Ive been many times but never so late in the year. It was a bit cold but there were few people and the wildlife was out in full. Definitely plan on going late again next year with better winter gear.

Nice place for hiking, Fisher,camping spend time with family for boating nice scenic views ... no MOBILE Tower in that place ...if you from different place ️please make sure you will go by car don’t get car pool from that place ...they have only local phone to contact no one will help so be prepared ...I listed few pictures about this place timings 4.45 they will close..

Good place for day outing

Great place to have fun.

Nice. Cool weather. Lots of stars at light. Trees offer shady relaxing. Clean restrooms. Well kept. Good escape from your daily grind and no cell srvc here. Huge picnic tables and good fire pits with grates for cooking atop the flame or embers.

Great kayaking and camping.

Nice campground. Lake is swimmable. They finally got yellow jacket traps so pests leave you alone

Looks like a good place to have family outing. There is a boat launch and ample parking and several picknik tables, even camping for both tents and RVs, including a dump station further into the park. This is a great place to hike during the week. Have not been on weekends but there was very few people using this awesome recreation spot. Definitely a good place for both the solitary type and a group outing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dogs are allowed, biking and horses too. The hiking is not for the faint of heart however, as the inclines and more than normal insects due to grazing cattle make hiking for those who are prepared and used to harsh conditions. During the summer months, temperatures are likely to get very hot which makes hiking even more difficult if you are not prepared for the environment. Bring lots of water and pay attention to the signs as you need a permit to hike in some areas. There is cell phone signal in various parts but also dead zones so let someone know if you plan on going way out.

An awesome spot to get away to and camp, especially as a group but dang theyre quite heavy handed in terms of rule enforcement. Police all over the place enforcing quiet time and alcohol rules. No swimming or wading at beaches unless in designed areas otherwise police, rangers or lifeguards come down on you again. No floaties in designed swim areas but you can use them outside the area where you cant wade or swim... it goes on and on!Lighten up! People just want to enjoy themselves, if Im swimming outside the area I understand that a lifeguard isnt watching and may not be able to rescue me.

Really had one of the Best times of my life because of that incredible lovely wonderful women that help make the trip rock ️ Status it was of honor and a pleasure and very grateful for the clarity of the days and the wonder of the laughter of the children peacefulness of the valley but it was the new friendships that were made and the awesomeness of the powerful amazing women that brought it all together you girls rock you know it you know who you are keep doing it because at the end of the night you can always know that if you need a hand to pull you up out of your funk that serve road to go

Very nice place for boating. We rented the 10 people boat for $100/2 hr. Took the boat around the lake, stopped in the middle and spent time listening to radio. It was great experience. Staff was also very friendly.

Great family time!

Really bad for camping. Sprinklers turned on at 3 AM and drenched our belongings.
