Great place for an early evening walk!

Beautiful scenery- we saw 6 egrets:) Comfortable walk:)

Its a short, but wonderful trail in Rye Neck. Weve seen deer numerous times, close up too. Different bird species too. Its such a gem.

Quiet, lots of birds and deer

Very wet this time of year, but beautiful and still full of many birds. Fun, short loop (1 mile) with varied vegetation. The native trees and shrubs that Westchester Land Trust planted in look like they are doing well.

Great little spot to enjoy nature. Parking is a bit wonky because it is on a private rd but you can drive in Taylors Lane and park on the shoulder.

Lovely rare upland & lowland coastal marsh inched in between sumptuous residences and the labrynth estuarine waterflows. Hard-to-find backroad takes you farther into preserve but remember to leave no trace. This is a small fragile ecosystem... for development is perilously close. Yet it seems that if there were more stewardship, more osprey would be permanent and our American eagles could flourish too even --if their food supply were uncontaminated & plentiful. This is a special place.
