Lyndhurst Municipal Park

This park is beautiful!! Wonder walkways, fountain, playground, splash park, hand ball, foliage, and stage. Train to NYC passes through too, the kids love seeing it speed by which they play!

Clean, well kept a bid crowded but with enough room for everyone to keep social distance, there is a lot of activities for kids to do with still plenty of room to run around

Such a great town with great local finds. The people are friendly and so relaxed. I especially enjoyed the park with seating to admire its many trees, water display, gazebo and kids play area. I even looked up house cost there hahahaha.

Summer festival from 10 to 14 july evry years

I really wish the cops in Lyndhurst would enforce the mask requirements. As people ruin it for the rest, due to their selfishness. Also, needs a bigger sign that highlights a mask is required. Its frustrating to tell my kids cant play, due to ignorance.

First time here and cant wait to go back for another concert! Took the train from the Jersey shore and walked a few blocks to this venue,! Great crowd! Families and people of all ages!

Good place to bring the little ones.The only thing is if you park your car or van and let your kids out make sure they DONT RUN UP HILL THAT IS THERE ITS IS TRAIN TRACKS AN THEY STILL IN USE

Love this park!! Water sprinkles for little ones 6 and under only. Huge playground designed in age appropriate sections. Love the fountain its so relaxing to sit by. There is a little concession stand for ice cream. Bathrooms are decent.

There is a splash park here that is $2 admission per person and you can come in and out as you please. Really nice set up park with fake grass so no need to worry about bugs. Theres also the free park with nice swings and play area. I cant get my daughter to leave here willingly

It is a wonderful park and something there for all ages. It is especially nice on nights where there is music or a movie. The perfect place for the whole community to come together.

Very nice and well maintained park. Nice playground, water fountain with night lights. Also in the summer, good concerts with bands playing.

I went to get my car parking permit card. The officer was very kind and helpful.

Very nice, green, healthy, and well kept lawns. Nice multijet water fountain to sit around and look at. Big playground for kids. Racquetball wall. Four Basketball hoops, Train station, Shop Rite, and strip malls nearby or across the street.

Good parking on the side, small enough to walk around and not get too far from the car if it might rain. Really nice to walk around. The fountain is super pretty at night. There are a lot of spots for mobile AR games (Pokemon Go and Wizards Unite).

Visiting from Hawaii and happened to walk through this park. Very nice and well kept and kids loved the playground. Felt clean and safe.

Love this park! Its adorable! During summer they do have a concession stand open. They also have bocce ball. Its an adorable playground with turf which i like rather than grass for days that have rain and then it turns into a fun for all for bugs so for this park it isnt the case. They also have a beautiful fountain with benches. Love it! And always a clean park

Great landscape nice people

It is good park with nice size play park for kids. Water park opens during summer time . It use to be free but they started charging $1 to go in, even for person watching the kids inside. So there are a lot of adult hanging around the water park fence. I go there because it is close but one time I saw people coming to the park on the train! It is right next to the train station but I was little taken back.

The annual Our Lady of Mount Carmel Feast was fantastic! Lots of fun, good music, and food! A beer garden is a great addition this year!

Park is always clean and safe. So much to do here. We love it.

Went for the Halloween festival. Great set up with face painting, petting zoo, a train ride, and carriage ride!

My grandson loves it. I take him whenever I can. He loves the fountain in the center of the park. Great playground for kids.

One of the most picturesque small parks weve been to. The fountain is everything! Feels like a scene out of a movie. I would come by if were ever in the area again.

Very nice park with events throughout the summer. Cute spray ground as well. Several sets of playground equipment to meet different age brackets. They have a beautiful fountain in the center that’s not only nice to look at, but also assists in helping to cool off.

Pros:Great fountain and park.Lots to do.Better basketball court than Pulaski.Many stores nearby.Con:No parking spaces.The fence at the basketball court is messed up.Bathroom is always locked.

Really sweet park with lots of seating, very safe, Summer concerts and a splash pad thats super nice for kids with a nominal $ fee to enter the splash pad. Small, yet kids can enjoy themselves. Handball court available

Beautiful park with plenty of seating, a wonderful water fountain with colored lights in it that changes, and a sense of peace, tranquility, and serenity. Sometimes they have party in the park with live music and the neighborhood comes out, its a blast.

Not the best movie in the park, the screen was too small, not adequate. The park is ok, I just dont like paying for splash parks, but its well taken care of

Nicely maintained park. Safe and secure play area for kids from 2-12years old. Few basket ball courts are also available. Lots of picnic benches. 2 hours free parking.. Next to Lyndhurst train station and shopping area

We moved away 2.5yrs ago and unlike the people who run the town, the older people in the community and the police department, this park is diverse, built for safety and fun, recently updated and OH MAN, ITS VERY DIFFICULT TO get a child to leave. Lots of places for parents to sit whilst keeping an eye on a rambunctious child within an enclosed environment with only one entrance and one exit. Really fun in the summer. The town is changing for the better.

Im torn. The park is lovely but the older children that come into the park after school ruin it for the younger ones. Not only do they play rough, their inappropriate language is disgusting. There is no supervision so go at your own risk

Its a nice, well-maintained park. Very quiet since it pretty much outlaws kids. No ballplaying, skateboards, rollerblades ....fun. But, if youre older and like the relative quiet, its perfect.

Just got back from the OLMC festival, missed it last few years, it was a good time,(food a little pricey) but sausage sandwich delicious as was my wifes cheesesteak sandwich. DuPrees were fantastic. Very good time

I drive by here all the time... and you can hear all the kids screaming with so much fun.

I love ShopRite, the store is so clean and well organized. The store itself is like a football field . So if you are doing a large amount of shopping wear sneakers. Each department is unique to its own. Everything is fresh meat grocery fish deli and dairy. The bakery and floral department are an added feature. Most of all the management and majority of the employees are always polite and helpful. Basically anything you could possibly want is there. Dont be afraid to ask. It is definitely one of my favorites

Dont be fooled by its size as this parks packs a punch... the fountain is the beautiful centerpiece particularly at night with the changing colorsThe playground is great - though not enough shade the spray park is gated in and maintained excellently (thats why its worth paying the $1 entry fee)And theres a stage for events.Parking is a drop annoying.

Bottom line- there are a lot of rules posted through out the park which, ok no matter how strict, one can choose to follow them or leave, but there is no excuse for charging children money at the gate for the use of the Sprinklers.Parks are meant to bring people together to enjoy nature and/or each other. When a public park charges for the privalage of allowing 3 year olds and their parents/ grandparents to enjoy a public space while excluding those who cant afford it with a thick white fence, you have a multitude of issues that really relfect the stupidity of the masterminds behind this absurd twisted form of capitalism. Capitalism is great, but to see children, parents, and grandparents outside the fence excluding them from enjoying the sprinkers or their kids/grandkids is appaling. Lyndhurst, get your act together.

This park has playground designated for 5 to 12 years old, but children under 5 yo can enjoy the swing and little playground too. This park also has water park which is open during summer. This park has beautiful fountains as a centerpiece. Stage, pergola, picnic tables, and public toilet too.

Great summer concerts... Free

Really enjoy this peaceful & beautiful place. During summertime there is music. Mount Carmel Guild feast always alot of fun. I just attended The Lyndhurst Town fest. And had a great time Music is always great there. Vendors are friendly. There is a beer garden during feasts & really great live music. Plus if you are board there is alot of places to shop & around the cornor is Inserra supermarkets Shop Rite so you can pack your picnic basket with delicious food, snacks, & beverages. Sounds like a date! Enjoy yourself.
