Take the path via the beach and rocks on the north side of the area if possible (clockwise), as there are mpre birds, prarie, and wildflowers that way. I crossed with a bit of a swell but its still doable. The lighthouse is only open about once a month apparently but at least they leave the stairs open! Very well maintaining and excellent view. Lots of art on the rocks!

Real fun area to explore in winter, we will be back come spring to see it all thawed out. Love what they are doing to create an area for pollinators and area specific vegetation. Also thought it was cool they had a little dog park as well. Well done and well be back!

The Burbot fishing here in the winter here is good. I’ve caught several solid ones up to 13 pounds and 22”. Also a great place for Kings spawning run early in the fall. They get big up here.

Gorgeous wildflowers and wildlife abound along the path to this stunning lighthouse. The views are spectacular in both directions, both the expanse of nature ahead, and the Manitowoc cityscape.

Very cool and interesting to be able to see this, no charge and on your own.

Absolutely adore this location. It is very peaceful, a decent sized walk and also lovely to look at. I highly recommend going to the top of the lighthouse, the view is great and also makes for great photographs! I love this place.

Ive always wanted to see lighthouses. This one is easily accessible. The town is charming.
