Absolutely abysmal following of KY’s COVID-19 guidelines. No masks in sight and people crowded together.

Sons went to soccer camp and loved it. Weve hosted a birthday party here. It was a great venue. One of the coaches came and made it a great time for the kids. We brought in our own food and drinks in the upstairs balcony. Great time!

Clean, new facility that has been improving since I started coming. Full sized indoor field, 5v5 size indoor field, full size turf field and a smaller going in as well. They have recently finished 3 sand volleyball courts with amphitheater seating right next to their new sports bar. Staff is friendly, referees are actually required to have certifications, and they value and enforce good, clean competitive fun. Best indoor soccer facility in the city.

Great vibe, great food and a one of a kind outdoor setting. This all makes for a special experience whether youre dining listening to great music or playing volleyball and the best beach setting in Louisville. I highly recommend the blind squirrel and King Louies Sports Complex to anyone looking a great night out.

I dropped in one night to hear a friend mines band play and was very pleasantly surprised! Great set up! I stayed mainly in the band area where there was plenty of seating. I saw volley ball courts. It poured down rain so all outside functions stopped. I will definitely be going back to see it all functional and to try something off the food menu!

Mi
Review №16

I really like what Matt Rumpke has put together in the blind squirrel. Id like to see some refinement of the food menu, but the live music and dancing is great, beer selection is very good. He is trying to do things right.

As the name indicates this place has most everything sports. Indoor lacrosse, soccer and training; outdoor turf field lined for the same sports and football; sand volleyball courts; a sports bar overlooking the volleyball area. The construction quality of everything is impressive. Very nice place to play.

Fricking incredible. What a fantastic place! Everything is built top-notch and Louisville needed a great sports bar volleyball complex, not to mention an indoor soccer lacrosse field. Theyre now adding a dome over all the sand courts. Wow

Signed our daughter up for indoor soccer. Really nice field and organized well. Seems a bit pricey, but I dont really have anything to compare it to.

Jo
Review №24

Plenty of potential, but falls short today. New outdoor turf field was nice. The 60 parking spots for a 6 team jamboree was ridiculous. The fire marshal would have had a field day writing citations as parents parked anywhere they could.Lots of construction at the moment, so means more activities with poor parking.

St
Review №25

Great set up. Needs some court maintenance to level the playing area. Facility still under construction but future looks bright!

St
Review №26

Had a great time ...just wish there was a little more info for things in the facility

Ka
Review №27

Has potential, but really wish our girls lacrosse league was not through this facility. So many late games, cancellations, and of course parking. Can never reschedule anything because of everything else they got going on. They always run behind so its ridiculous when the last game of the night has to be cut short. How is that fair? Can we cut the refs pay short as well? And if its such a nice facility why have we had to use a coach to do the timer? Again potential, but they need to get it together.

Food was great for a sports bar especially. The only down side was the accustics, it was extremely loud both inside & outside on the patio. The live music had not started yet when we were there. Cant imagin how loud it would be with the music. There is also smoking on the patio so if that is a problem dont get seated there. If they can get the noise level down it will be a five star rating.

Could have hostess away from band playing music, couldnt hear what hostess was saying it was so loud. They said it would be 1 1/2 hour wait to be seated inside or outside. So we left and went to doubledogs and got seated right away. Parking is bad, I couldnt imagine when some games are on how bad it would be.

So, parking. If youve been here then you feel my pain, anytime near game time. Infuriating to say the least and MAN do you have a long way to go to fix this King Louie!! Oh and just dont even get me started on the $5 a pop to step foot in for the games. Major hit to family that love to see my son play Lax and SUPER irritating as a parent. $3...much more realistic IMO!

Mi
Review №46

For everyone writing and posting reviews about the Blind Squirrel restaurant on the King Louies Sports Complex site, the restaurant and the sports complex are NOT the same business. The restaurant is owned and operated by a different group. We pride ourselves on delivering a quality customer experience and care about what people think. These negative reviews about an unrelated business are irresponsible. Get your facts straight!!

The indoor heated beach volleyball courts are a joke. They do have heat, but not enough to actually heat the place! Playing beach volleyball in sand socks and winter clothes is not my idea of fun (or what we paid for). Would give zero stars, if it were possible. Hurry up sixpack volleyball!

My golf group booked a tee time at the golf facility knowing it was going to rain. We all showed up and the person in charge of the golf simulators texted me and accused me of not showing up the evening before and how I wasted his time Then texted back, they were closed for the day. This place is a joke.
