The park needs a lot of improvement. It has a mountain of dirt just seating there! The sidewalk and the have curved has trash allover!! The trees need to be trimmed!! The whole park park needs improvement!!

I usually go with friends and my little children to this park we like it a lot

I like it with the Skate area and the kids play area with slide BUT Unfortunately they are Adults Homelessness on the park play area and some smoking drugs

Its fine but if you want to go and play basketball bring friends its not that packed

I love it I got to see ducks the pond was amazing there is a lot of shade under all the trees I went with my mom and we had a picnic it was beautiful

Its a good field but its slippery and hard to run faster when you stop because it feels like you gonna slip and sometimes players slip when there kicking the ball

Enclosed soccer field that lets you know who is there. Very clean, and staff was very helpful.

I dont hear all the time to relax after work as long as you see a lot of people there so I enjoy being around a lot of people kids having fun with you playing basketball soccer skateboarding is just a lot of things to observe and kind of take my mind off today at work

Nice place to bring your kids to play. The dollar hot dogs the lady sales are delicious. Cant go wrong.

The soccer field is in good condition. However, the rest of the park is in need of a renovation. Its your average ghetto park.

Great for the kids but the same could use a good cleaning atmosphere and people in the surrounding can be sketchy. Found multiple cigarette buds in sand and the homeless are starting to take over a section of the parking lot

Was great,but there is a problem there when the lady cleans the restrooms, dirty water from the restroom runs all over the basketball court that happens everyday..children go there and play .

Nice little playground, the swings are always occupied though. Usually come here to have a snack. Theres also a free campsite by the basketball courts, it smells a little funky but quiet enough to spend the night.

This park is not safe. my step dad took my daughter for a walk, stopped by the park only to run inside with my daughter because people decide to start shooting. this park has gone down hill since i left L.A. too many people smoking and drinking. plus vendors out on the side walk make the park look dirty. especially the lady selling hotdogs. feeding n petting the cats while she makes the hot dogs she never washes her hands just gross.

SAD TOO SAY THERES NO HANDICAP PARKING ITS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR A WHILE NOW, LIGHT BULBS NEED TO GET FIX REALLY DARK AND IM TALKING ALL AROUND THE PARK FROM 42ND TO SAN PEDRO TO 41ST TO AVALON.. THEY NEED TOO PUT UP SOME KIND OF NET BEHIND THE GOALIE ON THE BIG FIELD TOO MANY BALLS GOING OVER AND PEOPLE GETTING HIT WITH SOCCER BALL ESPECIALLY IF YOUR IN THE EXERCISE AREA..THIS PARK IS A LAND MARK ITS THE ORIGINAL LOS ANGELES ANGELS BASEBALL STADIUMBUT AGAIN THERES NOTHING THAT TELLS THE COMMUNITY THE HISTORY OF IT ANOTHER THING WHY? DOESNT THIS PARK HAVE A BASKETBALL GYM LIKE EVERYONE ELSE... ALSO, PARK DIRECTOR NEEDS TOO GET MORE INVOLVED AND PUSH BASEBALL/SOFTBALL/FLAG FOOTBALL/ETC....

I go here every day. But only if it was open to the public. The owners are always trying to keep people out like do you want kids to be proactive in sports or smoking weed and using drug!

I just played my semi finals there! Its great!.

I love this park.. I grew up in this neighborhood, 41st PL and Avalon. Back in the 70s trought the early 2000s, it was hell, you couldnt go to the park and play because all of a sudden there would be gang related shootings. I am proud to say that it is now peaceful and there isnt as many incidents as there used to be.... I will always keep coming back to this neighborhood that saw me grew up.

Field is alright, hate that its so hard and slippery. Cant even play right.

The area, clean, spacious, and active. Large green Field and trees that gives way to winds.

Park itself has a lot to offer. However, there seems to be a lot of activity, so one should always just take extra precaution measures. I also didnt notice if there was an onsite sherrif or security, which many parks today serm to offer.

Small field but fun is everything

SOCCER FUTBALL times

This is a big public park where it has parking spaces and it has a few different free fields that you can play out on . They have 4 soccer fields, 4 basket ball courts, they have a skate park and they have a playground that is like 200 feet square yard and they also have the park together so you can go back and forth and back to any of the parks
