My new go to course in Tampa. Ive been playing out here for several years looking for a good course thats well maintained. Ive had a difficult time finding any munis with consistent fairways and greens. TPC has a great layout, well groomed fairways and greens.Only downside is the higher green fees but its the only place Ive found outside of a country club that offers quality golf. Staff was very friendly, even reminded me to ask about the bounce back rates if I came back that week. Also played with a local member who showed me around the course.Ill be back.

This is just a great track. Depending on your tee time, and if you are not a member or have some other discount, you will pay a pretty penny. However there are great adminities.Huge chipping and putting green. Free range balls, the range is for your full bag, irons, woods, etc.Lastly, the course is in perfect shape!

Beautiful course! Great conditions, the fairways and greens were immaculate. The staff was friendly and attentive. There are a number of challenging holes and we will definitely be back again.

Very disappointed in this course. For the price and reputation, the conditions were incredibly underwhelming. Greens were like putting on a sidewalk and had dead spots.Not to mention the golf carts would shut off without warning when driving in the fairway and force you to slowly reverse back to the cart path. Even though the course was bone dry the day I went out.Would not recommend to anyone.

Fun, challenging design and in great condition. Look forward to playing it again and again.

One of my favorites. Always in good shape.

First time here and had a nice time golfing. We got the groupgolfer deal ($59) and its probably fair for that price. The course layout is that of a typical Florida course. They do add some burms and mounds along the fairways, but around the greens is where they get diabolical. Most greens are well protected and some get very tiny, which was interesting. While the fairways were in fairly good shape, a lot of the greens had rough patches, not horrible, but noticable. It had rained a lot the day before, so it was golf cart path only which contributed to a 5 and a half hour round...Brutal! The drink prices seemed TPC high too. 2 beers, Gatorade and water. $17...I think overall it is a good course, but Id much rather play 3 rounds at World Woods or Lake Jovita for the same price....

I had a great time here with a few friends earlier this week. The course was well maintained and the staff was friendly. Ill definitely go again.

Had an issue on the course with a group of members. The management was fast to contact me after my round. Nice course. Fast greens. I feel it plays a little longer than the card which is not a bad thing. Carts have current GPS screens on them as well as usb ports to charge your phones. Staff was very friendly.

Played this morning, beautiful track, greens were consistent, greens were receptive, fairways were great, I would play again for sure, just a little pricey, overall great day of golf

Great day of play while social distancing! Justin in the pro shop was great and the course was in fantastic condition. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and look forward to returning.

Great staff and one of the best places to get in a round of golf.

The course was in good shape. Great practice facilities. However, the pace of play is a big problem. When making the turn, we were advised by the marshal that the tenth tee was backed up and it was going to be lengthy wait and it would be a good time to grab a drink or use the bathroom. After waiting 15 minutes before beginning the back nine, we arrived at the tenth only to wait another 15 minutes. The marshal flagged a group ahead of everyone, farther backing up the tenth tee. The suggestion given to us from the clubhouse was to join the other group that skipped ahead. Which would have made for six players on a hole. So what should have been a four hour or less round took just over five and half hours. Not exactly the solution to the pace of play problem and left a bad impression of what could have been a great day of golf.

Go play it, its great and great staff.

For $115 I was pretty disappointed. The course was non-descript and left a lot to be desired in a course of this “caliber”. The greens were incredibly slow for being a “tour” course, and the greens were only moderately firm, allowing for a lot of spin. The conditions played like $50-60 course, the rough was patchy and yellowing. The greens were spotty and had crab grass in some areas, some of the greens had heavy sand around the flag. At the end of the day if you asked me if it was fun, I would say sure. If you asked me if I’d come back or recommend it to a friend, I would not. Nothing special for a TPC course. This course screams, “you couldn’t afford Sawgrass, so here you go”.

Unforgivably slow greens. Housing track routing, unwalkable, a fair amount of water, very unremarkable, very forgettable golf course, independent of cost.Factoring cost in, its very unfortunate that this has any potential connection with any of the other TPC courses Ive played (at least 15 over the years).New ownership may improve on this, previous budget ~60% what a Bermuda grass course should be.Positives: cart, food & beverage service, pro staff and personnel were excellent.

Very disappointed, called a couple days in advance to book a tee time, ask then how the course and greens were and was told they are GREAT. Greens were awful. Getting a golf cart was harder then getting a taxi in NYC.

TPC has a very nice layout among the houses, but was not in the greatest condition likely due to heavy traffic. It had poured rain the day before we played so the greens had not been cut nor rolled so played slower than other courses in the area. In addition, it was a 5 hour round so not the most enjoyable day (I believe the group in front was flagged for slow play but no action taken). As others have written, while its not a bad course, it is expensive to play relying more on its name than on its condition.

Played with a buddy a week ago, I thought the course was in horrible shape. I am not a country club golfer but have played other tpc courses and this was not up to par, or even bogey. Myrtle beach in February is lush and green not a stray hair for $99 with a golf board!!!! Tpc Tampa was brown, bare fairways very short, bald greens rocky bunkers and really just not a great feel for $175 and in Florida !!!!!. Very disappointed, and heard rumors it isn’t a TPC course anymore. They sold the name, like I said just a rumor but if it’s true I would be very mad to be taken advantage of. This is my first ever review online and I’m very sad to say it’s a negative one. The folks at TPC Tampa were great unfortunately the course wasn’t what I was expecting for the name and the money .

Great course, well manicured, puts a premium on your approach shot into the green. The staff are polite and care about your experience there.

Ill reserve why its not a 5 star visit, lovely venue!

Great lunch spot even if you dont golf!

The food was over-priced and I found the owner really aggresive. As I had gone to the restroom and he told my child to wait outside since my child was scared to repsond he went outside. I dont suggest taking your child to this place

Played last week, I have played this course in spring, summer,fall and winter the greens are never what I consider fast .The course is a great track and always in good condition even sand traps but the greens are a disappointment

Head pro Justin Wink went out of his way to make me feel welcome and to make up for the fact that I was not notified of aeration conditions prior to my booking a tee time. He sent me an email on the morning of my round and then personally came out on the course to find me to see how my round was going and to apologize for the late notice of the course conditions. He offered to invite me back to play again at a discounted rate when the course conditions are optimal. However, I live out of town and was not sure when I would be back in the Tampa area. So, instead, he discounted my rental clubs. All of the other club/course staff were EXTREMELY nice. I was flying out directly after playing, so the staff made sure I was set up with a locker, towels, and toiletries to get cleaned up after my round. I cant say enough good things about the staff at this course.As for the course, the greens were a little bumpy and sandy still after being aerated about 2 weeks prior. However the fairways were almost completely back to normal. Course was in good condition, plenty of water stations for the hot temps. Challenging but fair course with a premium on shot placement. It was an enjoyable round on a well laid out course with an EXCEPTIONAL staff.

Living in the Tampa Bay area it is always a pleasure to go to this facility. The staff has always been very pleasant from the beginning to the end. The food is excellent having had lunch and dinner there. Whenever I have guests this is the place to go. I belong to a different club since I live an hour away but going to TPC is always worth the drive. Yesterday I met Natalie for my first of several lessons. She is remarkable and helped me immediately and I look forward to our future meetings. The course is challenging but always in excellent condition.

I understand that this is a professional golf course but really expensive you can go to other places to play golf, I just wanted to play golf man

Nice golf course

Here just to practice. Two bags of maybe 60 balls each was $40. Balls were beat up, range grass was dried out and destroyed. Some first impression, makes me wonder about the rest of the course. I’ve played other TPC’s and this was the biggest let down, and rip off, I’ve experienced.

TPC Tampa Bay, a member of the Tournament Players Club network, is home to one of the top-rated and finest championship golf courses in Florida. The excellent tree-lined and open parkland layout contains a wealth of wonderfully crafted, memorable and challenging holes. Definitely a course that will challenge your all-round game, and well worth going out of your way to play.

Played TPC Tampa Bay on 2/21 and 2/22. The course was in great shape, greens were reasonably fast and smooth. The layout was challenging but fair and the staff was terrific all around. It is a bit pricy but worth it given the above. My only critique would be pair up twosomes. We played 18 in under 4 hours on both days but had multiple twosomes behind us of which the twosome directly behind us was on our butt every hole. This should have been managed better.

Beautiful course! All of the staff was excellent, and the course was immaculate. Stunning accommodations all-around. I will be playing this again the next time I return to Tampa.

Just got done with a 5 lesson package with Scott Schulte at TPC Tampa. Great experience so far and planning to reante for another 5 lessons. Scott is very knowledgeable about the game and how to teach it. He looks for small victories from each lesson to keep me progressing and getting better. Takes videos as well and email/text them to you with commentary so you can view and remember the things you worked on. Looking forward to working with Scott and could recommend more!

Five long hours of cart path only golf to celebrate the 4th of July. The greens were recently punched, but the course was nice enough to offer coupons for discounted golf when the conditions improve. They cant do anything about the wet conditions, but it was surprising just how many poor (and slow) golfers were playing this course. The wife is a 38 handicap, but she knows how to play in 4 hours or less. Very friendly staff, and am looking forward to playing TPC when conditions are better and the pace of play is (hopefully) improved.

This course is in absolute horibble condition. As far as the greens go, you might as well be putting in the bunkers. Thats not even the worst part. They are missing fairways. Im not talking a patch or two of grass Im talking the whole hole had no grass. Anyone who is thinking of playing here save your money and time.

Absolutely terrible. Paid $100 for a course thats worse than the $10 public course by my house. Really cool layout but not well maintained. I dont know how this is a TPC course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were terrible. You couldnt pay me to come back and play this course. Tried to take my family somewhere nice to play and we were extremely disappointed. Will never be back.

I have played many TPC courses, from Boston to Las Vegas and this one was by far the most run down clubhouse I have been to. Not much to see here folks, keep moving. The course was average but the greens were TPC quality. I am a 4 handicap and did score well today because of the excellent greens. Other than that..... dont waste your money. There are to many places to play in Florida, private and public to waste your time here. By the way, not to dis them completely, the starter was a true gentleman, a professional. Sorry I cant say the same from the woman in the pro shop who we paid that day to get on. She should go to a store and try to buy a personality, it might help. Overall, I was very disappointed with this so called TPC

I played on March 11 with 8:04 AM tee time. The course was good, well manicured and the staff was friendly. However, for the price I paid, ~$185, I am not sure if the value was there. Perhaps I was paying for the name. Two things that bothered me: 1. No beverage cart. 2. Lawn mowers terrorizing us for 4 holes or so. I get it, they have to mow the fairways, but it seemed like they followed us for 3-4 holes until we outran them and they seemed bothered that they had to stop to let us hit our shots. Very nerve racking.

If you want a first class golf experience, look no further than TPC Tampa Bay. From the moment I arrived and my clubs were loaded for me, I felt as if I were the only guest there. Donnie in the Pro Shop was more than nice, as was the starter Loras. The course was magnificent and the greens were fast and true. My ego was bruised a little by the demanding nature of the course, but an excellent time was had by all in our foursome. We enjoyed a cold libation in their on site 5 star restaurant Cuatro. Keep up the great work.

If youre an avid golfer and in the Tampa Bay area this is a must course to play. If you dont then shame on you.

Another debacle by TPA T.B. !!! As previously mentioned, no course management what so ever! 40 min. LATE START towards the end of the day which transcended into chaos as other groups would skip holes and pull in front of us trying to get in their round before it became dark. Therefore, we could not finish the entire course.Thank you, TPA, for no fun what so ever ONCE AGAIN !!!

TPC Tampa Bay is awesome! The course is great. Every person that I came in contact with was terrific. I, also, recommend the restaurant, Cuatro.

Shameful lack of support for the community this morning on the first day of school. Pulled onto the road in front of TPC to make a U-turn to have the sheriff they posted there step into the road to stop me and threaten me with trespass. Ridiculous! Im pretty sure that threat had nothing to do with traffic regulation, like the owner stated in response to Mr Lord, and everything to do with TPC calling them in to keep area residents out of their near empty parking lot. Well, my family and I will oblige you TPC and wont be setting foot on your property for any purpose at any time.
