These guys were awesome! We had a late start, 10:30pm other restaurants werent serving food anymore. They accommodated us outside. Cant drink on an empty stomach. We had the tastiest wings weve had in a long time. The servers were all on point. Main meal was delightful (Chicken tacos & Avocado chicken wrap. Well definitely be back.

There were only tables outside because the inside space was rented out for a party, it was a gorgeous day so that was good. I had an amazing salad. The staff is friendly.

Located downstairs in the Villa del Sol, the Cellar is a beautiful venue with good food and unique cocktails. We enjoyed a few cocktails at happy hour, a fantastic charcuterie and cheese platter, and a delicious beet salad. Service was good (not fantastic), but friendly and generous. The bread which accompanied the platter and the salad was warm, fresh, and delicious. Well return.

Well if you want the smallest portions possible for a fairly high price this is the place. 25$ gets u 2 oz of rice 1 qtr oz of shrimp and maybe about 10 grams of meat. The drinks are pretty light maybe an oz pour. Enjoy your day.

My most recent experience was October 3, 2020. It was the most mediocre experience I’ve ever experienced in my entire life and I am apalled to call this restaurant a Long Beach establishment.Not only did the bounces over use their rights as well as degrade my civil rights they also broke the law as well as degraded me and my friends, I am highly disappointed in this restaurant and it was not what was expected and was very disappointing that this establishment is still in business.i asked to speak to a management or a supervisor and had no response except degrading and emotional degrading remarks from the staff ..especially the security staff . I will be pressing charges for multiple members or of the staff for multiple different changes.I’ve been a local in Long Beach my entire life, Born and raised and I’ve never been treated like this. I highly recommend do not go to this restaurant! -Long Beach local. I’m hoping a manager or supervisor reaches out to me sooner than later so I can discuss my issues, Questions, and concerns for everybody’s well-being in satisfaction.If not I will be forced to prioritize pressing charges against the security staff As they disregarded my civil rights as well as broken And disregarded their laws and guidelines that they are required to follow as New York State bounces/official security guards. I hope to speak with a supervisor or franchise manager before this goes any further. I am very upset

Very disappointing. Bartender forgot to enter one appetizer, and entered the burger incorrectly. Onion rings were extremely undercooked; onions were raw and batter was still wet.

Friendly and attentive staff. Service is phenomenal and the food was awesome. Ill be visiting again!

Food was decent, unfortunately my wife found hair in her food, service wasnt that great, when we walked in and got seated we were not offered water, we were not given any utensils or napkins, we received our food, still no utensils or napkins our waiter had no people skills, the hostess was professional and very pretty, but one of the other hostess took our seats in which our hostess cleaned the table for us, so when we arrived at the next table we had to wait for that table to be cleaned. Not a very good first impression.

You have to try the shrimps. The best!! Prices are decent and the have fresh and chill beers.

Let’s see, I went to Sunday Brunch with a group of friends for a birthday. It was empty and we were the only table. I ordered the chicken and “Belgian waffles”. This is what I received: BURNT EGGOS and POPCORN CHICKEN NUGGETS. Never in my life have I ever been given EGGO waffles in a restaurant, let only pay the amount of money I did for this disgusting excuse for “Chicken & Waffles”. Makes sense it was empty for brunch. Definitely better off sticking to Swingbellys.**Hope this representation of my EGGO Sunday brunch helps you improve. I mean it’s waffles, it’s not even that many ingredients...

The food was passable but not great. We had trouble getting served. Things were incredibly slow. The bar is wonderful and if I return it will be because of that. I will not even attempt to eat anything here. An uncaring staff at a restaurant can ruin a meal and a reputation. This is a local place that I have loved for years but now...

Poor experience. Food was actually tasty but the service was horrible and its basically a college sorority house. There is alot of immature annoying college kids day drinking. They run around the place and bump into people and hover around dining tables. The location is awesome and a really cute area though. Oh yeah and there is litterally no parking.

Unprofessional Security. Seams like security team at the venue working not to secure, but to implement physical skills without instant consequences, realizing that the staff has authority at the premises. We spend around $400 at the bar, paid cover fee, hence went to get some food with intention to come back and have great time. On returning back, they let two of us in, and the other two received refusal with explanation that all exits are final. At the same time security team were passing people in the venue. It than make sense.? After asking they letting whose people in but not us. I received this: “You have two seconds to disappear, if you wound I will kick you out, you pissing me off” ultimately after two second security guard pushed me out of premises.Horrible experience, unjust, and unconscionable experience.Never coming back. Business should not work like this.

New to town. Great Service. Respectful Employees, Awesome Food, Calm & Fun Atmosphere. Fun looking place and not overwhelming like some bars can be. Very spacious. Looking forward to summer here

Stopped in there with a friend. First issue was that several items on the menu were not offered. Apparently, these items are only available during the winter, yet the summer menu was not yet being handed out. Also, we were charged $2 more per drink and $1 more for the dish we ordered, than stated on the menu. They corrected our check, explaining that the register rings up summer prices which are higher than winter prices.

Went around 8:30 pm, on a SATURDAY night and it was surprisingly pretty empty . Their pretzels and cheeze appetizer was delicious!

My friends and i built Minnesotas in the sense that we provided the music and the bartenders were absolutely fantastic! Woody Minnesotas was like a home to all off us and we were a family! Ive never ever paid too get inside or this review would really be devastating! Lets start with the security! I didnt know people were still talking steroids and they have to be ex police officers with anger issues And Ladies be ready to be asked for sexual favors for entry As soon as you set foot inside the Fire Department should be called for over capacity If you can bring ski poles just so you can make it across any wood surfaces because they are covered in Beer and spilled Drinks that are never ever cleaned up Try getting a Drink Prisoners off War get a drink quicker! Lets talk about the management They are never available and do not deescalate any situation This was my absolute favorite place ever! I mean that with all my Heat Last time i was there was on my Birthday last year! I dont need a crystal ball to predict that it will declare chapter 11 and close its Doors100% The Lawsuits from negligence and physical abuse from security will Bankrup them Minnesotas i will always have the absolutely Beautiful memories thank you

The WORST bar I have ever been to in my entire life. The managers were extremely rude and the “security” was very inappropriate. There are so many other great bars in Long Beach. I would recommend avoiding this one, even if they have a fun cover band playing.

The good: Fun bar and was really nice place to dance. It had a great atmosphere and vibe. Drink prices were reasonable.The Bad: I dont know why there was a cover charge they didnt even have a band. There was a DJ i guess but he was playing terrible mash ups like it was 2009. Also there were not enough bar tenders so the line to get a drink was too long.

No organization skills. Waited 1hr and a half for a tidbit child size portion for $14.95. Child portion pasta was $17 for a something that I cook better at home. Management didnt have the curtousey to apologize for the delay or compensate the bill for such horrible service. Honestly giving a 1 star is being polite from my behalf.

As a rule, this has been my least favorite place for the last 20 years (*whippersnappers --- even when I was a whippersnapper) THAT being said...Whiskey Road is incredible AND Im a groupie so as long as you book them, Im in.

Came here the other weekend, ordered10 Traditional wings for $12.50 and Fried Seafood Platter - Sole, shrimp, scallops, french fries & cole slaw for $25. Wings tasted pretty bad, were cold and very small, the seafood platter not bad, I think a bit overpriced for what we’ve got though. Service was okay... waited for food a bit long. I give it a SOLID 3, would I come back or recommend it ? Nope.

POOR SERVICE! Arrived here today with the recommendations of a mate whom has lived in the area a while plus, had my ‘need to visit’ google flag already in place. Once there, not ONE staff member decided to host nor speak to my party. Just left and stopped by the Saloon close by instead. Great food and service there!!

Just had a graduation party at Minnesota’s in Long Beach New owners. So easy to work with. We had a private area The food was delicious. George made us everything we wanted with special dietary requests The music and drinks were perfectThe staff could not have been nicer and easier to work with.Will be going back for dinner frequently. Thank you Vinny and George. Party was a huge success!

Great outdoor seating and food selection. Fish tacos and ceasar salad were both delicious. I dont believe the prices were updated on the menu as everything was more expensive when the check came. It also took a while to get the check and literally 3 separate people forgot to bring the to-go container I needed..not sure if they were short staffed but it didnt seem particularly busy. Anyway, those are the only critiques I had. If you are looking for a casual place to chill in the sun, this is it!

Just went for brunch. Everytime we asked for something on the menu we were told they didnt have it.... I get it if youre a bar and brunch isnt your priority, but then dont do it. Waste of time. I felt bad for the hostess/waitress who had to take the heat for the place.

I hadnt been to Minnesotas in years and was pleasantly surprised while eating there this past Saturday night. The vibe was cool beach bar and the food was really good and reasonably priced... we will be back!

Place sucked. Gave it a star because it doesnt let me review it otherwise. Waited an hour and 30 minutes for out food. The chicken tidbits consisted of half of a half bread (Go to Billys beach cafe for best tidbits). The waiter didnt explain exactly what the margaritas deal included, we ended up paying full price for them when the menu said half off. The waiter barely apologized and managment never even approached our table. Honestly this place sucks, only good for the alcoholics in town at night.

This was my first visit to Minnesotas since the pre-renovation years. What an improvement! We had a raw seafood platter, which was great, and a few really well-made margaritas. Good job guys, Ill be returning.

Good place to go to and grab food during the day. Stay away during the night. Place gets absolutely slammed and youll have to push your way to the bar and hope they even notice you. Place was extremely hot with all the people packed in there.

We were seated and ordered pasta for our 3 year old daughter. They brought her meal. No utensils, we asked, they never came. Meanwhile my 3 year old is eating with her fingers. Had to ask a third time, finally got utensils with one bar napkin. Asked for our check and we will never again go back.

Nice atmosphere, but food could be better. The lobster was over cooked and rubbery, the Sangria was served without ice and was warm, and the clams were very gritty.

Someone fell to the ground after a fight and rushed the guy off the floor rather than letting trained doctors attend to him. Last time I ever attend this bar

Minnesotas hosted a baby shower for us this past weekend. They couldnt have been nicer or worked harder to please us. Everything was perfect. Jay the catering manager is a sweetheart.Food was great and service was excellent.Highly recommend for a party of any sort!!!

Thats place was my favorite until yesterday, after i finished my meal i left couple dollars tip and was leavingthe place, after 5 min one blond fat waitress came up to me and telling me this with very agressive voice next time ether youll leave me at least 10$ or 20$ Tip or dont come here again . What the hell people? Such a shame, How could you have that kind of waitress in that restaurant. You lost already one costumer today, and imagine how many of us youll loose every other day because of her. Non of my friends will visit that place any more its a big shame

I went here with my cousin,I was here about 2hrs having a good time for what it was and so I went to the bar in the back on the left when I bought 3 drinks,the bar back quickly threw a box on the counter knocking over all 3drinks spilling it on me,it was really loud music in there,so I was trying to let him know he did that,he started to yell and curse at me,I looked to my right and a bouncer 3times my size grabs me and shoves me out the side door and push me into greasey water,I called the cops and asked them to look at the cameras,the bouncers said they didnt work.what a suprise!!! Needless to say the bar back likes to talk his trash cause he thinks hes safe cause of the bouncers, the bar tender is a b+%$h,and the bouncers think they have the authority a cop has,and the cops back them up just cause they assume if your in there your drinking. And then they have an elaborate camera system that doesnt work! Amazing!!!!!Record on your phone when ever your out people!!!!!this place sucks!a lot of kids here too.

Apparently, the owners of this establshment disliked my review so much that they actually wrote and complained to have it removed!! So, I will try to include as much as I can from my experiences there without having to hear the owners of Minnesotas cry that they didnt like it!!In a word, this place is disgusting!! The food is nasty...greesy, flavorless, and just down right gross...wouldnt feed it to my dog!! The bar always smells like stale beer and smoke...although since they they got trashed from the hurricane and rebuilt, perhaps they actually washed it down!!As fas as the atmosphere...they crank the music so unbelievably loud, you cant hear anybody! Found out from a study why they do this...you drink more when you cant talk to, or hear people! Out of all the bars in long Beach, they are 1 of 2 places that charge a 10$ cover even when theres no band!The staff are arrogant and obnoxious! They still allow people to smoke in there even though its been banned in bars for years! They turn a blind eye to it. When I asked the bouncer to ask the smokers to go outside, he said, the owner said not to stop people and that they only receive a slap on the wrist, so he couldnt or wouldnt do anything!
