If you live in Los Angeles, check out this lovely art gallery at 3718 W. Slauson Ave. My husband and I were visiting LA from Tucson, had just grabbed an awesome veggie burger at Simply Wholesome (also on Slauson just a few minutes away) and wondered if there was an art gallery in the neighborhood. Voila! SoLA popped up on Google. What a delightful discovery.

Beautiful gallery! Looks smaller than it actually is, and the owner was nice.

A quaint gallery on slauson, east of Windsor LA area just before Crenshaw Avenue. Its A stones throw across the street from the corner block demise of LAs Son, Nipsey Hustle. Had I not gone to support an acquaintance I would never knew this place existed.Im not sure just how long its been established. But its nice to see progressive landmarks take stakes in our black & brown communities.Street parking available on both sides of the busy street. Easy in and easy out. Nice place for showcasing art and or hosting a reception of sorts.

Right on Slauson, joining the South Bay with LA. Rooms can house different shows or artists; good flow from one to another. #SteveSchriver exhibit of beautifully painted pieces with decorative frames reminding us he is the artist behind The History of the Bathingsuit mural off The South side of Pier Ave. It faces west on the side street just W. of #theantiquebarn .
