Great Disc golf course! The folks playing are usually really friendly and the course is well kept. Hole 3 is a personal favorite of mine as youre from the top of a hill, which is always fun. Get out there and enjoy the course, but remember to pack in and pack out with your trash!
Awesome course! Its 5$ but its pretty cool. Lots of woods and fun holes. Blue and red baskets with double tee boxes. Pretty dope!
Had the hiking Trail to myself. Beautiful, colorful fall leaves on the ground. Nice time of year to walk through. ( In the spring it can be some what depressing due to the rampant Garlic.) The Buckthorn remains pervasive.Sad....
One of my favorite disc golf courses and walking parks in madison. Lots of nature. Beautiful viewing spots. And a wonderful 18 hole, dual basket placement, disc golf course
Really nice course for disc golfing. Take your fam!
Nice layout. I like theres two him positions and 2 teepads for each hole, lots of ways to play this course
This is an amazing course! Two sets of pads and 2 baskets for each hole! Lots of variety
Good spot to rest and watch the squirrelsWithout being out of the city
One of the best city disc golf courses. Also has a great sledding hill.
Top notch disc golf course. Built for all ages and experience levels. Pay to play.
One of the best disc golf courses around.
Radar Hill. I have been walking this now for several weeks and utilizing the inclines and the declines for proprioceptive training. The snow makes it even more interesting. Im so glad its here and within walking distance. Its my new Wisconsin version of my Florida Primal Playground. Outdoor exercise is better than stuffing yourself inside of a box any day of the week.
Very impressed with the evolution of this disc golf course since I last played there in the early 2000s. This is a must play course!
A Fine Disc Golf Course
Been playing disc golf here since a younging. Hope to bring my future kids here if still in area. More homeless people sleeping in the park nowadays but thats alright. Hard times out here.
Great atmosphere of nature. Several hiking points and many places to relax.
Awesome place for disc golf
Its Hiestand do I need to say more....
Mid level dual basket disc golf course. On the bus line but near the highway if you wanted stop make a pit stop or road trip. Enough of a challenge for all skill levels. Glide disc golf shop is across the road. It is a pay to play course.
Love this park, great disc golf course!
I come here often for frisbee golf. Great park.Really enjoying that they put up multiple baskets per hole to adjust what kind of round you want to do.Well kept landscape. Sometimes get to see cool wildlife. Id recommend it.
Fun park in the heart of the city
Great disc golf course
Not as much fun to play as is Elver park. It is still a great time! The holes are diverse, and challenging. There are very few spots to lose a disk, as long as one tails after a bad launch. In spring, and summer, bug spray is a must. Its only bad on 2, or three of the holes. They make it worth bringing the spray with, on the full 18.
Excellent sledding hill for all ages, even preschoolers.
Paul Molitor. Hole #4. On video. Need I say more?
Disc golf park that has: Small park for children; basketball court; plenty of field space; walking trail; couple of hills to hike/climb.
Great course! Has two tee boxes at each basket. They are extra long and poured concrete. Course is 18 holes and in the woods so a good challenging course. There are 2 baskets at each of the 18 holes and many other optional holes to change baskets positions so the course changes occasionally Im sure. The baskets are also color coded and the distance for each are on the information sign by tee boxes. Good time now in the spring to find discs thrown into the rough but keep your throws tight in the fairway come summer, looks like it will be difficult to retrieve your disc. I noticed a couple practice baskets near hole 1 by the two porta johns which is good for putting practice. Was clean and mostly debris free. There is a waste basket at each hole as well as 2 benches to take a load off if needed. Will definitely be returning to this course.
If you find my red beast driver, hit me up
Best disc golf course of the city of Madison! Lots of variety and elevation change.
One of the best disc golf courses in the area
Equipment is a bit old but still not too bad of a park, kind of small.
Pretty decent course to play and has the added bonus of haveing glide disc golf shop across the street
Great pokemon go park.
Awesome
Nice park and good frisbee golf course
Nice place city officers in the area heavy
Beautiful place
Best park to disc golf, though during winter is best place to sled down hills with the kiddos
It has a shelter on the far east side, along with a playground and small parking lot. The large open space used to be used for soccer fields in the summer. During the late summer to fall the hill is sometimes used by high schools for sports training/tryouts, and in the winter often for sledding of course. During the summer I suggest bringing mosquito spray, especially if you plan to use the disc golf course.I would say many people know this park for its disc golf course. The daily pass to disc golf is $5, and annual pass is $40. It has plenty of elevation throughout the course, and is probably my favorite course in the area. Each hole has two pin locations, a sign with distance, and if you dont know your way you can probably find people playing after work hours to follow.
Great sledding hill!
Bad service
We love to sled here in the winter!
Great disc golf course!
