Just drove in for the night and searched for good walking trails. This was the perfect mix of beautiful landscape and short trail. Nice public park!
Lovely little scenic spot nestle in the states capital city limits! Great destination for all ages! Activities and events held all l throughout the year! Local favorite and tourist attraction! Enjoyable experiences!
One of my favorites just because of how many treasures I find. Plenty parking on off hours. I’ve gone at less busy times, so I don’t ever have a problem. Playground. Ball field. Pavilions with grills. Upper parking or unloading for pavilions only open at certain hours. Lovely creek with a cute little bridge. Dog poop bag dispensers with bags. Nice for a little walk or exploring through the woods. Heavy on mosquitoes at night and in the woods trail area. Trails link together and lead into neighborhoods. Honeysuckles make the place smell so wonderful when it blooms everywhere!
There are a lot of parks in Little Rock but this ones my favorite. You feel like youre deep in the woods in the middle of the city! A nice walk with lots of trees, but Hillcrest with dinning and coffee shops is close by for when youre ready to relax.
Very peaceful park. Always enjoy the scenic walks through here.
The park is nice & quite & clean. Has some paved trails, tennis courts, playground, baseball/kickball field, Creek, covered pavilion, & plenty of beautiful nature. Close to the Arkansas River & Downtown.
This is so awesome! Ive never seen a FREE bike repair station like this before and its genius! All the tools are easy to get to but also are locked/chained to the station to prevent theft. I have been seeing this for a couple weeks now but never would have guessed it was this! Like I said before GENIUS! Gateway at Allsopp Park North I believe its called, but whatever its really cool!
Nice park. Ball field needs love but nice part of town and layout.
View was great nice pavillion. Only wish bathroom was closer
This pleasant little park is great find! Neat, clean, not very crowded. Perfect for our evening walks!
Gorgeous park and trails. Will be returning.
Atomsphere was quite just like I like it!!! Small Creek with water was very calming
This place is a little treasure. Nice trails. Woodland. And theres a little ensemble that regularly plays at noon. Delightful to wander around with a musical background. Get out in some nature and unwind.
Shady. Nice Creek for exploring. Shaded playground. Lots of paved walking paths. Great little spot.
My youngest daughter (19 months old) loved the creek that looks man-made. She seemed to really mellow out and enjoy the sun and the crystal clear water that was gently rolling past the rocks that broke the surface of the stream from underneath. Shes usually a ball of energy and this place really seemed to soothe her.
There’s so much to do! There’s a small loop that’s paved that goes around the activity area, a larger “South” loop that’s about 1.3 miles that takes you on a forest walk and a “North” loop that you have to cross a street to get to but is more secluded. Zoom into Google maps just close enough and it’ll show you the walk paths. The loops start in the south west culdesack of the south west parking lot.Baseball diamonds, playground equipment, art, covered areas, and even a tennis court. Time here is automatically well spent just showing up.
Always such a good escape!
Park looks great. whoever cut the park did an amazing job for real.
AA meeting Saturday and Sunday 1pm @ pavilion & Monday through Friday @ 5pm.
My favorite thing about this park is once you get on the trails you can forget that you are in the middle of the city. If you dont feel up to the drive out to Pinnacle this park is the place to go. One word of caution, the sidewalks in and around the park are in desperate need of repair. Watch your step if you are walking/running on them.
I loved my first visit and I come as often as I can. Its clean and there are many shady places to sit or dance or just wiggle around in. Also the pavilion is well kept and it has the most creepy cool fireplace Ive seen in ages. Oh and...it has an awesome bridge Im pretty sure trolls live under in the winter. Yep.
Deducted a star for people not picking up after their fury friends. Had a great time until a dirty landmine was found. Other than that, its a great park.
Nice clean park, covered pavilion, safe neighborhood
Walked ruffly half of the trail with my kids. Kind of wish it wasnt sooo populated around the trails but it was a good time and the kids enjoyed the park and trail.
Good place to host any event
One of the best parks in Little Rock! My son loves playing on all of the trails and in the creek! There’s also a well kept baseball field and playground.
Very nice atmosphere to walk around and play with your children.
It was nice. The trail Jorge (my dog) and I took was a beginner trail (30 min hike their/back on the sign indicating Nature Trail), or possibly they are short bc its in city and lots of homes surrounding the park?.. Does anyone know if they have longer trails? And, I was informed of a Waterfall off one of the hiking trails?.. Unless, I am mistaken and its another park all together???
They have multiple choices such as Basketball and Tennis which is amazing since I do both and their water fountain is cold since its spring water
Nice quiet Park, good play area, nice picnic tables. Well kept and secluded.Convenient to downtown, but different enough for a pleasant break in the middle of the day.
First time there. Nice and quiet
Lots of space for outdoor sports and some beautiful nature trails
It was so fun. It was peacepeaceful. Igot a chance to sing without anyone hearing.
This park has a lot of shade and a lot to offer. It is a nice place to feel like you aren’t in the middle of the city, even when you are.
Allsopp Park is a Little Rock treasure. Great walking trails in a wooded area laced with streams, reminding walkers that as one moves away from the Arkansas River to the north and west in Little Rock, one begins to encounter the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains chain. The Hillcrest Neighborhood Association generously helps to maintain the park and keep it clean. There are paved paths for biking, and in the flat area leading to the Arkansas River, tennis courts and picnic areas. One caveat: the hiking trails tend to be rocky, and it can be easy to fall if one doesnt watch her/his step. Also, bikers often disobey regulations to stay only on the paved areas of the park, and can be reckless, aggressive, and rude, spoiling ones enjoyment of this park, which attracts many walkers at at all seasons.
I love this park. There is a playground, basketball court, baseball field, tennis court, creek, and many walking trails. Its a great place to go exploring and let kids play.
This place is great for families. it has mountain biking and hiking trails in the middle of the city. Just be careful when riding. People tend to keep their dogs off leash and the trails are not maintained.
Frances Carner...Long time Hillcrest resident is making HUGE STRIDES...in getting Allsopp Park on the maps and making it even MORE GORGEOUS!
Nice little park, I love the trails
I went there in the morning with my girlfriend. Very pretty park. Bathrooms were pretty nasty but I mean I went to go for a walk and it was very nice for that. Would definitely recommend this park.
An historic favorite, small park with bike and walking trails in West Central Little Rock. One large open pavilion with fireplace, tennis courts, playground equipment, a small stream and a well used baseball diamond. Restrooms. Tucked away below the Hillcrest neighborhood off of Cantrell, 1/4 Mike from a Sonic and a Starbucks. Cub and Boy Scouts use the area weekly.
Great location and great spot to chill and relax!
Gorgeous and clean. Nice nature trails and all around quiet from the everyday hustle and bustle of the city. Good place to clear your mind and enjoy exploring.
Cool place for kickball. I heard they have a hiking trail I want to check out.
This is my favorite place in Little Rock. There are miles and miles of trails so youll never be bored.
Great park to go play. Especially loved the walking trail.
Our large pizza was as thin as Mexican chips and looked white and had hardly any cheese or toppings and between two adults and two kids, we could each have two pieces. I was so disappointed, everyone was offering me their piece bc Im pregnant, two non existant pieces was not enough to fill up a child over the age of 2, we were all left starving or still hungry at most. The worst experience ever at us pizza. Ever. Ever. Ever. I cant believe they sent that out.
Nice park in midtown Little Rock mini nice trails throughout the park. The North end of the park has playgrounds for children as well as a few tennis court it also has a public restroom and at least one covered picnic area.
The pavilion was large and kept us all dry. The restrooms were across the parking lot. A bit of a walk, but not too shabby.
Great gathering place in nature. Walkways need repairs.
Beautiful park in Little Rock that has a bit of everything for anyone. Slightly secluded and large, Allsopp has forest trails, tennis, a softball field, swings, a playground, picnic areas, a pavilion, and parking. Also, having lived in the area, there are no sidewalks in the neighborhood - just along the street. So, this place offers a safe place to enjoy being outside. Plenty of nature and the trails are lengthy for an urban park. You could walk all the way to Hillcrest!
Convenient woodland escape in the center of the Hillcrest and Riverdale neighborhoods.
Its a pretty nature park with a kids playground, some swings, tennis courts, and trails.
Love this place for dog walks. Although ticks are a plenty, its worth the risk for the dog.
Great playground equipment my nephew lived playing there
Look great
Such a great escape from Little Rock. Makes you feel like you are not in the middle of a city.
Beautiful park to run and hike in. There are many inclines to get hill work done as well.
Great place to walk the dog and get some tree therapy
Beautiful... its clean and we loved it!
Plenty of walking trails, a baseball field, playground, basketball/tennis dual area, and a large open area. My boys and I enjoy visiting to make use of all of the above.
Its great to see that the Little Rock Parks Dept is making improvements to the great park.
Perfect family park. Kid friendly and pet friendly. Perfect if you need to find a playground for your kids, trails to hike with amazing scenery, baseball field for your personal or team use, tennis court, basketball hoop, AND an amazingly comfortable sized pavilion which seats over 15 people for get-togethers, parties, or just to hang out. MY #1 park for my little family and dogs.
Perfect day to stroll in the woods!
Come here regularly with my five year old. Playground is good for someone his age. No inside play. Has bathrooms but I didnt check to see whether or not they were open in Winter (January).
Great park. It has a pavilion, play ground, ball feild, tennis court, and hiking trails. Very pretty as well.
Nice trails
I cannot believe how beautiful and peaceful this park is, smack dab in the middle of the city!
Such a fun place to have a picnic, play, and go for a hike!
Great little park. Take the kids old shoes and towels, wading the creek is popular.
Relaxing, clean... great place for families
This is a wonderful park that is beautifully maintained. It has wonderful trails that go up to Kavanaugh.
Taking care of business sitting under some shade now off to my work to get done paperwork
Really nice park. Lots of shade around the pavillion. Running water would have make it even more appealing.
Its a decent park
Thats a nice place to go just see what the trees look like.
Nice little park
This visit was for the annual Canoe Club BBQ for members. It was nice as usual in the pavilion, with lights, nice fire in the fireplace. Bath rooms could have been closer.
My favorite park. Always quiet and clean
