Really cool! When I was there they had a meet the blue tongue skink and shark/ray feeding so that was cool to see. I really loved the shark/ray/fish tunnels. Its so cool and theyre so big! Feels like you can touch them! Its a good time for adults and kids.
My family and I came here this past Friday. I bought an annual membership back in August with a groupon deal but hadnt actually visited the aquarium until months later. I must say that I have been very pleased with the membership! Not only do you get discount or free entry for additional visitors to the aquarium, you get 25% off in the gift shop, invitations to special member events, AND possibly the best of all, you get discounted entry to various bay area attractions such as the Oakland & SF Zoos, and various museums etc...That alone is enough incentive to have me consider renewing the membership.
Ive been here twice this year when family from all over the world. Same girl at the welcome desk with great chancery service. Bubbly personality and very helpful. Is great to see youth enjoying what they do and spreading joy.
Pretty cool place. I recommend stopping by around dinner time to avoid the swarms of little ones. Makes the trip a bit easier without so much noise!
I found this aquarium to be just as enjoyable (and cheaper) than Monterey Bay. Its close to home and my 4 yr old loves it. We really enjoyed the newer otter exhibit and he always loves the tide pools. On the smaller side, but just right for younger children.
Cute aquarium and reasonable price considering the upkeep they have to do. One can spend about one and a half hours here. Cool for kids and adults.
We liked this place. A little expensive and hoaky at times, but the animals were neat and we got some really nice pictures. The highlight though, was when we were leaving, there was a GIANT pelican sitting outside just chilln with a large crowd gathered around taking pictures and feeding it. The pelican loved it. It was pretty funny!
Finally decided to check out this place after going through my list of places to visit. I got tickets from Group-on which is about 8 bucks discount from the general admission fee (Ka-ching!) However I also had to refund a previous purchased ticket from them (too long of a story) so they said they would process it and have my money back after about 5 days ( will give you guys an update about this).
I brought my kids here from South Bay to this Aquarium.Kids liked it a lot.Had an awesome walk in the tubes and tunnels.Thought it would be larger but still was pretty decent.
This gem is always a fun one ! Honestly this place might be small but, its honestly so fun and really good for anyones enjoyment ! The staff are super friendly and seem very happy! I would definitely come back here !
Great place on the pier and walking distance to a lot of the sites you come to the City . They have a fun interactive are for the whole family to enjoy.
I got here really early, probably 9:30am and it was almost empty. I recommend going early because it can get pretty crowded especially in the tanks that have sharks and the exhibits where you can touch the animals.
I came here for the first time 16 years ago with my family. I hadnt returned to CA since then, but I knew that whenever I did, Id have to stop once again by this aquarium.
Even before we moved to San Francisco, we avoided Fishermans Wharf, with the exception of three things: the sea lions that took over the docks, Scomas, and the Aquarium of the Bay.
Extremely detailed and great selections.
We are very fortunate to have such a great crew nearby, Bruce has been taking care of us about a year, he always does such a beautiful job and most importantly he is able to work with my sometimes difficult schedule. There office is neat and has a few aquariums to admire and the ladies in the office are wonderful as well.
Excellent fish store. They have TONS of freshwater selection. Anything from Betta fish, to Discus. They have saltwater animals as well, but it is much smaller than the freshwater. Would recommend for freshwater and saltwater.
Amazing company and customer service! They are extremely knowledgeable and have gone above and beyond to assure our tank was set up properly with everything that we needed. Anytime we have questions, they’re available to answer them. Our tank is truly a beautiful living piece of art! Thanks from the Winbornes!
John and his team are incredible in customer service and results. I had a tricky leak in my pond, and John didnt give up. He stayed with it till we found where it was and what it took to fix it. In the process, he regulated the water flow of my waterfalls and added a bubbler that made my koi fish very happy. And me too!! -- Gail Green
These guys are awesome! Nathan takes great care of our tank and works very well with us. Living Art Aquatic is the best!
I have used the services of Living Art Aquatic Design for several years. The quality of its services are reflected in the integrity of its owner Ron. Ron has personally designed and installed two spectacular tanks for me over the years. His designs are as imaginative as they are functional. Unlike some businesses that are simply looking to sell you the latest and greatest for the highest dollar value - Ron makes certain that your system fits your personal needs and budget.Anyone who has ever owned a tank from the largest commercial installation to the simplest of fish bowls, know that aquatic environments are imperfect and unpredictable. They need monitoring and care. This is what separates Living Art from the pack. Rons maintenance team is not only spot-on reliable, but available when you need them, to make sure your system, and the world of enchantment inside, remain healthy and vibrant.I highly recommend Living Art Aquatic Design to everyone I know who is considering the purchase of an aquarium. I wish I could give Ron and his crew more than five stars. They are the best!
I came across Living Art Aquatic Design from a recommendation from a friend. Prior to using Living Art Aquatic Design, I was attempting to service my mother’s home aquarium. Every time I would come back to her house, the water seemed green and there was algae growing. I needed some professional help. I love Living Art because they will come to your house and give you an estimate of exactly what you need for your tank. I have them come to my mom’s house once a week and the aquarium has never looked better. The service reps are always on time, very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Living Art Aquatic to anyone who takes pride in their aquarium. Living Art Aquatic Design is very knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Doing business with Living Art Aquatic Design was an experience beyond my wildest dreams. The most artistic, compassionate and knowledgeable staff I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The most incredible part is everything they did was based on my budget rather than theirs. Some things you cannot put a price on. Saltwater creations is now and will be my passion for life.
I love what these guys do and so professional and caring. Living Art is such a great description. The showroom has so many great choices and ideas and Ive looked thru their customer portfolio of finished designs too. Im definitely going for the regular maintenance package because its reasonably priced and I want my beautiful moving art healthy and clear at all times! So much better then television. Just wow!
They come out and take care of my salt water fish tank in my LA home every month. I am very happy with their services and the quality of care they offer to my tank. My fish tank looks at its best since I have been using them. Thank you for such great service.
I would like to give 10 stars but can give only 5 stars!! They come out to take care of my aquarium they always test my water. They let me know how my tank is doing. My aquarium always looks flawless and the fish look happy. Highly recommend if you want a professional company.
Cant say enough about this company and its employees. Nathan is super nice, very professional but most of all shows up when he says he will be there. I dont know about you but Im used to getting a 5 hour window for when a tech should arrive for service, and then the techs end up showing up the next day.Aside from being very knowledgable in his field nathan is easy to communicate with and is a pleasure to have him service our aquarium.Highly recommend. Ask for Nathan!!
We love our aquarium!! Living Arts personnel are amazing, they are knowledgeable, they did an awesome job setting up our tank, our fish are very happy, their weekly service is amazing, the aquarium maintain cleans. They worked with our budget and their weekly service fee is reasonable. Thank you Living Arts :) We are very happy with your service.
My BF and I visited together and this place rocks! Friendly people, beautiful and unique custom aquarium setups and they even come out weekly to clean and check-up. Totally chill! Im impressed!
I contacted Living Art Aquatic Design to have my aquarium checked out, the woman who answered the phone was very nice and told me she would have someone from the service department reach out to set up an appointment. Shortly afterwards Nathan called and set me up for a 2pm appointment.Sure enough at 2pm Nathan was at my door. He was very informative and took his time to explain everything before and after he finished the job. Prior to leaving he gave me his personal phone number and said to call if I had any more questions. He did a great job, and provided amazing customer service, I highly recommend this company.
Living art installed my aquarium about five years ago and have been taking care of it ever since. They have been doing such a phenomenal job and it brings such joy for my family. About a year ago while my husband was moving furniture, he knocked into the aquarium with a desk and the aquarium immediately cracked. At ten o’clock at night I called Living Art, and not only did they come out, but they spent the entire night cleaning up and saving all of my beloved fish and corals. They returned the next day and removed the broken aquarium and within two weeks they had my new aquarium up and running. It has been nothing but a true pleasure working with these guys.
Nathan takes care of my aquarium. It was amazing the transformation once he took over form the other company.
Very good.is so nike.
Living art has been taking care of the my reef tank for the last 3 months. Since they have taken over from the last service company all my corals and fish look a lot happier.A+ to these guys.Thank You!!
