Great park. Plenty of shade for the grown ups and lots to do for the littles. Like others have said, big kids will likely get bored, but my 5yo is ready to go back. The bigger kids will likely enjoy the brand new playground just behind the splash pad. It is the first of this design in TX and one of the first 2 in the country.

Such a GREAT little park to bring the little ones to cool off on a HOT summer day in North Texas. Its free and convenient. Its definitely NOT for bigger kids, so respect the peace and only bring smaller children, or WELL BEHAVED bigger kids. Theres too many little ones running around... with big kids and their rambunctious behaviors, the little ones could get hurt. There are a good amount of tables and seating under the shade, good place for picnics and snacks. It gets pretty busy on any given day, so dont expect to be the only ones there, like ever... lol! I rate this splash park 5 stars, and would definitely recommend it.

Free for residents. Clean. Well maintained. Good hours. Not crowded. What a wonderful investment that the city has made.

Good midway point to park Between Kings Crossing and McCord. Nice paved trail and connects to about 5 miles of unpaved but very wide cinder trail along lake shore.

Nice splash pad for little kids (my 12 years old enjoyed it ) with lots of shady area and seats, also there is beautiful good trail there.

This place is awesome for families to take the little ones. My kids love it so much! Its so nice to live in area that has free places like this to enjoy

Great splash park for kids and parents

Great new area splash pad! Love the hours, lots of parking and some shade thanks to a big picnic pavilion. Came here on a Sunday morning and it was pretty busy. Great area for toddlers/young kids. They have a water slide and lots of water jets all around the area. There’s water fountains by the bathroom building as well.

Great splash pad for the little ones in Little Elm. Shocked it wasnt that busy, if it wasnt for the birthday party we were invited to, there would be maybe 4 kids total.Great way to stay cool in the TX summer.

My grandkids love to come here because we just moved in around the corner. The only problem Im finding is a lot of parents are not keeping an eye on their kids and they are hanging in the pool at the bottom of the slide and being aggressive with kids on the slide. I am very particular about how my grand kids behave out in public and I dont care for parents that dont watch their kids and teach them proper manners. Otherwise the kids have a great time here.

Great little spot for a cool down! My kids love water. There is also a trail leading off the park. You can do a nature walk to let the kids dry off before leaving the park.

My kids were amazed by this splash pad. They played about 3 hours there, and didnt want to leave. Its not too big, but its very fun. Its the best place if you want to take the kids out and do some picinic on the shady tables. Im definitely taking my kids there again.

Splash pad is always fun other than the fact they havent fixed the slippery concrete in over a year. You definitely need to have your kids wear their water shoes or else make sure you know where the closest emergency room is!

The park is cute but I have serious concerns with the lack of ample shade and play surfaces. My grandson slipped and cracked his head. I saw a few kids slip and two days later had someone else tell me that they had just left because it was dangerous and they experienced a slip and fall as well. The city needs to look into redoing the surface of the water play area and adding more covered seating.

Good for kids but not adults. Very small but good for small picnic. Less number of tables and small parking. Closes at 9pm.

My 4yo and 2yo had a blast. There was something for everyone. Great free activity for your kiddos on a hot day!

To tell the truth, its very refreshing but very slippery. I almost fell twice & my 3 yr old God daughter did fall and hit her head.Id recommend fixing that

Had lots of fun there besides the much older kids not letting the little ones slide down the slide.

Plenty of shaded seating and the kids had a blast. Definitely an easy place to kill a couple hours when its too hot to do anything else.

It is probably one of the best splash pads I have ever seen. The fact that it is a community park makes it even better.

Super new and tons of fun. Tip: make sure that your little one wears water shoes. Tons of kids slipped and hit their heads while we were there. Still the place is just so much fun!

An awesome splash pad! Multiple fountains including a slide. Plenty of seating and tables,clean restrooms, and a nice sized parking lot.My 18 month nephew goes non-stop from one water attraction to the other for a solid30 minutes!! Bravo Little Elm...Well done!!

Very fun. I would recommend water shoes, as the ground can be slick for younger kids.

Great splash pad with unique features, including a small water slide. New shade installed more than doubled the shaded seating. Plenty of parking the 3 different times weve been so far. This is definitely going to be a regular place to visit.

Not safe, a lot cars are getting broken into in the parking lot during the day. The slide get dangerous as kids pile up at the bottom. I would give it 5 stars if it wasnt for the safety issues.

Great size splash pad and clean, if there is ever an issue it gets handled quickly.

The park is nice and new but its small and only 1 slide which kids just sit in the bottom. Theres alot of noisy construction going on around it so you cant even hear the person next to you talking.

3 Stars because I think Little Elm could have done just a tad better, but the area is fun for the kids, nice shades seats, just a bit too small, if you dont get there early you wont get a nice table with shade, the good thing is people dont tend to hang out there too long, all in all a nice feature for our nice town.

We were there yesterday and it is great. Although it needs an attendees for supervision. I went to my car only to find a threatening note because I parked incorrectly due to another. Then another car thought it was wise to park where there wasn’t room. There were plenty of parking spaces available. I had to contact law enforcement. The person also damaged the car on the other side. There was no one to report to other than law enforcement and who likes doing that on fun day. Upon returning to the splash pad there were children digging through our personal belongings and threw one of my daughter’s toys into the street. The mother was watching her children digging through others belongings. Trashy people! What beautiful park but needs to be monitored. I wouldn’t mind paying a small fee if it kept out trashy people like these people.

Great splash pad with slide and water dumping area! Fun for little and big kids. Only complaint is there’s a dumpster right next to it so you’re constantly getting a wave of bad smells and there’s a bad fly problem at the picnic area.

Wonderful place for children and the family

Really great brand-new spash pad. Very modern sprayers that are fun for kids of all ages, and some covered seating (they have signs up that theyre adding more shade coverage soon as well). A large rotating bucket dumps every couple minutes in the center. There are a lot of small sprayers along the sides that are great for toddlers too.One of the best features is a small self-contained water slide (no pool, just a catch basin that collects some water to slow you down). It isnt very big, but the kids seem to LOVE it and line up to take turns again and again.Now, this place just opened a few days ago—so it will likely be very busy once school is out, but is still a great option. We went at about 7pm and it was very busy, but by 8pm there were only about a dozen kids playing. Unlike Frisco splash pads, the water doesnt turn off at 8pm—we were there past 9pm and it was still going strong.There are restrooms on site, and it connects to McCord park via the walking/bike trails (but has its own parking lot off of Witt Road just north of King). There are a number of tables with chairs, and a low wall thats also sitting height. Note that a lot of people are saying this is *at* McCord park—it isnt, and it you park on that side youre in for a long walk.This is a REALLY well designed space, and will be even better when they add additional shade covers and the trees mature a bit!

It Has multiple fountains and water coming from all around. It was kind of watergun too. You can target people and splash it. The best part is when the upper tank is filled up and droped all the water on the slide.
