Comfortable seating. Saw Dope Queens there. Great show. Love the cafe, very comfy boho vibe with great statement artwork on walls. Bathroom setup shares with the adjacent cafe and a restaurant, plus its a gender neutral one, so makes for a long line. Interesting theater experience.

Considering how much money the Hudson Theatres have made in theatre rentals, one would think the company would spend some money to have additional restrooms and more comfortable seating and better access for the disabled as well as improved accommodations for the actors.I have seen numerous plays and musicals for the past 27 years at the Hudson and it never ceases to amaze me how cheap the company is and no law suits have occurred here. The front door was locked during intermission which is a fire hazard. Two bathrooms shared amongst actors and audience members...totally disgusted!!!

Neat little theater on Hollywoods theater row. Nice cafe next door with sandwiches, salads, and deserts. Beer and wine are also for sale. Valet parking for shows, but there is ample street parking nearby.

It was small, but in a cozy way. They have a cafe between theaters. Seats are comfortable.

An intimate theater for those that have a real appreciation for the art. If youre blessed, youll catch grassroots actors and directors.....before they hit the big time, and enjoy entertainment by those that are passionate about what they do! Plus, most productions are very reasonably priced($25-$30).

Small intimate theater. Check out the current production, The Bench, a homeless love story. Friendly staff. Parking on street and an adjacent lot for $7.

Its a nice collection of small theaters. I think theres two of them. Theres a coffee shop and a restaurant in the same building. The box office is around the corner on Hudson the entrance is on Santa Monica. Parking can be a bit of a challenge. But overall its worth the trip, Ive seen a couple of great shows there.

Small theatre on the upper floor of the cafe with comfortable seats and plenty of stage viewing. The cafe serves good drinks, and has really great decour (although not a TON of seating). No food/drink allowed in the theatre.

The theatre itself is smallish. It holds about 100 people. It has good acoustics. The show we saw, My Big Gay Italian Wedding. The lines were delivered stilted. The rmotion ranges were non existent. The man who played the priest was horrible. Character developement needed work. The guy playing the Polish Mother was off stage long enough to put makeup on a didnt. He could have used high heels and a better dress as a Mother of the Groom.

My friends and I are big fans of these two local magicians, David and Leeman. I found out about this theatre because they performed a free show on the Comedy Central Stage here. I found out about it the day before and my friend called the box office and was able to reserve seats for the both of us. I am not sure how expensive the shows here normally are, but this particular one was wonderfully free... mainly because the magicians were trying out some new acts which had not yet been perfected. If you are lucky you can find street parking nearby, but my friend and I were running late so we gladly paid $5 to park in the lot across the street. The person working that lot was really nice and even opened our car doors for us. The theatre building is pretty small and has a cafe with limited seating in the front. We did not get anything from the cafe but there were several people lounging there in the comfortable looking sofa seats. The Comedy Central Stage is pretty small but I enjoyed its intimacy. Small theatres also mean that there are usually no bad seats. The audience was small and I got to chat with the guy next to me, a fellow magic fan, which was nice. While I recognised a lot of the tricks in the show, having gone to many of David and Leemans shows in the past, there were some new material that was cool to watch, even if it was not perfected. Not only was the show free, however, but they also gave everyone in the audience a free DVD of their previous show. AND they stuck around after the show to talk to audience members and autograph the DVDs and take pictures if requested.I enjoyed our evening here and am definitely interested in coming back for future shows, especially if they are free ;)
