Getting access to water is a bit of a walk but its worth it. There are nice walking trails and other things to do here as well. I wish it was open on more than just Friday through Sunday.

The river is so pretty, nice little hike around.

This park is hit or miss depending on what you are here for. Photographers use it for photoshoots, people visit for fishing, or a simple picnic along the river. Looking for a place to play flag football... No open spaces for it.

Well off the beaten path which I prefer especially during COVID. Beautiful nature all around. Mostly untainted by careless humans who seem hellbent on trashing anything beautiful with garbage, cigarette butts, graffiti, beer bottles and water bottles in Fresno. Almost dont want to post to add traffic to a nice area. Will say park is incredibly run down. Posts rotting, dead wood everywhere. Trees are still beautiful trails dont go far in the immediate area but easy access to other trails and the river.

Had a good time but there was a lot of trash, this place could really use some TLC. Hiking trails are not very scenic but my kids enjoyed the water which is what counts for me!

I picked up a whole bag of teas out of the water and along the bank in just one spot. Why go t nature if your going to toss your trash everywhere. Trash inclooding 2 nasty baby diapers and alot of masks and beer bottles.

Great place for a hike with swimming doggy. My husband and I bring our dog to swim here currents can get strong and there are lots of fallen trees and wild grass but overall nice area for older groups not so much kid friendly.

I really dont want to share this one! It was perfect for a family picnic and it is small, but we almost had it all to ourselves. Only shared it with the nonstop photographers and their photo shoots ;)

Sad to call this a native park. Took kids here to walk the trail and its horrible nothing to look at. Signs all graffiti and people standing around smoking everywhere. Dont bring kids its trash central.

This park is in need of some TLC, but its a gem. Its one of few areas where one can gain access to the San Joaquin River for free. There is a short loop trail with educational signs about the wildlife in the area. There is a canoe launch area too. There is trash on the far side of the bridge which is a shame, may be from homeless? The hours of operation are too limited, but give it a visit.

Its a nice place to go and fish but if you have something in your car BEWARE the scumbags will probably steal it, someone stole expensive tools from our truck, broke the key lock and got in the truck within 20 minutes, when we got back they had fled the scene

The park is ok for photos but you can tell no one takes care of this place. Not a bbq hang out type of place.
