This swath of Long Beachs newly built Convention Center has yet to be opened to the general public ... alongside the stretch of many beachfront hotels also situated within the same area.A really outstanding locale for visitors alike between the walkways to and from the docks and Piers. Overlooking the waterfront over the promenade leading to where the Queen Mary is harboured. An overall great place when it becomes available to shop and eat. Close to major public transportation by light rail. And easily by car or bus.

The siti of the famous international motorcycle show, this is a great convention center outside of Los Angeles.

Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and the staff is trying hard to make us feel great coming hear. Its clean and happy and upscale in the ball park. Its nice to get out here and enjoy the game in person.

This is the biggest convention center Ive ever been in. Everything was super clean, bathrooms were beautiful, there are so many cool sculptures and chairs/tables everywhere. The mark up on the food offered is average for convention center prices.The views from the Convention Center were so gorgeous. I love how there is quick access to many great shopping and dinning options all in walking distance.

I was involved in DTR Discover the Ride event at the IMS International Motorcycle Show this year. Anyone who could ride a bicycle could sign up to ride an electric motorcycle around an indoor track. First you had to ride a power assist bike to prove you could ride. Many riders just wanted to try riding an electric motorcycle and were impressed. Other riders had never ridden a motorcycle. They were the ones with the big smile on there faces when they left the track. Most people walked away feeling good about what they had just accomplished.

I had a blast at the isse show. The convention was set up nicely. I do wish there were more people out to help point you to a booth you cant find. But other than that I was glad. The restrooms were kept clean that was a plus. They had a food and coffee cafe that was awesome. Definitely need to refuel walking around all day. Had a great time.

This place does not even need a Yelp page to know that it is the best ballpark in the MLB (Besides Wrigley and Fenway). Phenomenal atmosphere to watch a ballgame. Go Giants!

I was here for a conference and loved this center. It was extremely spacious and had lots of natural light, but not so large you felt lost. Loved the giant, dome-like windows!Staff were all friendly, it was conveniently located near the Hyatt, and for the most part was very quiet -an a far cry from an earlier conference, where they had construction going on around us!Bonus- many clean bathrooms.

I love it here at the convention center! It really is beautiful with all the lights, water fountains, and right next to the ocean... Ive been to the convention center numerous times for concerts, the circus, and musicals and plays. Its especially beautiful at Christmas time when the decorations light up the entire area and many people come to take pictures during the holidays! Highly recommended!

My first time. Great experience! Theres everything from food, shopping, artist that are talented. If you love designer clothing, this is youre spot . I had lemonade and pretzels, my fave snack . Love the vibe, really reccomend it.

Had a great time at the convention during the Fred Hall show. Lots of great people and deals as usual. I live this place every year and booked a great deal for Sept. Tuna fishing trip. Cant find a better deal than this place.

Beautiful theater with great acoustics. If you get a chance to see a show here dont pass it up.

Enjoying the convention here. Nice place; good signage so its easy to find everything. Lots of places to hang out, either to get away by ones self for bit or gather with a team. Convenient to other attractions and restaurants and the free Passport bus is fantastic to get around downtown and to various hotels.

Ive attended events here on several occasions and the Convention Center is always everything we need. The wide variety of art work adds real character to the place. (Youve got to check out those weird metal fishy thingies!)The meeting rooms are spread out in three different areas, so the first time I attended, I had to look a while to find some rooms.

Lovely and remarkably comfortable for a facility that holds thousands of people. Ample parking at relatively reasonable rates. Everything is ADA compliant. This is a hugh facility on several levels. Be prepared to walk, and walk, and walk some more.A professional staff of union technicians keep shows and exhibitions running smoothly. This solar powered facility easily supports thousands of attendees. Security is top-notch.Parking is located under the building on two levels and is moderately priced.Food service is available at several fast food counters. Prices are high.Best of all, are the chairs, with good lighting to conduct business or exchange moments with friends and/or colleagues. And not be walking.

A very clean, space, and well-laid out facility. It’s pretty easy to navigate the rooms as well. Overall, I’ve always attended great events here for one reason or another.

There are always great events and conventions that take place at this convention center. Fairly easy to find parking and there is shopping and food nearby. theres also close access to the free bus that can take you down to the Aquarium of the Pacific or the Queen Mary. The prices at the convention center are a little high as expected but there is a lot to do downtown that can make a trip to the convention center worth it. I also love seeing the fountain out front at night with all the beautiful lights.

Our @grypmat team had a great time at the Regional Airline conference at Long Beach Convention center. It is a small venue perfect for smaller shows. Facilities were decent and location is close to the water which is great after a long day networking at the show.

Good convention place need to improve cell phone coverage it is like a vault down there.

Went here for midsummer scream and it was such an amazing experience. The place is very big and the rooms used to hold work ship and a few screenings of events and sneak peaks was cool

This is a good trade show venue. The location in downtown Long Beach is not overly compelling.

Great location to enjoy entertainment. Arrived 30 minutes early to be told we couldnt go in until 15 minutes until show. Maybe they shouldve took in consideration of elders having to stand and wait or kids being restless in line.

I have visited both the concert venue and tr convention center. The layout is nice, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Food was good and the facility is very well decorated and colorful.

I attended the disney on ice event in the arena of this center. It was really interesting to watch the performers skate the entire frozen movie on ice!

Gorgeous convention center. Very spacious and clean. I had the opportunity to attend the Laserfiche conference and everything was run smoothly. Cleanest and best restrooms of any convention center or public arena I have ever walked into.

Big conventions held here - it will be somewhat cold inside since it’s also used for hockey games. Parking nearby usually runs $15 for the day. Restrooms inside aren’t in the best shape, but given the number of patrons it sees each year it is better than most!

Nice venue for E Hula Mau. Comfortable seats great sound system stage and lighting. Great Local Hawaiian kind food.Annual Hawaiian Hula festival.

I went to Disney on ice, we bought nachos, hot dogs, popcorn, a mix of graham crackers, pretzels, chocolate, withe fudge covered crackers and lemonade. Everything was good, seating here is way better then the Anaheim amphitheatre. Overall a great event for kids and adults.

Clean and spacious Convention Center with lots of active meetings, break areas and snack corners. If youre here for all day then park at the special event rate $15 with no in and out privileges, otherwise street parking fills up quickly and rated at $1.50 per hour.

Come here every year for Formula Drift! Amazing event and worth every penny, if your into drifting and cars that is.

The seats in the circular arena where really old but still better than bleacher seats. Food was typical and nothing special. No problem parking and clean bathrooms.

Great place to have a conference. There is plenty of restaurants, hotels and shopping nearby. Its walking distance to the boardwalk and evrrything that it has to offer. I would recommend Long Beach to any organization looking for a fresh place to do a conference.

It may be a lot smaller than say Wonder Con in Anaheim, but the LBC Comic Con was great! Easy parking at the convention with real cool and wonderful, nice ppl. Also the creators I met were all polite and awesome.

Friendly atmosphere! Great cosplay and lots to see on the exhibit floor. We come every year and are never disappointed. Always a fun time.

Went in through the delivery area.place was empty on sports arena side. During the day light hours with all the lights on it shows just how truly big it is inside.very impressive. Outside could use some painting.

Great place for events! The weather is amazing. The facilities are perfect for large scale conventions. The airbnb options are extremely affordable and withing waking distance. If you have to come to a convention here you can get a flight, Airbnb, and the lyfts to and from airport for $550. That is rock bottom for anything to do with California. I love it.

I came here last year for Midsummer scream and it was amazing and went to it this year and was unforgettable. The only things that bothered me was the restrooms were never kept clean such as there was paper on the floor and the ground was full of urine. If they had the cleaning crew doing there job in the restrooms more it would be a 5 star but for now I would have to keep it a 4.

This is one of the more premier convention centers in the area that is usually well kept and fairly easy to navigate. Parking is pretty decent with ample space on site.

This is my fourth time visiting this Convention Center and I have never had any problems there. The Center employees have always been so friendly and helpful. Parking has always been very convenient...when they open the doors by the parking structure. Otherwise, one has to walk to the front entrance just off the street. The spaces are large and the do have places to buy food from and an out door sitting area. This time, they had food trucks in their as well.

This place was amazing. Quite confusing at first and, should maybe have more maps made available on the outside. However it is a beautiful area and the staff were very helpeful, although sometimes a little less than professional.

Nice venue in a lot of ways, but beginning to show its age in some others. Recent additions like an outdoor lighted bridge behind one of the buildings are cool, but its also got a bit of an odd layout in a few areas that hurts the flow-- makes it easy to enter on one side, not knowing your event is on the other side, and getting very frustrated!

We used this parking lot to park our car before boarding our cruise ship. Carnival has separately allocated parking place, they have shuttle running to the ship at every 1/2 hr

I went to the jazz festival here. It was mt second year. The event was great and peaceful and it is definitely worth going to see. The view was also incredible!

Had an amazing time at my Convention. Sad to say not jazzed about the A/C being completely off in the beginning of August in Long Beach, with no compensation of such (like water that wasnt $4 for 8oz from the vendors). It was almost untenable. It made everyone so irritable the scary characters who dressed up for the Horror con I went to, were being threatened by the people who did not dress up but were just miserable! Not good Convention Center. But the Con was so fun, Im still coming back. If the A/C is off again......well.....well burn that bridge if we come to it.Nice facility. Rooms upstairs for panels, showings and displays. Downstairs also has large rooms for standing in lines and Celebrity photo ops. In the Basement area is the Convention hall, where at my Con, all the vendors were set up. I felt like it was miles of walking.Nice facility. Lots of windows which amplify the Summer Sun-heat.

Fred Hall fishing show was awesome. Parking is easy if you get there early. Lots to do.

The elevators in the parking structure are undependable. If you need the elevator instead of the stairs you might find yourself unable to get up the four flights to the convention center. Just something to be aware of before you go. The convention center itself is a beautiful location with many meeting rooms for various activities.

Easier to get to, and to park, than Anaheim or LA (from Huntington Beach), if not as large or sprawling as those other two centers.Facility is very clean, large, and well laid out.

Disney on ice was a really cool show. The center itself not so much. The whole area where I was sitting was shaking and vibrating the whole time I was there. Im sure it was a machine to keep the ice frozen, but made the visit less enjoyable than it should have been. The seats are old and dirty. Good thing theyre not cloth,, theyre vinyl.
