It makes you feel the history so liveable Like you were there. You can take a peaceful and relaxing walk for hours.

20 miles of horse trails...how can you not LOVE this place? There are a couple of places to park your horse trailer and begin the ride (Groveton Road and near NOVA). Trail maps can be obtained through an online search and are marked by yellow paint on the trees. The trails are great for horses with or without shoes. Certain trails will give a few challenges (crossing a stream or up semi-steep hills). Great trails for endurance training or leisurely stroll. HIGHLY recommend.
