I went for several nights during a conference. I had a great experience.
Global Presence is truly a wonderful place! It is a non judgmental place. It’s not that old school, shaming and religious church you may have been to in the past. I personally suffered from chronic severe migraines for years to the point where my Doctors thought my brain was going to fry itself at some point. Nothing would help it. I was skeptical of going to church again due to negative past experiences with previous churches. I got prayer and Jesus healed me. To this day I have not had migraines and it’s been about five years. Also it was FREE! No place that claims to be “good” will charge you for their services. If you go there with an open mind seeking to hear/feel/sense (whichever way God speaks to you) he will.
Stop in, you wont regret it.
5 yrs ago I was completely unhappy with everything that was my life. I felt alone in the world (even though I had grown up in a church learning about God) my friends had gone seperate ways, my job was going nowhere and my life was not what I wanted it to be. I was bored and tired of it. I started to pray and ask God to take me out of this lifeless routine. I also had a deep desire in my heart to know More of God so I began to express my thoughts to him and said “God! I know there has to be more of you! What I know now can’t be it. Please show me where to go because I know there has to be more to you than just a God who I seek only on Sundays and give my laundry list of prayers to” so he took me on a wild adventure and moved me to Madison. There I visited many churches looking for my spiritual home. The moment I walked into Global Presence I was taken by surprise with their lively music, colorful flags, art and expressions of worship. At first it was a little different for me because I hadn’t seen so much freedom in the way people express their love to God. But the people were very friendly and kind enough to answer any questions I had. One thing was for sure- I felt God’s presence like never before in my heart and I knew I had found what I was so desperately looking for. In this place God has healed my heart, given me new hope, new life, an amazing job, and has showered me with blessings. I love stepping foot in the door and immediately being overwhelmed with God’s unconditional love for me. We all feel God in different ways and we can all hear from him in different ways. This group of people believes in activating the spiritual gifts (the Bible talks about) and will help teach you and guide you so that you too can hear from God and walk in the fullness of what he has for you. I recommend anybody who wants to experience something beautiful to visit.
My wife and I found GP about 3 years ago. I knew there was a Holy Spirit but had never known him or felt his presence. I was a skeptic! The first time I came in and felt the worship, I immediately felt the Holy Spirits presence. Several months later I was baptized and born again. The worship is always amazing, the messages inspire, motivate and empower you. There is no doubt that Rene and Steve Springer walk with God. They have taken the time to teach and explain God in a way that I now have a personal relationship with God. Something that lacked in my life for almost all of my 60+ years. Steve, Rene and all of the other staff and volunteers have a heart for God and welcome all with open arms. If you want to feel Gods presence I cant imagine a better place to hang out!P.S. Jason Farrington and all of the other worship team are simply amazing!
These people are so amazing and friendly! It was an amazing worship experience! I have been there on Sunday services great worship team, the preaching was so encouraging, they really love Jesus and really love people! They also had prayer during the week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings a good place to spend time in Gods presence. They have a great heart to reach people right in the neighborhood our kids love this place they really care!
Wow! I remember the first time I visited Global Presence I was blown away by the worship - sincere, powerful, and it invited me to encounter God like I never had before. My family has since driven 2 hours each way to attend Global Presence events and to come to the Prayer Room. 5 years ago I moved to Madison to be a part of this ministry. I saw their work in Ghana, Africa - ministering to tribal kings and to orphans - and I wanted to be a part of it. Steve and Rene Springer began to mentor me in leadership, and I saw at a whole new level their sincerity and unwavering dedication to loving God and loving people. There are so many aspects of Global Presence I LOVE:~ Expressive worship with powerful music, art and dance~ Empowering teaching founded on the Word of God~ The value of family and strong community~ Outreach - sending teams out on the streets to share Gods love in conversation, prayer, healing, and gifts to help the needy~ FUN people and great relationshipsI highly recommend Global Presence to my friends, family, and to strangers!
Love the atmosphere in this place! The Springers and the Global Presence tribe are a joy to fellowship with!
The Living GOD is worshipped here!
If I could give this church negative stars, I would. This place isnt actually a church its a place where two status seeking, fame whoring individuals decided to turn ministry into a business. The only catch is that every single church or organization they have ever started has failed miserably. Steve and Rene may be good at getting people to the door, but they dont actually care about you---unless you drink their kool-aid or can help them get to the top of whatever foolish mountain they think they are going to climb to.The worship is terrible. The sermons are incoherent and lack any sort of consistency. Nearly everyone has left, and they have literally the worst online worship course I have ever seen. They say they are starting some new era and move of God in the church on a monthly basis---its a joke. From top to bottom.Global Presence ministries/church or whatever this foolishness is claiming to be is simply a disaster. That I hope gets shut down, so it can stop fooling people. They dont care about you or your family, there is no community and worst of all they are just money hungry, fame seekers.Word of Advice: If you guys want to be famous and run a multi million dollar business---go ahead and do that. But dont pretend that youre advocates for Jesus. Because youre not, and your failures in the area of ministry show that. Find something else to do.Dont go here. It really sucks.
You want life more abundant, its here. Not for the faint of heart.
I really love this church! The Presence and Favor of God rests here, and it is such a comfort to be around.I am amazed at how many times Steve and Rene have invested whole heartedly in broken people. I know so many people who have been written off by your average church, that are accepted, believed in, favored and loved into wholeness in this place. The Springers have lived as extremely for the Lord, as they lived before knowing Jesus. I am so proud of them, and so proud to call Global Presence my home church. Great job you guys!
I went to the Fall o Fest this past weekend. This event represents the questionable methods that ministries are wont to use to get people in the door with the ultimate goal of preaching to a captive audience of kids and their parents. No mention of the Christian ethos and intent was mentioned on the promotional posters. Kids games and Fall holiday fun are the false premise used to lure you in. An end of event TV giveaway is how they keep you there and pushing God and Jesus to little kids is their intent. One of the fun stations had someone behind a one way mirror with a flashlight and the kids were told they could ask God a question! Cheap parlor tricks to convince the innocent and gullible that an imaginary man in the sky exists. Shameful tactics to indoctrinate children before they learn how to think critically. At least churches are up front about what they are selling. This place misrepresented their event and were, in some very disturbing ways, hard selling God and Jesus to kids under the auspices of holiday fun.
Awesome little church on State Street.
We love the Springers. !!!
Awesome
