The Maccarone art gallery has an exhibit of Jim Carey (yep, that Jim Carey) cartoons showing his opinion of the meshuginah Republicans who have abandoned civility in order to make the super rich wealthier and to prevent minorities and women from having the civil rights that the constitution promises them.The gallery is very nicely laid out. Its quiet, nicely designed, and spacious. There is ample free street parking in this arts district.The exhibition will continue until December 1st, 2018.

A spacious, brilliantly simple gallery. High ceilings, uncluttered - an all white canvas that makes the Art the star.Just saw Jim Carreys framed political cartoons from 2016 before the election to the end of 2018. Masterful. Great/interesting experience. Nice variety of artists represented (from millennial to Louise Bourgeois). Thank you for coming to the west! (I was there a Sunday 5pm)

I’m sure the gallery is great, but they are definitely not open on tuesdays anymore. So we came out all that way for nothing. Leaving a review so others don’t have the same experience.

Nondescript outside, great atmosphere inside. Did a great job on the exhibit of work from Jim Carrey.

I liked it because it was a different experience. It is located in between factories & it was a bit sketchy but they set up the pace really nice. I went during the Portals by Kieth Sonnier exhibit. It is a gallery about distorting neon lights. It wouldve been better if I went during the night but overall it was cool to see that because it was different.

Went for Jim Carreys art. Loved it!
