First time shopper and there was someone close to the entrance who asked if I needed help right away. Led me to what I was looking for and was very informative. Gave some time to think and came to check on me later. Everything I wanted was there. Beautiful and fun store.

I went there with lots of questions looking for paint pouring and resin supplies. The kind staff did their best to answer my questions thoroughly. They pointed me in the direction of the perfect items, and to boot, they were reasonably priced. I will most certainly be back!

Hands down the finest art supply store in Louisville. The staff here know what they are selling unlike the chain stores. Better pricing and quality overall. Bonus points for creating a safe environment during this pandemic.

This store is handicap accessible for the 1st floor--larger canvases and boards are in the basement, however that is no problem. All of the employees are super nice, approachable, and knowledgable. There are no art snobs here!The store has a great variety of products and often run sales. They have quite a bit of merchandise for kids, also. There are a few art stores in town, but this one is my favorite because of the variety of products (& they will special order for you), the sales, and most of all, those awesome employees .

OMG!!!!!! I never knew they were there!Its better than all the best art parts of Michaels and Hobby Lobby, without all the silly floral arrangement, toys, furniture and knickknacks. Just lots of excellent quality paints art supplies. They were doing a tie dye class when we were there, with the good Procion MX dyes.

Very helpful staff! I came in with an idea for a project and no idea how to do it or what I needed. As soon as I entered, the cashier asked if he could help with anything, which is great for me because I have a hard time approaching people. I told him what I wanted to do and he quickly consulted with the other workers. One of the ladies figured out a way to do my project and spent the next 15mn walking me around the store, showing me the supplies I needed and explaining how to use them to create my project. She also showed me cost effective options. I came in expecting to be pointed to an aisle or told they didnt have what I needed so I was very happy they went the extra mile for me!!

Nice professional art supply store. Parking from the main street is a pain, better to park in the back. Canvases are in the basement via some colorful wood creaky stairs, so best to hold onto the railing. Staff was attentive and familiar with their products, so definitely a plus there. Prices aint cheap, but professional art supplies never are.

Love this place. Great & helpful staff who seem knowledgeable but also let you browse. Chill atmosphere. Minimalish setup makes it really easy to see/focus on the products themselves. Great selection/variety of whatever you need, and the prices are great especially on the higher end stuff. Ive gotten my last 2 or 3 sketchbooks there and Im v happy with them

Great little hole-in-the-wall locally owned crafts supply. It looks tiny, but like some sort bizarre dimensional tear, it is huge inside. You can find nearly everything you need here. The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful.

This was my first visit here. So, I used the GPS to find it and drove right past the front parking lot. There was parking along the side of the building though and it was probably better than the front parking. From the front, it looks like a small store, but was I ever surprised! They have much more space than you would think. This place is packed with every supply you can imagine for a creative genius, professional artist / crafter or just the avid Pinterest follower. Not only that, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and a joy to deal with! I would definitely recommend this shop!

This is a bit of a hole in the wall from the outside. Set back from the street and a little hard to see. But inside it is huge. You can find just about anything here to do with art. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and the prices are pretty decent too. They seem to have a lot of sales.

Painters paradise!!! They have every Golden product, and every Golden color. Their prices are much lower than other stores in Louisville. Very friendly staff!!! They have a ton of every art supply you can imagine!

This is one of the best art stores around, in my opinion. So many different paints to choose from. The variety of chalk paints is amazing! Perfect spot for me to pick the perfect paints and brushes for the Bob ross date nights my husband and I have. I adore the little gift area too. I found so many unique gifts there! Only place to go if you want to have a choice on art paper. as a lithographer I really enjoy Stonehenge paper and they not only have it, but they have it in colors that I had never seen before. Blue Stonehenge is beautiful. staff is incredibly knowledgeable and will make you aware of all your options depending on your project. I went here looking for supplies to screen print a t-shirt having never done it before, thanks to the staff I was able to get all the stuff I needed and even a little quick advice on home screen printing. shirt turned out great!

A rreeaall art store, a lot of actually supplies that will help any artist. Not like generic Michaels craft or joann fabrics. They have some really good deals. Its also beautiful inside!! They painted it beautifully. Lol

What a fantastic place this is! I couldnt stop staring at all the cool stuff they had in the store. I was like a kid in a candy store. Im a novice when it comes to watercoloring, but Oscar was super helpful in walking me through their selection of supplies for beginners. Super friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. I walked out with high quality products at an affordable price range for my budget.

Visited the area a few weeks ago, and this was my favorite place! The staff here are excellent, knowledgeable people, there is an abundance of types of artistic/crafting/hobby supplies, and the products are high quality, but not overpriced. Lovely!
