I absolutely loved my visit here. The house is a treasure trove that pays homage and testament to the huge talent and creativity of Tom of Finland. There is a large collection of his original works. The staff there were super friendly and told us a lot about Tom. Make sure to call ahead and make an appointment. Take time to walk around the gardens at the back.
Tom of Finland House and Foundation is a historic cultural monument granted by the Cultural Heritage Commission of City Of Los Angeles in 2016. Wow. Amazing friends of his made this all possible for myself or any fan trying to stock up on history to check out. Thanks

I work here, so Im biased, but this is a truly unique place. It is a living museum in every sense. It has a few permanent residents as well as a steam of artists-in-residence who come and stay for anywhere between a few days to a few months. It houses one of the largest collections of erotic art in the world and has an extensive library of printed books and multimedia.
Call ahead and make a plan. Dont show up unannounced.Love Love Love this place so much
Great tour. The tour guides were extremely thorough and had discussed detailed personal events with house and with Tom of Finland. Better than I anticipated. They make you feel like part of their family while there.
Very welcoming, a very interesting and engaged tour by the curator, Marc, and occupying a really interesting space between being a private house and a museum. They are doing great work to save gay art/a slice of our subculture. A real privilege!
Always a delight to stop in at the Foundation for ANY reason. If you want a taste of Toms life....make it a must on your places to go.
One of the coolest cultural landmarks in the city. A must for anyone who enjoys erotic art.
A fascinating and important landmark of Gay history and erotic artwork.
Unique, important, personal. 10/10 will go again.
