We were walking by Talbots studio on our way to a concert at the Barrymore theater when we spotted an awesome print of Williamson street during a snow storm. The print spoke to us because it was taken in front of the Crystal Corner bar which has been the home of great live music for many years. What a great experience it was to walk into Talbots and meet Terry. He was as excited to sell us his art as we were to buy it. We feel special to have this great print on our wall not only for how wonderful it is, but also for how special Terry made us feel when we walked into his studio. It made us feel like Madison at it’s best.

Terry is one of the best photographers/artists in Madison. We have 2 of his canvas printed digitally modified photos in our condo and a number of his other prints hanging also. We always get positive comments on them from our guests. Terry being a long time Madison resident, has a great eye for capturing the local flavor and architecture of the city. When on the East side stop in his gallery, youll be delighted with his work!

Terry Talbot did my wedding photography and did a wonderful job. He showed up early for the ceremony and stayed through most of the reception, and my husband and I love our wedding album. Our couple portraits and the portraits of my family and wedding party are really beautiful, but my favorite pictures are all the candid photos that Terry took throughout the wedding day. They do a great job of capturing all the special moments at the ceremony and reception, and preserve my memories of the day in photos. Everybody just loves my wedding album! And hes so easy and fun to work with!

Terry Talbot did a wonderful job photographing my daughters wedding. She and her husband love their wedding album. Terry was very easy to work with. My husband and I hired him to shoot the wedding. and he did a great job of photographing our family and friends both in the posed photos at the church and in the candid shots at the reception. His manner was relaxed and he never made us feel like he was hurrying us along. At the same time, he was very efficient and didnt take more time than was necessary for the family photos or the photos of our daughter and son-in-law and their wedding party. Im very pleased with Terrys photography and would recommend him to anyone looking for a great wedding photographer.

I first worked with Terry when I needed a photographer for my mothers 85th birthday party. He was recommended to me by family friends who had hired Terry for both weddings and family photographs. Terry did an excellent job photographing my mothers birthday party. The photos were very nice and my mother and the whole family loved them. I later hired Terry to do the photography for my son Johns high school graduation, and again later to take the photos at my daughters college graduation party. Terry last worked for me when he did my family reunion last year. Terry does a great quality job, and is very reasonable in his pricing. Id recommend him highly to anyone looking for someone special to do their photography for them.

Great photographer. From weddings to Studio sessions he does it all

Ive been visiting Talbot Studio and Gallery since it opened in 2010 and have purchased a number of greeting cards featuring images of local scenes, as well as buying display wall prints for my home. Terry and his staff are very cordial, and the art work is beautiful. I love the images printed on canvas; they look like paintings to me.

Terry Talbot did a wonderful job of photographing both my sons and my daughters weddings, my grandmothers 100th birthday, and my kids high school graduation photos. He was fun and very easy to work with, and his prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the work. I treasure the photos. They capture very special memories for me in photographs.

There is no where else in the city that has the quality as well as the quantity of city and local art photography. Terry has an eye for what makes Madison special and his work in high dynamic printing is unequaled.
