A great park to get moving in. We mostly walk here, but youll see plenty of people jogging, biking or roller blading. The pathways are paved and there are routes varying from a quarter mile to 2 miles, with benches every so often. Its really cool to be able to witness the reclaiming of the land. I just wish there was way finding, so that when you look at the map and decide to take a route, you can stay on that route.
Lots of well maintained paved trails. If you are looking for a more adventurous spot, go to a different branch of the metroparks. Trails are paved and there are plenty of options for which route to choose. Park is clean and generally not too busy.
Very respectful and tasteful funeral luncheon in honor of a dear friend. Delicious food and drinks served safely on the covered outdoor patio, while a trio of musicians played soothingly.
A large but simple city park. Nice trails, lots of grass and seasonal wild flowers. Ponds. Geese and other occasional birds. Some facilities at entrance but no playground. Great for jogging or dog walking
Gorgeous park right near ample shopping and restaurants.Trails are well looped to allow for easy extensions or reductions of planned hikes. The wildflowers were Gorgeous!!!
Beautiful spot in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Beachwood. I was there before and during rush hour times on a Thursday and you could hardly hear the traffic on Cedar Rd. Absolutely beautiful foliage and lots of butterflies fluttering around in the flowers. I loved the paved trails and loops. Was able to walk around for an hour with plenty of change in scenery. Good for a leisurely stroll, not a challenging hike. Mostly flat but some hills in a few areas.
Nice little walking and biking area. Pretty flat but just a nice calm area to get through and enjoy.
Surprisingly quiet. Would never know you’re 2 minutes from the mall. Great scenery. Took our dog on a long walk on the paved walkways. He had just as much fun as we did.
Very relaxing. Scenery beautiful. Trails should be marked for shorter and longer and directions given.Fun and out of society for awhile.
A nice getaway without actually getting too far away. The well maintained asphalt walkways are perfect for kid bicycling, inline skating, and strollers. Other visitors are courteous with only rare exception.Posting now during pandemic, observation of social distancing and masks are for the most part adered to.
A beautiful park! Just visited during quarantine for a walk and spent a little over two hours there. Lots of trails, ponds, and animals. Grab a coffee and go walk. Not much shade from trees, so dress appropriately! Im going to be visiting again.
Lovely oasis of natural beauty on site of former suburban golf course. Would be great to expand on this, create extensive greenways, natural corridors, etc. Also, could have better signage and map near entrance could better reflect reality.
A beautiful place to enjoy the best of nature. So many different plants, flowers & trees, plus the sounds of frogs, crickets & quiet are so relaxing! Terrific paths to get in a 2-3 mile walk without even knowing it.
BEAUTIFUL SCENERY smack in the center of the city. The flowers in bloom are amazing! Great family meeting place. Excellent walking area. Lots loops!
First time coming. Was looking for somewhere inside cuyahoga county for a change of pace. It is nice to not be on a direct straight pathway. This one has small hills, turns, curves of all kinds and is a great area. Good path to walk, run, bike, rollerblade, take the kids, have a covid safe picnic etc. Good place to visit if you arent in any hurry because could take some time to get back lol. Wooly bears are still roaming the paths, I did see two, I saw a close by deer in a neighboring yard, and have your lenses ready because blue jays are quick! Stay safe everyone!! Hope you enjoy too!
Beautiful park with paved trails throughout. This park is extremely clean and well kept. There are garbage and recycling cans all along the path. We saw many birds and other people enjoying the day fishing, dog walking, running, or just taking a stroll. There are small hills but nothing too strenuous.
A nice, paved trail amid peaceful trees and brush. Good place to run, bike, stroll, or picnic on the field before the trail. Not the place for hiking or exploring nature, but perfect spot, right next to traffic and retail, to escape noise and buildings.
Very nice clean park in a suburban setting, great for walking with a fishing area.
This is a great park to walk around in. There’s a couple of spots where the pavement ends and you have to walk through the dirt. Only really a problem after rain (gets quite muddy). There are restrooms available, but unfortunately the building facilities are often locked and all that’s available is portable toilets.
Very nice paths, native plants, varied scenery, well kept.
Nice, easy walking trails. Beautiful Fall flowers
This park is great for young adults and full grown adults alike. The park has very open and spacious trails. Great for walking and talking with friends or carving it up with your buddies on a long board!
Beautiful grounds with paved paths, some flat and some hilly This is a wonderful location to walk, run, bike or just enjoy nature.
So beautiful. The fragrance in the air was delightful. I plan on enjoying this reservation many times.
Great area to walk. As a older person its safe and an occasional place to sit if we me and hubby need to sit for a moment.
Old golf course turned leisurely walking trail. Cruise with the fam, ride bikes run or even fish (there are ponds along the way). A nice nature reprieve on the east side!
Such a nice walking area, plenty of space to walk, run or ride a bike. Free parking !
Nice place to visit with family for a walk.
Absolutely recommend this for a leisurely walk amongst pollinator gardens and new and old growth trees
Its grown in quiet nicely over the years
What a great walk/run with my dog. We saw some friends we havent seen in a while. It is cooler outside these days, but the sun was shining. Life is good.
Very Beautiful property nice people,
Its peaceful and beautiful.
Amazing you in the middle of the city
Got skunked and rained on today. Usually very good though
An absolute gem of the Metro Park. So close to homes and shopping area. Yet in a five minute walk you find yourself in a quiet area surrounded by large trees, beautiful bushes, birds, an occasional Hawk, deer, or even a coyote. Year around beauty and serenity of nature all within an earshot of Lyndhurst, Beachwood, Pepper Pike, University Heights, Mayfield Heights.
Great park for getting outdoors! Very well maintained.
Nice quiet park to walk or ride a bike
Very nice trails. Lots of people walking dogs. We saw a coyote running around so if you go and have a small dog, keep your eyes open.
Beautiful park. I came here for a baby shower. The venue is gorgeous. Food was AMAZING.
There was lots of people here on a Monday afternoon. Plenty of space to walk or run. There was even somebody ice fishing, although I dont know if they cought anything.
If you are looking to go for a long walk, this is a great place. The only negative to me is that it all looks very much the same.
Lovely scenery, wide flat paths.
Quite, spacious, convenient, and calming.
Beautiful place to visit !
Great place to go hang out with the family
Came for my birthday dinner. We came early and were one of the few tables seated. By the time we got our entrees, the restaurant was packed.
Great space for our Bridal Shower!!! Lots of natural light and beautiful surroundings. Inside was clean and met standards of a former country club. The staff was gracious and efficient. The catering was in house and remarkabley appetizing to both the eyes and the palette. Definitely a venue to use in the future!!!
This is a great place to bring your dog to walk. They have trash cans throughout park to throw poop bags away. Lots of friendly people around walking.
There is over 160 acres to explore. I really like the paths and the hills.
Good walking paths, pond fishing, dog friendly
This place was amazing. I used it for my daughters reception venue. Kate was awesome, as the banquet manager! They served over 200 guests in under an hour. They were extremely flexible and worked with us to ensure that my daughter had a night to remember! Thank you!
Great place to walk great trails
I love the back of this park. It was a private golf club. When it came time to sell because of an aging population and retail encroachment the decision was made to sell to the Nature Conservancy who then essentially gave it to the metro park system. The membership made that decision even though they had a higher offer from the city ergo wanted retail etc.The metro parks are slowly returning the courses to nature. Wonderful walking paths. Come and enjoy peace in the Middle of chaos.
Beautiful remodel of old golf course. Nice trails and wild life.
Lovely oasis.
Good place to walk in the sunshine.
This Golf course converted into a metro park was stunningly beautiful...it had 4 trails my favorite was the l mile trail because the hills and curves made it look like a race track...however they said they were doing more renovations and i was so excited!!! Unfortunately it looks horrible the grass is all over grown they blocked off the small trail...got rid of the small fishing pond its a complete mess!!! I dont even bother going up there anymore...I rather walk at the small beachwood park off shaker blvd its a nice 2 mile trail with a pond and grass cut and u still get to see birds and deer
This place was beautiful! We had a bridal shower there for a friend and everything went Great! The staff was Very helpful!
The best thing to ever happen to a golf course, this metropark at the edge of the suburbs is a wonderful place to go for a walk or bike ride. Our dog loves it!
The catered dinner we had at the venue was great.
I was having a particularly bad day. My wife suggested we go to the park. Beautiful evening, nice walk. Great place to collect yourself.
I usually go way early in the morning less people more creatures
Big fan of this place! Came in for dinner with a coworker and was promptly seated (we had a 630p reservation) at a cozy 2 person table in their small but cute dining area. Our server (June I believe) was so friendly and passionate about the food and restaurant, and helped guide us through the menu and the specials. For our starters, we had the scallops (amazing!!) and the tuna tartare special. The tuna was interesting, but the fish could have been a little more fresh tasting -- it was a bit tough. For our entrees, we had the chilean sea bass with udon noodles (sooo good) and a halibut with potatoes, corn, and a truffle cream sauce. The halibut special was very yummy and great comfort food for a cold winter evening! My only complaint was that the dish itself was a combination of mostly white or cream-colored items, all piled high, which made it hard to see what we were eating! But wait, theres dessert -- had the persimmon pudding (tasted like english sticky pudding, a little too buttery/oily for me but was really good) and this light rice pudding type thing that could quite possible be the best dessert ive ever had.
The park has a well paved path that is easy for dog walking or jogging. There are multiple branching paths which helps break up the monotony of your life
Very nice, the food and staff are lovely. The building is beautiful.
Well maintained and beautiful scenery
Beautiful grassy park.
Walking trails are peaceful
Just a nice easy walk in pretty surroundings
Very pretty
Good place for short walks.
Great fall foliage and a beautiful park in the eastern suburbs.
Here for an endorsement photo shoot - best photography team ever. Beautiful place
Went there for the STEM Expo. Lovely facilities and outdoor space.
Smaller park but excellent for a quick walk. Busy location, but charming
Great park for a stroll with your sweety. Even though there are shared paths, you should only bike there slowly.
This is a truly beautiful park and has a lot of great trails to walk around or to take a leisurely jog through
If you love nature youll love this place nestled in the center of a suburb. Great walking paths for strollers, runners, or bikers.
Beautiful wildflowers and great walking paths. Very well maintained.
I wonder if they have any plans to mark the different walking paths because there must be like 4 or 5 different paths that are intertwined and it would be real nice if they were marked.
Fun to have a natural park with walking and bicycling trails in the suburbs. Love how the park system is working to get the park more natural.
