Definitely poppin’. My friend and I were passing through Lubbock and spent the night, we decided to check this place out. I was really surprised, from the music, lights, and drinks- it’s definitely the place to be. Staff is super friendly, and Shawna, the General Manager, even talked to us! Way cool experience, and wouldn’t mind having to “pass through” again.

I absolutely love Kong’s!The owner John has definitely changed this place for the better! Him and his staff are so great and I will continue to come back often!Definitely recommend this place for a night out!

I dont necessarily buy anything but I do drink water and watch everybody dance and I usually have a good time I went on Halloween and it was awesome, the energy is amazing and you dont need to drink to have fun you could just watch everybody else.

It doesnt get really going before 10 PM but the edm / techno / house blend the DJ was spinning was badass.Had people shuffling, hoop dancing, and doing light shows all night.

This place is awesome!!! Its small but worth being crowded while dancing! No charge to go in, just have to have your ID. You do have to pay for drinks of course but they are at fair prices. It is a arcade old school feel to it. It has awesome techno music that keeps you dancing no matter what!! It gets hot because of the crowd it brings in BUT whats dancing without a little sweat. You have a very random crowd that comes into Kongs but its a awesome one!!! The drinks and shots are awesome, the pricing is awesome, the music is awesome....its a great club in Lubbock!! If you like good beats and none stop dancing then Kongs is your place. :)

Great Edm atmosphere. They have arcade games and They have dollar wells on Wednesday. Best personal pitchers. Try a red raider!

Great music and light show. Some exceptional edm performers make things transcendent, at times.Did not appreciate the young blonde harridan in my face, though.Everyones taking pics and she decides that the older gentleman cannot be allowed to do so.

Very good place to dance and hangout with friends to play video games. However, the bar tenders are cunning. One time I took a soft drink for $3 and gave a tip of $1 on my check and she changed the tip to $10 which later reflected on my credit card. I dont mind loosing the money but they lost my respect. Bathrooms are a little dirty. DJ is very good and thats the reason many people flow in.

Dz my favorite dj with him you will hear the fundamentals trance, techno, and he throw some other genres in there. Very cool place. Thanks for the good times bro.

Kongs has definitely become home over the last few years. the atmosphere is positive and fun, the music is upbeat and makes everyone want to dance, and then theres the awesome arcade games! if you dont like to dance, you can play arcade classics all night. the drinks are cheap and the bartenders know what theyre doing, always friendly and giving excellent customer service. they have a regular bar and a cash only bar at the front entrance. the cash only bar serves delicious $5 frozen margaritas or daiquiris, depending on the day, and also they have $1 jell-o shots of all flavors! this place is wonderful, if you havent been, id definitely give it a shot this weekend!

Absolutely love this place, good vibes all the time, they drinks are great, the bar tenders are always awesome, the music will make you dance non stop, and the old arcade games take the icing on the cake. Its a bit on the small side but definitely the place to be on a night out.
