This beautiful Fine Arts Museum is located in the downtown district in Longview Texas. I visited it my Leadersip Longview Class and we were treated to a wonderful tour filled with exquisite artwork. I highly recommend planning a visit or even becoming a member of the Arts and support this beautiful community and it’s artist!

This is a very good museum, better than I expected honestly. Admission is $5 and well worth it I think. The artwork changes every few months so theres often reason to go back.

My son and I visited LMFA and absolutely enjoyed our experience. We arrived with a group of people and were each warmly greeted, next we were given a very interesting tour, and then were treated to a scavenger hunt. The hunt was really a great way to make sure that many interesting facts about the art were not overlooked. I could have stayed much longer than our time allowed and look forward to my next visit.

Boring historical pictures. Not entertaining by any standards. I was followed like a shoplifter thru the entire display.

We purchased a Groupon for admission that was good through July 1. Arrived this morning to be greeted by this sign on the door that they were closed June 23 through July 10 for an exhibition installation. This is noted NOWHERE on their website or online event calendar. We drove more than an hour to check out the museum. Extremely disappointed that they would offer a Groupon for the whole month of June only to be closed for the entire last week of the month with no communication about the closure. We will not be returning.

Facility is clean and has good art. It can take anywhere from 40 minutes to over an hour to walk depending on how much you stop to read art descriptions. I like that they have different themes every month also.

It was a great day at the Museum. Enjoying the Blue Dog exhibits with our dearest friends from Tulsa who were visiting this weekend. It was also exciting to see so many people that also came this morning to enjoy the museum. Please find some friends you know and invite them to go with you to see the Blue Dog exhibit while it is still here!
