This is a great community park. Fun things for everyone. Some facilities are closed right now, but picnic areas, nature trail and water access is open. The lake is perfect for stand up paddle boards and kayaks. Clean restrooms and plenty of parking. There is a small access fee.

Not large, but we were visiting from out of town and were looking for some nature, which is hard to find in Stockton / Lodi. Very nice park. Dirt trails are very smooth, good for most bikes.

A really nice place to go and have a picnic it is also dog friendly! I had a picnic with my family and dogs and we had a really great time. If you bring your dogs remember to clean up after them they do not provide bags so you would have to bring them yourself.

I am lucky enough to live in Lodi and my favorite place to go in this city is Lodi lake it is one of the most gorgeous recreational parks for a small City that you have ever been to it is banked by the mccollumee river which is a tribute to the lake it has hiking trails filled with deer and the park itself is extremely well maintained, it has a boat ramp and a kayak rental agency and the geese alone would be a great reason to visit the lake

Lodi Lake jas more wildlife than one might think. Turtles can be spoted, small (3 to 6 inch) fish and frogs are visable around the walled banks, cranes and egrets hang out, and squirrels argue in the trees with little chirpy barks. Many species of birds are abound in the nature area along the riparian zone of the backside river and wooded trails. Mornings are best for a more solitude experience. At the north side of the lake there is a dog area. There is a boat launch anda sepratearea for kayak launching. The south side, left of the entrance, has a swim/beach area with a kiddie water play zone. Trees give a lot of shade. Picnic areas are throughout the park. There is two playgrounds. There o6s a couple large group covered event areas for big partys.

Park open from dawn until dusk. Fee to enter unless you walk in. Picnic areas available to rent through the parks dept, all others first come first serve. Dog friendly grass area (not fenced). Nature trail for walking or biking. Boat launch. Fishing year round from dam to 99 (check regulations). Great place for kayaks and paddle boards, jet skis, boats. I wouldnt recommend wakeboarding but light tubing would probably be ok. Lots of sand bars and downed trees underwater but river is dredged every few years or so. Great place for families and gatherings of any size.

I had came to this lake because the kayaking. Very beautiful place! Very clean, relaxing and good for ppl that want to bring there kids or family and walk there dog. HOWEVER since they allow jet skies it took away a chance of 5 stars! If your a kayaker which what they advertise here and even have rentals, think again! The delta is so close but yet people feel they should bring jet skis and ride around 40+ miles hr and cause you to almost flip your kayak. Then when it was time to go we had an issue loading the kayak. When they close up they close up!A lady that worked for the parks dept actually came up to us in her marked car and saw us STRUGGLING and said how much longer the park closes at dusk! We explained and visually obvious.. we said 20 minutes.. she couldnt wait 20 minutes and for us to drive out and then secure our kayaks. That is a busy road out there! She acted like we where teens hiding and party. She literally followed us to the gate to make sure we left. Boy she wanted get home to her late night tv program! So, great place if you want to walk and bbq other wise jet skis will ruin the experience along w the night lady if your having trouble loading up your vehicle!

Beautiful park and has a great boat ramp in the front designed for kayaks and the staff is amazingly helpful getting your kayaks in and out.The roads inside are starting to break down and are popped up from tree roots making it difficult for young ones on bikes. They have a wilderness walk area that is half paved and half dirt. You can truly connect with nature and see wild deer and other animals. Truly a beautiful place right on the river.

Short but beautiful trail. So many beautiful trees and lots of nature totally making you feel like you are in the wilderness. We were even fortunate to see a group of deer right up close. Its not a long trail but you can always double it like what we did. We are planning on coming back. Such a beautiful trail. Highly recommend it.

Absolutely gorgeous with a ton of things to do (ie: beach area, little trails, boat launch, etc.). Would definitely recommend for getting a bit of fresh air! Just make sure you watch out for any wildlife of course. I often saw deer, squirrels (tons of them!), and even little snakes (theyre harmless but of course dont agitate them). As you walk along the path youll even find bits of information about some of the critters living there like frogs or what type of plants are there!

My favorite part is the nature trail. It very shady theres a short way or the long way around by the river. There are squirrels, dear, and small red fox. Plenty of water to jet ski, canoe, float, swim. Nice grass area tables benches bathrooms. Playground for kid when theres not covid-19 restrictions.

Went kayaking solo. It was nice. I hate that the city is bustling around the lake because it takes away from the serenity of it all, but overall it was peaceful. Park and lake was clean and free of trash.Prices are decent for kayaks and stand up paddle boards. They are doing their part as far as keeping things sanitary during the pandemic. So kudos to the kayak shop there!

Went to a memorial at the Youth Activity Area by boat launch. Wasnt even aware this place was there. Definitely a hidden gem thats available to rent. There was a large wooden gazebo style covered area with i think 8(poss.12) picnic tables underneath. Large enough to keep us all dry during the occasional shower. There was even a nice cooking area with built-in charcoal grill & large stainless steel table. Even a grassy area for kids to play. Would be perfect for any gathering of friends or family.

Green grass .old trees for shade . access to the river .personel are great .ONLY ONE PROBLEM THE PARKING LOTS AND ROADWAY SUCK SO ROUGH THEY BEAT THE HELL OUT OF TOUR CAR OR TRUCKS SUSPENSION. It needs Repaved badly .its even hard for foot traffic the uneven parts at least .my opinion.

Some advice to money collectors at front entrance; when processing $13 launch fee from customers it would be extremely helpful and most appreciated to know that the bathrooms back at boat launch area are closed. This would save an unnecessary trip towing the boat back through the narrow road of the park to use bathroom at the front entrance that we had already passed on the way back to the boat launch
