Waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided great recommendations! I went to dinner alone so naturally I went for a burger and fries. It was perfectly cooked with lots of flavor. It is served with fries and it comes with two different sauces. For dessert I let the waiter decide and he went with the strawberry cheesecake. It was delicious and big enough to share! (Not a good angle on the picture)It is recommended to share plates and the waiter will let you know that. The parties to the left and right of me seemed to really enjoy their food. I will come back with friends and try more options on the menu.
The Edison has a wonderfully eerie, yet beautiful interior space. The lighting is done in a way that you are not aware of the source but the pools of warm light guide you from place to place. There are several artifacts left over from various times of the buildings many purposes. These can be found scattered around the space. Its a cool juxtaposition between the industrial age and the elegance of the current make-over.Find yourself a quiet corner or nook and enjoy cocktails with someone you love, neither of you will forget it.
My friends and I were visiting for a bachelorette and had such a fun night out at this club. The reps for the night were always easy to find and made the whole night go so smooth there were never any lines. We got to visit four awesome spots, met some great people, and couldnt get over how nice everyone was. A fantastic experience!
I had a great experience at The Edison. I met a group of friends and thought it was the perfect place for a small group get-together! I gave the server an idea of what types of wine I generally preferred, and she was able to make two suggestions, both of which I tried, and both of which were spot-on.
Service: Ask for the server named Mike- hes super cool and on top of everything. We werent even his table but he came over whenever he saw we had empty dishes and cleared them without us calling him, and he came back after getting a step away to ask if I needed a beverage because I had none (our actual server had just taken it to refill it). So hes observant and cares enough to give that extra service when he could have just left w the dirty dishes.Food: A little expensive but very yummy. We got a Hawaiian roll (or Honolulu- something like that) a Fireman roll and a Goblin roll, which was the best of the three. The other two were a little sweet but still yummy.
The burgers are all really delicious and juicy, with pastured beef and fresh ingredients. Ive tried the Heritage (my fave), the Sunnyside, and the French and Fries burger. They also have gluten-free and lettuce wrap options.
We had a great time on a great day hanging out at the pool, the sun is out most of the day which is awesome compared to some of the hotels in downtown where the sun gets stuck behind the other buildings. The service was all great but Turtle specifically was really awesome. Friendly and helpful, remembered everything, helped us out when some guys took our lounger because they were buying a bottle, he made sure we had some other chairs. It was honestly some of the best service weve had going out in awhile, service seems to be lacking elsewhere in LA! Ha! Ill be going back for sure! Cant wait!
I came here after a over priced Hollywood bar during my L.A. visit from Chicago. I felt much more at home here. Nice people, Cheaper drinks, fun all around! I was smoking on the back porch and had some great conversations about Black Flag and Minutemen. Raymond Pettibon art at the bathroom entrance was all I needed to see to decide I liked this place. The DJ was lame-o sitting watching the computer and clicking around, but he played decent stuff. Kind of a bummer waste of the tables sitting next to him, but oh well... I was not in Chicago.I would make another visit here on my next L.A. trip.
A nice, swanky bar in a hidden alley. This place offers vegan options for dinner, although they only offered a brick of tofu for an entree (when I ate dinner there last), which needed some work / more flavor. Aside from the food, the rooftop bar is really nice and the drinks are creative. That said, I come here for the drinks and atmosphere, not the food.
Loved almost everything about this place. made a 5:00pm reservation and were promptly seated upon arrival. Waitress explained the ordering process and invited us to try out the buffet table. Buffet was full of appetizers and sides for the meats (mashed potatoes, shrimp, onions, mushrooms, etc). Our table always had a full batch of rolls - which were amazing. We came for dinner so had a choice of about 18 meats. My favorites were the top sirloin and costelao. Only thing that kept me from giving this place 5 stars was the comment one of the waiters made. I didnt like the two pieces of lamb that were served to me, so I asked for a new plate because I wasnt going to eat them. He said, okay but just dont waste it. It was so awkward and immediately upsetting. Dinner is $60 a person and for someone to tell me not to waste two small pieces of lamb was upsetting. It made me question if that was something he dared to say to the white people in the restaurant.
Tiny, crowded, difficult to order a drink, but you could say that of pretty much any bar on Sunset on a Friday night. The drinks are good and reasonably priced for the area. I could live without the skeletal remains of marine life as decor (a deceased turtle and a deceased porcupine fish are among the collection) but the rest is kitschy good fun. Restrooms were surprisingly clean. Nice spot to pop in for a drink, but dont expect to find a place to sit.
Good friendly... Good vibe bar..... Daisy the Bartender is the best one to serve you quickly and very friendly and positive joyful person.. You can also order your food from the truck.. They deliver inside the bar and you can eat your food. . So get your drink on...oh and on Monday Karaoke .. Daisy is the host... Shes a awesome person.
Its a relationship based on proximity. However I like how hidden this place is. It keeps the crowds down to the locals. Bartenders are friendly folk. FREE PRETZELS! Great back patio to enjoy LA night weather.
I met a few friends here after work one day. It was perfect because I was able to walk from my office in DTLA. The food is great! Our waitress knew the menu and was able to make some recommendations. The only down fall, was the happy hour price for drinks is ONLY AT THE BAR. :( If you are a group of more than two then you really cant take advantage. I was annoyed by that part.
Basin is pretty much the best bar in La Crescenta. The food here is excellent and the service is always on point. I have never been disappointed. They have a great selection of hand-crafted cocktails and beers. The ambience is great and the place is always spotless. My husband and I love this place!!
Scott, the owner, is really cool. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. The lounge is very nice for gatherings. Best of all, the wine is great. Scott will take any bottle in the store and open it for tasting and the pours are VERY generous!
A Simple Bar is located in a small strip mall and you wouldnt notice it as youre driving by if you didnt already know to look for a cocktail bar here.True to what others have written, it was easy for our group to stop at this low-key lounge on a Thursday night for birthday drinks following dinner. We found seats for all of us in the corner and the service was fantastic. We arrived around 7:30 pm in time to catch the end of happy hour and it was still on the mellow side so we were able to carry on conversations which I always appreciate. Since I picked this stop without having scouted it, I was relieved and my friends were impressed.
Had the vegan buffalo chicken wrap & crispy fried garbanzo beans today and they were fresh and DELICIOUS! A neighborhood gem. Love their burgers too. Great food. Will definitely be back soon.
The remake of the this bar is amazing it looks so much better than before. The craft drinks are amazing as well is the staff. Mia made amazing craft drinks and I love the environment and feel of the bar. Its nice to have a local bar with great craft drinks and good music.
Scott knows how to pick em. Great place to sit down with some friends and enjoy some excellent wine. Not too noisy, you can bring in your own snacks or food from nearby restaurants. Friendly, relaxed vibe.
I love a great dive bar and this one does it right.Dark, small, lots of seating & some games. Drinks are a great price and theres people but not a crazy lot. Decor is random and tasteful, 10/10 in dive bar category
So the first time I visited the Frolic Room was back in 2006 on my first ever visit to Los Angeles. (About the time I caught the California fever and decided I am going to do everything in my power to move here.) What brought us to the Frolic Room of all places. Well the 311 song by the same name of course. I am a HUGE un apologetic 311 super fan and my favorite album is Dont Tread on Me.
We were here for the Sweet Tooth Fest they put on. It was a great event and the organizers, including Milan, made sure the event was a success. The ambiance at 25 Lusk is stunning, so cozy and yet modern. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely will join events like this again and certainly get a good dinner in a fantastic atmosphere.
I felt very at-home and everything was just...scrumptious. We had 4 or 5 different servers attend to us at each point in the meal who were all pleasant, kindly asking if we sought any suggestions. Ill pass this one on: cocktail: yacht club- refreshing
I live in North Hollywood, never partied out there. Started coming to The Edison and feel like Im at home! A place I will support any day. Love the customer service. Dante, Brian, James, Andrew thank you guys!
Im in The Edison, dining out with friends again. My friends have good taste, and booked a table at The Edison. Its got that modern sleek styling - almost Scandinavian in design - multi-level dining room and bar area. On a Tuesday night, the place was dead.
We had a really long wait for our restaurant table and decided to kill time at Tonys. The place was ok, no thrills for sure! Very laid back and easy place to pop in for a drink or two. And they dont sell soft drinks or at least coke that my friend tried to get...Beer seems to be their specialty. They do make damn good sweet potato fries though. Short but pleasant visit.
Long wait but good food. Once you tell them your party number then your set. They wont add a chair on the side.
I can see this is such a popular restaurant and lounge on the water in Malibu. The Malibu area is like another continent for us from South Bay, its just too far, too much traffic and too hot, so I would never make our way out here just for this restaurant alone. Since we were on the way back home so why not stop here for an early dinner and see whats all the hype about.
I just had the dry aged rib eye and some pizza that was maybe suppressata or something like that? Forgive me...hahah...whatever it was it was DELICIOUS!!! Seriously...one of the best meals Ive ever had. Will be back soon!!!!
Came in on a Saturday around lunch time. Waitress sat us immediately and service was great. Sushi was very good and fresh. Highly recommend. Will be coming again.
The Edison I love music, and I like to dance...and this place gave me both! We went on a Friday night and the DJ played a lot of old school hip hop, dance, etc. The drinks kept flowing, and the dance floor was spacious enough to not constantly bump elbows. This place has a lot of cute décor as well, (just look at all the Yelp pictures) so if youre into taking those profile pics/selfies, dont forget to walk around the entire venue. They also have an outdoor area/patio where the music isnt blaring (obviously because the DJ is inside), but a nice place to chill out after dancing for a while. They also have a decent amount of seating there but make sure that you secure your seats because they can go fast.
Absolutely delicious and worth the price. Go big at this place, everything is amazing. Their pork is incredible and the appetizers are really flavorful (small) but the plates are so worth it.
This place is the crown jewel of Burbank! We just had our engagement party here and the owner Giovanni, the manager Marla and our bartender Will were all extremely gracious, accommodating and fantastic hosts. Everyone went out of their way to make sure the experience ran smoothly. Giovanni is a very personable and passionate owner who sets the fun and charming vibe of the venue and makes you feel like family. The manager, Marla, was super organized and went to great lengths to help us with every detail she could and beyond. And our incredible bartender Will worked tirelessly all night to personally serve our guests with great service and charm. Our friends and family left amazed that this place was hidden in Burbank and were blown away by the quality of the wine. I honestly could not recommend this place enough to host an event.
The line is worth the wait! I got there around 9:50 and waited about 30 minutes? Wasnt too bad for $2 corn. Make sure you order a couple, just one corn is not enough, youll want more. At first my fiancé was disgusted, is that mayo? Is that butter? Is that 5lbs of cheese? (It was his first time trying it) but when he smothered it all together and took a bite, he devoured the whole thing. I think he enjoyed it more than me.
Friendly bar. Up your music game tho. I almost fell asleep lol. But chill vibes all around. The bartender was really friendly. Cheap drinks and clean restrooms.
I love the sleek, modern decor of 25 Lusk. It reminds me of some lounge out in NYC. This place is recommended for its ambiance. Great for drinks with the girls or a meet up spot for a first date; not so much for the food. (although I have heard great things about the cauliflower creme brûlée) But we opted to try their brunch.
Dinner was delicious. Amazing little restaurant, cant believe Ive never been here. Service was bit slow but our waiter was supper attentive when we did have his attention. Fresh pasta made from scratch and full of flavor. One of the best Italian restaurants Ive been to. My husband absolutely loved this place. We will be back for sure.
This place was really cool, elegant, and low key. Loved the ambience and vibe. The bartender Scott was incredible. He mixed up the best old fashioned Ive ever had. He is the perfect balance of knowledge, wit, and efficiency...exactly what you want when someone is mixing up your craft cocktails. Super talented mixologist. He was even able to accommodate a custom drink order my friend requested (my friend had a chocolate old fashioned in Florida and hoped it could be duplicated...Scott nailed it!!). What a lovely first time experience. I am seriously thinking of becoming a member simply from the fantastic personal attention and incredible concoctions Scott provides. The ambience is a factor as well. Loved it all, thank you! Will be back soon!
This was an experience people have to try. Alexis was a fantastic waitress. I was a little sad when she had to leave her replacement was horrible. But the environment was something I think everyone should go and see. It was like stepping back into the past. The food was really good. The prices are decent but this is not a drink and drown type of place. The drinks are well crafted. Overall it was definitely worth the drive.
Okay, this place is a must see as it is the oldest bar in san fran that has been in business for 120 years! the current owner has owned it for the last 40. Its an Irish bar. it is old, cozy, dusty, musty, worn, smells of a million years of bar life and a great place for a drink. They have tons of games and backgammon tables too. You will love the vintage cash register. Bring cash as no cards are accepted and the ATM next door charges $3.50 so stick up at your bank first. Also except for chips there is no food. Its a real bar. Like back in the day when you went to a bar to drink and to a restaurant to eat. Great selection of taps and lotsa hard bar for those wanting more! Longest and narrowest mens room ever! When next in San Fran I will be back fir a pint or two!
When the old glory meets the modern fun----the Edison! This extremely unique restaurant and night club, is located very close to 101 Freeway. I didnt see any visible parking structures near by, and they dont have a valet parking neither, so parking can be a challenge. However, when you walk by it from 2nd street, you would think that it is just an old, business building in downtown Los Angels. Until you enter the very unnoticeable door in the alley, then the whole game has changed! This place is a true hidden treasure! It has mysterious dimmed lights everywhere, the whole fun restaurant, bars and the night club, are actually two stories down to the basement!I feel like that I have found my paradise there!I love the old, antique furnitures, the beautiful curtains and drapes, the plenty of couches and sitting areas, and the old industrial equipments for Edisons to generate electricity in the past! This place also has 5 big movie screens on the walls, and they were constantly playing the old movies----it makes me feel like that the time machine has taken me back to the 1930s! What a wonderful and classic place to go! The DJ was playing a rather good mix of dancing music and the sexy girls perfomance on the stage, will certainly add some spice to your already high lightened mind!I certainly will go back to this place and to feel the ambivalence over and over again!
Great place to chill out and have either a nice stiff drink or a cold beer. Had a very relaxing few drinks before catching a movie up the street.Drinks are affordable and people here are down to earth and laid back. Place wasnt crowded and I like that. They have a pool table and a music box, even board games if you fancy to play with your table.
Food is way too overpriced for Mexican. I should know I am mexican and the cost of making a wet burrito is less than a dollar. I guess youre paying for the ambiance. Drinks were ok, I wont be back for the food though.
Very cool bar. Loved the love music, swing dancing, and the historic atmosphere. Will definitely go again.Their 3 specially cocktails didnt have descriptions on the menu and it was hard to communicate with the bartender through the loud music to learn what the cocktails were. On the night we went, it cost an extra $50 per person to sit down anywhere.
Cute little dive bar with pool and a jukebox. I went for the first time the other night and loved the atmosphere. The crowd seemed like a good mix of people and the drinks werent bad either. Its great to go hang out or catch up with some friends as it wasnt overly crowded. Ill definitely return!
I really loved this place. This place has a nice design.
Oh, man! How have I never reviewed Smugglers Cove? I dont even live on the west coast, but I make sure that I make it to Smugglers Cove every time Im in the San Fran area. The last time I went was early Dec. I made a special trip to House of Nanking from the airport and then took an Uber to Smugglers Cove right after it opened at 5 PM on a Monday. I was staying in Oakland and wanted to get it in before heading over the water.
I am a bar LoVer, I was there Saturday night. It was a very nice place. I am going back soon.
If youve never been to The Little Shamrock - remedy that Waaaaaysap. Not only is it a beautiful example of San Franciscos past - but its a lovely part of San Francisco present as well.
Been here a few times for their saturday night pool tournement. This a classic dive bar. Good prices and good pours. Everyone is friendy and inviting not like a small bar where regulars eyeball anyone new. Ryan the bartender is great. Friendly, welcoming, and just a great guy. Make you feel like you are regular. One of the best little local bars.
We had a 6 hour biz dinner here the other night...and i have to say, if i had to do another 6 hour dinner, Twenty-Five Lusk would not be a bad place
Stopped in with the husband for a drink before heading to a near by wedding. The cocktail menu was pretty fun and creative. We didnt order anything special but the drinks were well made and cheap during what I assume was happy hour. They have a good looking food and beer menu as well. There are plenty of games, TVs and a projection screen too. I could see my self coming back here and spending a lot of time, drinking, eating, playing games and watching sports.
Great servers, drinks, and ambience. Could use a few more food items.Downside is that the DJ plays music so loud you cant hear your friends or new acquaintances. Hes not very responsive to request to make the music level more reasonable.Drake was our bartender, and he definitely made interesting concoctions with a flair. Our party guests appreciated the extra pizzazz he put into it.
Redemtion! I went back to Twenty Five Lusk the weekend of Fleet Week and had an amazing dinner. The Manager and his staff took such good care of us. My guest were so impressed with the staff and thought our dinner was amazing. The menu is very creative and perfect for foodies. Lobster Benedict! OMG!
Moonshadows. It is one of the best options for food in Malibu, where the choices tend to be limited. Whenever you come here there is something great youll be able to find on the menu and the service that this place offers is like no other. Definitely recommend trying one of their starters, the tuna tartare and prosciutto are both very tasty. Been here for brunch and dinner, and all the meal here have not disappointed. The oysters are quite delicious, and the oven baked stuffed butter croissant. For dinner I highly recommend the salmon, the tuna steak, or the sea bass. All a great options and taste excellent! Additionally, to the very good food, are the gorgeous views that this place boasts of. I would agree that this place has one of the best beach front views along the PCH, and your meal will definitely have a nice ambience to it. Excellent choice for eating out in Malibu fo sure!
Extremely cool place in DTLA. Its below ground, 19th century vibes, great drinks and entertainment. Had the Absinthe here for the first time. Bartender was more than helpful in helping me choose something to match my mood and pallet. Decided on the St. George and I was not disappointed. I ordered one of the classic mixed drinks for my girlfriend and it too was aromatic, and beautiful to look at. The food too was also surprisingly good, settled on the pretzel and Tesla Fries, not disappointed at all. Definitely worth visiting. Overall a great experience to go to to hang out with friends in this low key, chill club.
Really good environment. Good drinks for good price. I like the vibe of the place everyone was very nice. It was a little weird since they just open tables and no one greets you.
Coming to the exploratorium is always a treat. I have been to the exploratorium after dark 4 times now and there is always something new and exciting that makes it worth coming every year.I bring a group of about 10 engineering interns from my company and they absolutely love the different hands on exhibits. Year after year visiting the exploratorium has been their favorite experience and we end up spending the full 4 hours here.
I LOVED THIS PLACE. I was visiting for work and my coworkers reserved space for hapoy hour.I ordered the $1 oysters and Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were amazing!! The oysters were Okay, I love more oysters with horseradish, so it wouldv
Great atmosphere and vibe here! Staff is very friendly and good drinks. If youre looking for a lively bar to hit up in Glendale, this is a great option! Drinks arent too watered down and they have an amazing whiskey selection. Would definitely come back again!
Basin is my and my husbands favorite restaurant (its where we had our first date 6 years ago). Highly recommend! Special shout out to Shannon and Shereen for being rock stars!
I’ve been a customer of The Edison since 2010. I had my 30th birthday here. And actually, at least an additional half dozen more birthdays. Along with other birthdays that I have suggested they make the Edison their spot to celebrate. I can’t say enough about the staff that works at this establishment; they are the absolute best.Is the place fun? Yes definitely. Visit on a salsa night and guaranteed you will not be disappointed.
Love this place my favorite standing bar cocktails..beerkaraoke night was fired up
Went here for a Birthday Party. Absolutely amazing. High end TVs. Updated furniture. It was all nice and new. Drinks were very good too. Didnt skimp on anything. Its a place I could see myself going back to over and over again. There is no food there. You can bring food there. They are cool like that. Great place to hang out with friends. Tables arent sticky!!!! Got a pool table and a bunch of booths to sit down. Best sport is near the fireplace. The best drink I had there was the Moscow Mule. It was spicy with ginger which makes it just right.
Crazy amazing happy hour deals - $5 to drink Malbec in a gorgeous hip environment. Yes, thank you. Feels like youre on a luxury cruiseship. This place is SEXAY!
Real drinks from veteran generations of tropical drink inventors, who happen to be Filipino Americans from the 1960s and home grown invention of the tiki bar concept here in Los Angeles.
Had such a great time performing Comedy and Magic at this venue. The staff was very helpful as was the sound guy and pretty much everybody that I ran into from the beginning all the way to the end. Looking forward to performing here again. From what it looks like everybody there had a great time as well.
With all the hip places leaving you more ostracized than junior high school, its great to come to Little Bar and feel welcome. There are good people, great music and the atmosphere lends itself for good communication. The staff are attentive and friendly, by far my favorite bar in LA.
Met up here for mixer at this local gem and was really impressed. I wish I lived in the neighborhood so it could be my local watering hole. Go here, dont annoy the bartender or locals and you should have a great time.
Excellent place. craft cocktails, plus burlesque & live music nights.
Its a great little dive bar! I enjoyed the atmosphere the owner is a terrific guy you can tell he loves the place and actually communicates and listens to customers opinions. If your ever in the area stop by this place its great
This place is exactly what I was looking for. Nice bartenders that remember you, cheap drinks, regulars that are friendly. I will go here again and again without thinking twice. Its off the beaten path a bit and theres no sign outside but dont let that fool you. Theres a healthy crowd inside, cold beers on tap, and a stellar liquor selection that wont break the bank. A+ bar.
Upscale bar with a lot of character and history. $10 cover on the weekends... Which I didn’t love seeing as the cocktails are already about $15 each. But i suppose it helps with crowd control? Attire is dressier, people are in cocktail dresses and nicer jackets so don’t come in too sporty or with streetwear. They may not turn you away but you’ll stick out.Crowd is a bit older. 30s to even late 40s as I saw. It’s not exactly a place to meet people but more a place to hang with your established group of friends. They have food that looked pretty good so you can sit down and order. The entertainment is a little jumbled. Top 40 DJ spinning with significantly louder jazz/burlesque performances sprinkled every now and then. The jazz is nice.
We came here in the evening for a glass of wine. There was a nice band playing. There are 2 couches, So its a nice place to relax and chill. Service was attentive.
After a trip to Maui, my bf & I are into all things tiki. Def a small place. Waited in line for 30 mins. Dress casual. Many of the locals wore Hawaiian shirts. Once in, I appreciated the decor and 3 generations fam-owned. Helpful that the tv monitors show a video on each and ingredients since they are not listed in the menu. My fav drink was the sweet Leilani. One star off since they dont serve blended drinks.
This place was the best birthday event I ever planned. I had a party of 12 people we had one of the biggest VIP sections in the place. The food was very tasty and our server Seth was awesome. He was very attentive and brought out my bottles exactly when I asked. I love live music and Mr. Malcom Ali Gave is a BOMB show. He serenaded all the birthday people and his singing was flawless. The Dj did her thing too. Wish I had pictures to post but all I have is lots of videos. Overall it will be a night to remember.
New hip little spot in ktown! Its def a good place to chill after work or after dinner for some casual drinks with friends! I would recommend this place to all my friends and bring all of them every time I come to LA!
I cant review it, because they wouldnt let us in... their websites stated dress code lists no t-shirts, no flip flops and no shorts, but it doesnt say no athletic shoes... but the door guy didnt like my buddys dark grey New Balance tennis shoes. The view from the bar The Perch was beautiful!
Love this place! Its so amazing since it has taken new ownership! They have fixed it up and its so clean and such a great fun environment for a night out and a cocktail!
Great spot for a fun night and cocktails! The decor and burlesque show make it feel like youre traveling back in time! A cool and different experience!
Good ambiance, plenty of space, love the pear cider on tap!
Based on my experience and tastes, The Edison was decent. This is more of a laid back environment (older people), so if you like to dance and lean towards a party person...this isn’t the place. I do have to acknowledge and say that the interior display and theme was interesting and eye catching, bit of a high end place. Still a good place but I wouldn’t personally recommend it.
Amazing food and amazing drinks but most of all wonderful staff!!!!P.S. Try the grilled cheese with avocados and bacon!!
Great club!Booked a private lounge here, had a wonderful experience. Very kind and helpful employees!Music and live acts were very great, definetly going here again!!
Here is really cool and fascinating place. Pretty bustling but there are many spaces then speakable. Authentic and modern atmosphere will give you a special time. And also entrance fee and drinks are not costing so much. There is no reason not to come here if you want to hang out in DTLA.
One of the last great neighborhood bars. Friendly bartenders, friendly regulars. The drinks are stiff and cheap and the jukebox was playing all night long. Its a little piece of Montrose history and you can see why its stood the test of time.Hope I get to visit again soon.
Last night was our first time we went to this fine restaurant. But It is definitely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the generous service, with the first-rate dishes and booze and with the friendly price. We will absolutely visit there in a short time.
Always classy, great ambiance. Plenty of room to dance and places to sit or stand if you prefer. There are dancers that come out around the upper perimeter every once in a while and there was a performance on stage the last time.
Went there on a Sunday night. I liked the atmosphere and their menu is very creative. Their drinks are named after novels. So that was fun. Drinks were very tasty. I think they have a decent selection of beer, wine and cocktails. We sat down at one of the tables and got food as well. The brussel sprouts were really good. Very flavorful. The problem is...the table was too small and the plate of brussel sprouts fell down...so that was a little sadYou do have to order at the bar.
Chill spot. Very reasonable price! Great local joint to have a good conversation over a couple of drinks - no need to scream your lungs off surrounded by college kids.
Thursdays are a slower time. Great cocktails and considering the venue and live music, pretty fair price. A wonderful homage to our a bygone era
The Edison is everything I hoped for and more. Ive been to the one in Florida and it was a dream. Im a HUGE fan of the Neverlands and Cliftons has been my go to for a solid two years so I was excited to finally try out the Edison! It is everything youd imagine an old Victorian, light bulb and engine factory to look like. Its dark and apothic and so aesthetically pleasing to the eye and I could imagine myself coming here more than Cliftons! The fact that it is a true speakeasy hidden underneath an alley, makes it all the cooler!!
Great finger foods ... wish during the day you can take people who are 21 and younger . Their appetizers are great. It does get packed and very noisy but its a fun atmosphere.
Just amazing.... drinks were perfect. The service was amazing and this was the coolest place in downtown by far!
