliver a cake. Hands down I am super disappointed in the new Michaels. Needless to say, Ill be going to Hobby lobby & Cake Carousel for my baking needs.

Michaels is one of my favorite stores to just go and browse, you can always find something you didnt know you couldnt live without. I do not consider myself crafty so I love to buy premade home decor. They always have a great selection for all holidays at decent prices!

Good customer service

It is organized and has good prices on art supplies. They are similar to Hobby Lobby and have great Halloween and fall decorations. If you have not been there in a while, they have changed their setup. The paint is at the back of the store towards the checkout side.

The fact that things cannot be returned and no one states that to you while purchasing and there are no signs is unacceptable. My aunt can’t shop because of COVID since she susceptible so I’m running errands and now have items I’m stuck with things that she doesn’t need and can’t return them. Terrible marketing and communication. It’s really disappointing.

Great selection of crafting supplies just on the pricey side. My son bought 3 small pages of stickers for $16. I went onto amazon and bought an entire book with 20xs more stickers for $8.

Michaels is honestly my favorite craft store... they send out loads of coupons. Theyre constantly running sales in store as well. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Ive never left unsatisfied!

The store is good and they have quality products there, but they ALWAYS seem to be rearranging the place. Also, their coupons for 40% off a single item are VERY limiting now on what they can be used for, which is a nuisance, as it is hard to determine exactly WHAT you can use it on... and THAT is why I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. I used to go in and get certain items that I use ALL the time with the coupon... but now it isnt valid on those items, AT ALL, anymore. BLAH!

Solid colored packs of construction paper are the unicorns of the papercraft world. The employees at Michaels might as well be unicorn wranglers, because they took me straight to that elusive pack and got me on my way. Awesome job.

Love crafting

We were at Michaels in Mansfield for a birthday party. I know, I didnt know they hosted birthday parties? It was fun and most definitely a different idea from the norm; the children had fun making crafts. Making slime was the favored of the three crafts they made...good job to the Michaels team member!

So, Im not a crafter, but Michaels makes me want to be! I love walking around looking at all of the awesome things I could create! Their home decor is great, the price and quality matches. I bought some flameless candles here there that other places sell for 3 times the price. They carry many little odds and ends that you would have a hard time finding elsewhere. They also accept competitors coupons to!

The staff was friendly and the store was clean which is a plus! Most times these stores have boxes and items all over the place, but this one was nice. I was also shown that you can pull up Michael’s online and it will show you which aisle your item is on. This was a huge plus for me. I hate bothering employees for small things. This helped me go right to what I needed!

I have searched JoAnn Fabrics, Hobby Lobby and finally gave in to head to Michaels. I dont usually shop there, but low and behold they had the thread I needed. Not a ton of colors, but a few. Other stores only had smaller sized threads, but I found the size 3 that I needed at Michaels. Yay for Michaels!!!

I have been a long term customer of this location. I took three prints in to have them custom framed. One of the employees that was on the clock continued to talk to the frame dept employee about framing she wanted done. When the two finally finished chatting and acknowledged me, the guy working the custom framing counter was rude and indifferent. I took my prints down to Hobby Lobby in Mansfield and discovered they have a very nice custom framing dept. and are about 1/3 of the price of Michael’s.

Michaels is one of my favorite craft stores, it is like a gold mine for me. They have everything craft related here and it is amazing to see all the possibilities of art that could be done and I always find all the cool tools and necessities I need for my projects, the store itself is very clean and well stocked with a huge selection and polite/friendly staff everyone is extremely helpful. Also there is lots of parking, the store itself is full of surprises with great prices it is like a Lowes/ Home depot for artists. It is Truly an Arts n Crafts Emporium. I Know of No Other Place where You can Get Everything from Picture Frames to Pencil Erasers. Whether Youre Buying or Just Walking the Aisles you are likely to be inspired and get many ideas for DIY crafts. Almost anything you need you can find here seriously: frames, beads, baking supplies, yarn, floral etc. They also sell starter kits with everything you need to learn a new craft. The prices are great and they have frequent sales. The lines move pretty quick when they have them which is good. When you come here you will not be disappointed, this place is like Heaven on Earth for those like myself love arts and crafts. Become a member and they send you valuable coupons to help save more money.

Wonderful experience today!Greeted by a busy associate, as soon as I entered. Greeted again by a busy associate in the section I shopped. Once she finished with her customers, she was happy to help me, and quickly moved to the next patrons...all with a smile.The cashier was a pleasant young man, who held an item for me, and helped me use my coupons, effectively.I drove 40 minutes to purposely shop this store, and will do again.
