Sample collection for the COVID-19 testing was super easy. Just be seated in the car while your nasal swab is collected. It is first come first served basis. On Tuesday, it took about 3 hours for us to get the samples collected. It was well organized and smooth.

Good locale for many endless things to do. Possibilities from classes, train shows, Covid-19 tests...even Fireworks!

Second time going for COVID testing. Both times, the queues were run very well and time estimates were accurate. Alliant is also nice for activities besides getting swabbed with a giant q-tip.

COVID testing is amazingly well organized. Turn in off John Nolen drive follow the signs. Be sure to register ahead of time and have the QR code email on your phone. Tuesday at noon tends to be very busy since they dont keep Monday hours. Pick another day of the week if you can. COVID sucks but this was easy so four stars?

I went there for community testing for COVID-19. Over all very organized and well-run. Got to experience the singular sensation of having my brain tickled by a nasal swab. Would recommend for all your COVID-testing needs. Hope to never need to go again, but will gladly go here if it is required.

Here several times for COVID-19 testing... they do a GREAT job getting people through even in the busiest of times with the worst numbers in the area with the pandemic thus far.

Went to the drive-through covid-19 testing. Very efficient, with about 80 cars ahead of me, it was 30 minutes from arrival to departure. If I need to go again, I will not go at noontime...

Bratfest 2019!!!We had a great time here! Great food, drinks, and lots of entertainment. Three stages set up for bands. Carnival rides. We saw the Budweiser Clydesdales there along with the Dalmatian. Even Bucky Badger showed up to Jump Around. Great festival! Check it out if you get the chance!

Covid testing for 2: Got in line at Fri at 7:50am, was apx #35 lined up. All done within 20 min. Everyone very polite.

Get your Covid testing done here. Drive through service, easy to understand instructions to preregister while you wait in line in your car. They have the shorter swabs for your nose now, so less pain, and done in seconds. Wait 3-5 days to get results by phone.

I went to see Godsmack and Halestorm with special guests Monster Truck last night! Great show bathroom lines weren’t too bad got in and out pretty quick. The beer lines took a while to get through! It was a blast! We had cushioned seats very comfortable. Free parking also!

Tested for Covid here after returning from an 8-mo stay in Australia. The process couldnt have gone more smoothly. Staff were professional, yet friendly. Received paperwork in the car after first getting in line. By the time it was filled out, I was being swabbed. Got the results 3 business days later, as promised, via phone call. Well done, Covid Staff!

Great set up for filling boxes for Second Harvest. My back got a little sore because Im not used to walking on concrete for hours, but Im really glad that I volunteered.

They have a quick efficient COVID testing system set up there. It was busy but it only took 20 minutes.

I went there for covid-10 testing. But -- dont spend hours in line in your car! Ask the parking attendant to point you to the walk-in service. In and out in 10 minites!

The fireworks show was to short. It needed something more.

Its not that I loved it, but I appreciate that the facility in conjunction with the city and or county health has made available free and easy testing.

This might sound silly but I loved that they had herds of bathrooms. We were there for Disney on ice with our two grands and waiting in line to potty and wash hands after cotton candy was totally unnecessary because there were so many bathrooms.Seating was nice you could see well everything. It was a great experience

The World Dairy Expo is an annual event here! Awesome venue.

Enjoyed the Quilt Expo here. Lots of wonderful space for parking, lectures, classes and vendors. Great place to meet kindred spirits in the quilt world!

This is still a great large training site. The AEC building materials are holding up fairly well over the years. Even the bathrooms are clean and spacious. On-site catered lunches in 2020 were quite good.

Parking all around the building so usually dont have to walk too far. Seats are padded, a little tight for leg room. Its an older event center but still nice.

I appreciate how they creatively utilized AEC facilities to conduct Covid19 drive through testing. No long lines, quick in and out - especially with online pre-registration.

Great place for drive up farmers market

When I was there they were I was at the kid expo, and it was such big place,And they had so many things and samples like they sold girls out cookiesThey had sports, clubs, camps, dances, etc.It was a really fun experience and Im definitely going to the expo next year.

Covid testing at 10:30 am. No waiting. Pulled up, into building and was tested immediately.

This facility is older than most of the people in it! It has seen many, many celebrations, games, graduations, rodeos, etc. Its time to build a new, state-of-the-art facility, worthy of our residents and guests today and in the future. Build something awesome and lovingly implode the Coliseum.

Good bands, brats are brats, typical festival food. But the fire works Sunday night were impressive, just when you thought it would end, it just kept getting better and bigger!

I cant imagine having midwest horse fair anywhere else! I recommend if your event does not have assigned seating, getting there early or walking to the opposite side of wherever the main traffic is. A bit of a longer walk but much better seats.

Fantastic place for a large scale event. Went for the crossfit games and loved it. Madison is a very welcoming city.

Canoecopia was a very cool event. Well worth the $15 entry fee. You can look at paddle sports stuff for days.

Went to 100 black men of Madisons back to school free haircut event today. This event was awesome. 50 barbers, a DJ, and motivated volunteers.

Went for rv show. Very good job putting this event together. $7 to park and $9 admission. Refreshment stands in several locations. Excellent use of space. A lot of people attending but didnt feel crowded.

Saw Linsey Stirlings winter concert and she is so amazing! We loved it and the venue. The bathrooms were especially nice.

Went to the Field and stream expo at Alliant Energy Center and the Expo was great I just wish they would have included more information and have volunteers and Vendors remind patrons that there I multiple buildings but overall great setup and plenty of areas to host this event.

The center offered plenty of space but was easy to navigate. It also helped having the hotel options across the street (holiday Inn & Sheraton). I do wish they could fix the temperature - didnt feel much warmer than the outside, if less windy.

TL;DR: I waited in line for an hour OUTSIDE just to get into the venue after the doors had been open for 15 minutes for a show that was not even close to sold out.Seems like a good place for a basketball game, but I went to the Alliant last night to see the Chainsmokers and 5SOS. The venue sent out an email beforehand letting people know where the alternate entrances are for getting into the parking lots and avoiding main entrance traffic, which was super helpful. I arrived around 6:15 (doors opened at 6) and had no trouble parking. There was a parking attendant who seemed to be doing a decent job, given that there were streams of cars coming from three directions.Its a good thing it wasnt negative degree weather or pouring rain because I (along with probably 300 other people) waited in a line OUTSIDE the venue for an hour. The first opener, Lennon Stella, started at 7. I didnt get to the doors until 7:17. Keep in mind, this is all after the doors opened at 6. For some reason, the staff at Alliant were moving incredibly slow and didnt open up more doors to get people inside until I was about 80 feet from the door. That wait was absolutely ridiculous and made us miss the ENTIRE first act of the show. She was literally starting her last song when we got through security. I am so disappointed in my experience for that show and I hope the Chainsmokers, 5SOS, Lennon Stella, and any other performer goes to the Sylvee next time. Elvis Presley is going to need to go on a postmortem tour to get me to consider going back there for an artist.

Organized and a great venue

Seen a Chainsmokers concert here last Saturday and I dont think there would have been a bad seat in the place. We surprised our teenage girls and we all had a blast.

Big well lit and climate controlled area. Has lots of garage door bays.

It was pretty good. Lots of truck mishaps and stalling between races. Wouldve liked to see more jumps and maybe some cars getting ran over.

Went for Disney on ice, loved not having to pay for parking, makes going to the events more reasonable. Event prices are outrageous, but its a nice location

Took my kids to Madison Kids Expo and it was great! Big enough for us to walk around for 4 hours!

Just an overall great place to host big venues. Madison itself is a wonderful city to visit.

Large exhibition hall hosts lots of events for a variety of interests. I have attended a wedding expo, garden expo, health and wellness expo, and others. Upper meeting spaces can host networking breakfasts or business lunches. Also the site for outdoor events like Brat Fest.

Its a pretty big venue, solid place. Very versatile, they host everything from ice skating to monster truck rallies to demolition derbies, and the layout is great for vendors, food, restrooms, etc. Most N of the concerts over attended on Madison have been here, and as far as the place itself goes, always great.

Very nice venue! It was perfect for the CrossFit Games. Every seat has a good view of the athletes and the seats are more comfortable than many other stadiums or arenas. The facility was clean throughout the entire weekend.
