I was recently at Chill bar with several of my friends sitting at the outside bar during Indigenous People’s Day weekend. One of my friends was redirected by third party security to sit down while drinking. After he did so our drinks were given to us but required for each person to tilt the mini champagne bottle into the glass. My friend stood up again to do that so his drink would not spill over & the same security guard rushed over and began to yell at him. Then the same security guard yelled at another friend of mine that was trying to explain the complicated drink situation. Luckily my favorite bartender Richard immediately came over to rectify the situation & dismiss the security guard. Richard then apologized for his barbaric behavior & proceeded to take care of us. This is the first negative experience I’ve had at this bar but I do understand that security doesn’t regularly work here but I do think that security could be more trained & versed on how to approach situations that aren’t life threatening. We’re living in dangerous times now. We should be more understanding instead of being so rigid when faced with adversity. I hope that more security at Chill Bar will learn from this incident for future reference.

Awesome place to meet other business professionals in the middle of the week. Awesome drinks. This is one of my favorite bars in town and my experience is consistently amazing EVERY time!!!

Cut bar. Friends meeting up. The front bar was the best. The inside bar made me feel unwanted. The Peach Bourbon margarita was not good. Peach was all most to much.

Ive always had a good time here with friends. Its a small bar but one with heart. They make some good mixed drinks and theres usually dancing. Good friends and good stories. Got offered free jello shots once here on my birthday from a guy in leather with his dom. Good times.

The back patio is really nice and the Marilyn Monroe martini is absolutely amazing!

Packed but I love coming here. I always have so much fun. The dance floor could be a little bigger but other than that quick service cool ppl just be who u are and come prepared to have fun

Great place for a drink and the patio is nice in spring/summer. Owners are very nice and forward thinking. No cover is always a huge plus.

Chill Bar is a friendly place. I like the fact its multi-spaced. There are 3 areas you can move between. Front patio, inside bar and back patio. There is a small dance floor inside. I also like the lighting.

The outside bar is probably the bar to be at am I experience at this bar it was great the middle bar inside the building the bartender is not so friendly thats a little white dog is amazing

I used to frequent this bar but went there on Easter with myself and a group coming back from church and the bar was involved with the sisters attacking religious beliefs and the holiday. carrying around a cross and mocking anyone who has beliefs that are christian. the whole scene was creepy and just disappointing they took this stance to be anything but open to all.

I love this bar. Bartenders are super nice - drinks are decently priced. Its in a cool house - with good music videos usually playing and lots of lights. Perfect!

I come here for the karaoke on Thursday night, its a great time!

A nice and relaxing place with a nice patio where the young and old can sit, mingle, and solve the worlds problems. Did I mention that the happy hour prices are pretty good too? The staff is also nice... Want a relaxing place to go and meet nice people - this is the place.

I have always had a great experience at chill bar. The staff is very friendly, the crowd is also friendly and will talk to you . the owners have done a great job with this bar. Their drink prices are very reasonable, unlike play dance bar. Best gay bar in Louisville, highly recommended
