I live this store. They have good depth if merchandise covering all areas of art. The graphic pens area is a strong point. Friendly staff willing to answer your questions. Check out the art hanging on the walls as you go down the stairs to the store.

People here are Incredibly helpful! I brought my grandson, who is developing his artistic character, here to choose some items for his birthday present. We were welcomed and graciously assisted.I would have been lost here otherwise. It seems to be a great place for new artists and experienced artists as well.They have Excellent buttons and magnets too : )

Great store. The store itself is in the basement, but you dont notice the lack of natural light because the merchandise and art is entertaining enough. Helpful staff. Show your wiscard for a discount.

This is a go to store for anything specialty art related. They have every paint/pastel/marker you could want, plenty of different paper mediums, easels with canvas, etc. Hands down the only place in town I go when I need to stock up.

The staff was super friendly and asked if I needed help finding anything. Also had a huge variety of items for any project you could come up with! And the best part being they offer a student discount! Definitely will be returning in the future.

Local craft supply store has a great deal of stuff for projects. Glues of all types and papers from all over for paint of several types.

This place is absolutely charming! The one downside for me was that they lacked many fiber arts supplies, but for a 2D artist this place seems to have everything you could ask for.

I work downtown, and I love to come here for my art supplies. The prices are pretty good, and they have everything youll need for your projects. I would say I wish they carried erasers for mechanical pencils.

Whoever would deign to describe the employees of this awesome shop as condescending, clearly has never been truly condescended to...or perhaps, lives in a sort of gilded, vainglorious reality where their own ego is serviced with the vigor normally associated with an overprotective mother. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Id rather deal with the hassle of downtown parking JUST to talk to these folks, as opposed to some craft-hawking clerk at Hobby Lobby.

Ive gone to this store for the last few years for this and that, and theyve always had what Ive needed for a fair price - and the student discount is usually good enough to knock a few bucks off which is always nice.My only complaint is that organization is difficult to understand and can take a while to find exactly what youre looking for. The employees know where things are though and theyve always been knowledgeable, so thats not the end of the world!

I decided to stop by after work to pick up some art supplies. I wanted to do something crafty like I used to as a kid - even though Im not very knowledgeable or skilled about anything artsy. I arrived excited and left on the verge of tears. My admittedly simplistic questions (again, I know very little) were met with snide remarks and a bad attitude - as if I were a complete idiot. I cant remember the last time I felt so belittled by another person. Needless to say I didnt buy anything, and wont be back anytime soon. Maybe if youre a regular in the art world this is the place for you, but if youre a beginner with questions steer clear.

Huge selection of art supplies not found in most stores. Carving, calligraphy, acrylic spray paint, Prismacolor, Copic, screen printing... pretty much everything other than fiber arts.

I bought an art kit from there for a class, and I went back two days later to return the kit (completely untouched) with the receipt in hand because I no longer needed the kit. They refused to allow me to return the brand new kit even though it was untouched, and the manager was rude and did nothing about it. Horrible customer service, and extremely condescending employees. I would much rather pay more to buy supplies elsewhere.
