Bender Fields - Lynden Parks

Just a small part of what this wonderful park has to offer....will take more pictures of the rest of the park in a few days and add them if possible.

Such a great park. The baseball fields are great, and all the new activities are wonderful. The pump track for bikes is super fun for kids.

Went for a walk at 3pm in our beautiful field, found 3 young boys flinging the chess set around knocking other pieces off the board, several children burying each other in the sand on the volleyball court while parents looked on. One adult jumping on the basketball court trying to take down the hoop net, while several teens raced around on this court on their bikes and skateboards. So glad to gave this, thanksI have pics of the adult trying to take down the hoop net.

Nice park to let the dogs run around. There is an off leash dog area that’s hidden in the back which we missed the first time coming here!

Great fields. Huge parking lot.

The park has new kids climbing rocks, basket ball courts, volleyball, giant chess board, and playground. A pump dirt track is going in, there is something for everyone.

I walk my dog here through the trail from lynden city park and the dog park is a perfect 15 min exercise for him to run around free with other dogs. There’s also a concession stand and new playground equipment being installed!

Nice place to do sports

I went to Bender Fields for my daughters soccer game. Its about a half-hour drive from Bellingham. The fields are well cared for and there are portable bleachers that were set up for the game.
