My kids and I really liked the Chinese garden, couldnt see the rose garden at its best today but we are definitively going back in spring.

Best kept secret...One of the few wonderful community spaces left in the City....great rentable space for events.Sight of the Annual Bangladeshi Parade of Dignitaries...Politicians... Celebrities...and Community Leaders...through the streets of Little Bangladesh.Sergio, the Overseer is simply put a wonderful human being. Helpful and kind. Rolls his sleeves up!And...did I mention...the home cooked marvelous food? There is a full kitchen and service area.Other than being an excellent space to rent from the City for an event, theres S-P-O-R-T-S to be played here! Open...free real park space...tennis courts with night lights...

I like this park and bring my niece and nephew whenever I come visit, but lately theres a ton of vagrants camping close by and makes it feel unsanitary and unsafe.I saw someone washing a shirt by the water fountain, some changing clothes by the kids jungle gym. The mens bathroom was unclean and had a puddle because the hand faucet releases too much water. Dirty toilet.and the kids playground looks like its been dug up or something of the sort.This place needs TLC because its the only park close to 3rd street.

This little Park packs quite a punch as far as extra curricular activities available for the surrounding community. There is exercise equipment, a baseball field, a handball court, as well as bathroom facilities and an Indoor court for various games.

It was great except for all of the tents around the apartment and up and down the streets. You cant even walk on the sidewalks.

I didnt like this place because of the enforcement of the tennis rules. Theres always a group of Korean tennis players who save courts for each other and impose on other peoples games by sweeping the courts while they are playing, moving players bags, and talking loudly to ensure maximum discomfort. They are predatory on ensuring they get the courts and keep them. This is unfair and keeps certain people from getting their fair share on the courts. McKenzie definitely deescalated the situation, but the situation remained the same.

Not well maintained, but as a heart of LA I love this place.

I was playing basketball there and the whole court was really well lit.

I grew up here and it was lovely, but I never was allowed to go upstairs due to the fact that there was too many bees. I enjoyed my time there with my friends.- I wouldnt say it was the safest but good enough.

Besides MS13 & 18st beefing for the park, its a chill park.

My kid spend the spring break there. It was terrible. He asked me to don’t go more and he was crying. The kids were bullying him because he was the youngest. The parents didn’t receive the schedule about the activities. the staff wasn’t friendly. The playground is opened and homeless have access. then I was very worried about my kid. and you need to know that... if your kid doesn’t like the program refund your money... terrible ... zero star...

Is a big place so there is difeten tools for exercise.

I grew up in this area, I played basketball here when i was a kid. Now i am watching my younger brother do the same. The space is large, a playground in the back, exercise equipment, baseball field, nice shady trees, and near places to get food. Alongside the outdoor and indoor basketball courts, the place feels grassroots: you always find people in there playing and having fun. This place is not just a building, but a community.

Took tennis lesson, the price is cheaper than around, the teachers are great, very convenient place, ... loved it.

Good place to hangout with friends. Nice bowling alleys. Also with billiards. Nice to drink some alcohols. Friendly.

Took my 18th mo old to their small toddler friendly playground located directly behind the rec center.She had a lot of fun. Playground is a tad worn so be careful attending little ones.The swings for the the younger kids are only secured with a lap belt/chain.We will go again soon.Heavy drug and street persons activity near by and at the park. Children should be supervised at all times.

When I first came to this park it was beautiful. Now its surrounded by homeless and syringes

Been here for years its quite busy nowadays but you have to choose your sked to enjoy your stay to keep fit while doing your breathing exercise...you will be inspired when many are taking care of their fitness and welness

Public tennis courts with lights for nighttime play.

I went to the bowling arena. Played pool with my friends. $20/hr. They have good collection of drinks. From beer to cocktails. Also, food is good too. Only downside is little bit crowdy. Specially on Friday night. And parking is a little tricky. If you are planning to go there on Friday night, get as soon as possible. Otherwise hard to find parking.

Homeless come to use restroom. But play area is ok for the kids.

I grew up at this park I like it here. A lot has changed but over all a good place. Same people from when I was a child are still working here so thats a plus.

Shatto has a baseball field, a playground, a workout area, 2 tennis courts, a full basketball court and an indoor gym. Parking is small but plenty on the streets. A bowling alley and plenty to eat are close by. Safe environment and lots of space to jog or run.

Small-ish park, but they have a lot of field and courts for different sports. They also have a work out area. The basketball court further from the street had a slanted rim though.

I love the staff there they are nice and polite

Grass is messy and homeless people in the front just laying down. Good basketball court and even has a volleyball court, but you have to bring your own net.
