Ill start with the bad first. They were clearly not anticipating that size of a crowd so the wait was hours long. However the staff was great! The house itself is one of the best Ive been to in a very long time. Twists and turns, good actors, and tins of fun. I love these smaller haunted houses way better than the multi million $ ones like netherworld. Although its cool too. Id definitely go to containment again and again!!

Attention Haunt seekers!While I am looking forward to my scheduled trip again this year, I just want to throw this out there for those who are considering a visit to Containment’s Haunted House.Yes. Many people will check ratings or reviews pertaining to a haunt before actually visiting the attraction for the first time. However, please keep in mind that everyone has a different tolerance of fear based on the individual, it’s just not feasible to please all. Instead, look at the experience overall, even at an owners point of view. So much work goes in to creating a haunted attraction including, haunt layouts, safety precautions, interior/exterior decor, job applicants, interviews/auditions, construction work, so on and so forth. It’s a huge job! I commend all employees and staff members who put forth the effort in donating their personal time and efforts in creating something enjoyable for all to visit and enjoy.Now, reading some of these low reviews about scare actors not adequately staffed? Look. It can be very stressful, and challenging for an owner of a haunt to find many volunteers who are willing to work at commission based off of ticket sales. Especially, if they have a full time job elsewhere but still do it for the love of the haunt, and the joy it brings to others. Again, I commend these people because I don’t know about you, but I would be one tired puppy after working my full time job, then heading over to put on a show for thousands of viewers each night. It’s exhausting!Also, I read others opinions about this place hyping themselves up on their websites but not living up to viewers expectations. It’s a business! If you owned your own business would you rather downgrade the material, instead of overselling it to the public? Right. It’s marketing and publicity.I would strongly recommend haunt seekers to visit Containment’s Haunted House. It’s very well planned and organized. The staffing truly cares about their guest, and employees. I met one of the co-owners at Six Flags during Fright Fest who (1) Loved that I was wearing his Haunt shirt in the park. (2) Wanted to make sure that they’ve done their job by creating a memorable experience for me during my last visit. Totally a great guy!I’ll see you guys soon!

The theme and set up was very nice. Other than that, there wasn’t enough actors and it was not scary at all. The timing of the actors jumping out was completely off. Going through the haunted house only took about 20 mines, VERY short!

It was pretty good. The actors were very lively and convincing. One part was a little overzealous with the man eating plant. It seemed as if I wasnt going to be allowed to continue through the haunted house. Overall a great experience.

I would give 5 stars if it weren’t for the chick that had to be rude to people because her boyfriend wanted to flirt with someone that wasn’t her. Sorry you can’t be nice to your boyfriend or to patrons, but you should probably keep your relationship out of work. Other than that? Great experience. All I can say is, it’s a job. Don’t be so ridiculous next time.

Had a great time on 10/18/2020. The staff was wonderful and the house was phenomenal. Kids really loved the mannequins! Wait time was excellent... this is a must do for all who love haunted houses.

So let me start off by saying the haunted house itself was great. We got plenty of scares and jumps, it was worth the money. However the virtual line thing seems like kind of a joke, no one actually checked to make sure we got a text saying to come to the line, so theoretically I could have just said yes as soon as I got there and not wait an hour. Also, in case anyone wants to know they never scanned the tickets, so if you bought tickets you could email them to a friend and they could use them too, as long as you go the same night. I would have given them five stars, but was irritated that I waited in this virtual line when I didnt have to, because they just took my word that I had gotten a text.

So much fun!!! the best haunted house i’ve been to. very theatrical & they involve you in every scene. it’s definitely scary but not too scary as to where you don’t have fun. my whole party loved it.

Great makeup and awesome props and animatronics. They could def do with less flashing strobe lights, if u cant be around them beware. If u love haunts its a must see!!

Its the best haunt in Atlanta by far!!! The rooms and story line is great and the actors are the best. I cant wait to go back and do it again...

Pretty sorry...they told us 30min wait from ur car. Didnt tell us we could ALSO walk right up and get in faster. Waited 1-1/2 hours thinking everyone was in a virtual line when actually only people waiting in cars were in a line. I asked about getting in faster at 45 min mark as was told same wait in or out of car but that was a lie. Once in, attraction was a DUD, good actors and good sets but not scary at all. Stay home and watch a movie.

Im the one in the pink..it was cool. I was too busy being the leader to be scared, but it was a cool scary place.

Not worth the money or wait AT ALL. I understand COVID may of had an impact on our experience, but it was honestly not scary at all. There were no actors in any of the trap doors(which usually is what scares me), Not many actors inside the attraction at all, it just overall wasn’t good. We went opening night, did the virtual line, waited 2 and 1/2 hours in the truck, all to go to the real line and wait another hour and a half. It was very disappointing. Especially being I had 2 friends with me who had never been to a haunted house. Would not recommend this to anyone. Would give a 1/2 star if I could! Like the guy below me said, stay home and watch a movie!

Went Halloween Weekend. The staff and actors were great, especially the really creepy doll named polly. Given all the restraints COVID must of put on them. I was really impressed with how they handled the lines, and flow of traffic through the Haunted House.

My husband and I just left this haunted house and had a great time! So we waited less than 10mins before entering the haunted house, but of course this is dependent on the number of customers there that day. They even gave us the options to either go alone or with a group. We decided to go it alone and OMG, we were rushing to catch up with the group in front of us because we were scared I screamed so much that my throat hurts right now. They did a great job, I will recommend this haunted house to anyone.

Do not buy tickets. It was closed due to weather conditions and I received no notification or information whatsoever informing me even though I was told to enter my phone number and email address. I drove two hours in horrible weather conditions for nothing. Just a reminder everyone tickets are non refundable so just make sure you’re aware when you’re looking out for spooky attractions this season! :)

I love this place! Well thought out, well designed. It gets better every time I go back.

Last night I took some teenagers and they had a blast. They said it was better than the other haunted houses and haunted woods they had been to.

Well done. Lots of different rooms, sets, mechanical + live action horrors, mix of jump scares and other environmental scares. We rushed through and easily spent about 20 minutes. Highly recommend for all ages including adults!

Good for those who have never been to a haunted house b4. Couple of really great parts.

It was so fun, not only it was very scary but they also had entertainment outside while you wait.

Small but better effects than I expected. There are two or three fog zones not recommended for sensitive individuals. I dont think it was worth the 40 dollars for the timed tickets, but it was definitely worth the 25 for general admission.

Most definitely would recommend going with a group of ppl. It was one of the funniest time ever seeing everyone including myself react to everything.

Covid has modified things. The line was long and took a while, but the actual haunted house was very neat. Take at least 2 hours in to account for waiting in line.

Been to a lot of haunted houses some were scary some were not but this by far was the biggest waste of money Ive ever experienced. Showed up Saturday October 16th at around 11:00 p.m. I waited in the ticket line for about 20 minutes and they told me that the line to get into the haunt was about two and a half hours long so we opted for the VIP line which was $40 per ticket and we did not have to wait in line which was good however we were rushed in right after the group before us. there was hardly any live actors the ones they had were not scary at all the costumes and makeup were subpar could have done just a good job at my house with regular makeup the animatronics were weak we were constantly running into the people in front of us the scare factor was null and void and it basically just sucked spend the extra $10 and go to netherworld. Atleast there youll get a quality experience and some good scares.

Was good. I wudnt recomend getting general admission tickets tho. Best to go with VIP cuz boy if I wud have had to wait in that line I wud have left.

Me and my family love this haunted house! I love that the actors actually have a story to act out instead of just screaming at you!. We went to the haunt opening weekend for Halloween and just finished the haunted Christmas Carol! We will be back next year

We were not sure what to expect. We were told that they were the #3 haunted attraction in the USA; we doubted it, for we do not trust most surveys; however, the decor, the set up, the actors, everything was over the top. We had a great time. It was amazingly creepy and it did not have that moldy smell that other places tend to have. Keep up the good work.

The setup was nice not really scary but the thing that was disappointing was not being mad aware of the mud pile at the end that destroyed my party’s shoes

The scares were great and the actors were fantastic. Our group was pretty awesome also. Would definitely travel back to this haunt again next year!!

Good haunted house with good acting and some fun stuff happening. Creepy vibes and interesting rooms. All in all its an 8 out of 10 for me.

The staff was awesome. Best customer service ever. The special effects and spook setup was mind bending scary.The child 8n me was fantastically terrified.

First time coming here this year, and it was wonderful. It’s very scary the staff and actors are wonderful. There is a part in the haunted house that is a bit too scary and confusing but you will get through it. I definitely recommend this place for a great scare. And it’s cheaper than most scare houses which is a plus if you are on a budget

Great haunt! Great scares and misdirection. Elaborate sets and actors that mean business. Not for the faint of heart or full bladders. Very unique compared to other local haunts. Its not something you just walk through, its something you will feel like you survived.

Went on Sun Oct 20, 2019. Showed up early at 8pm when it first opened so no lines. (Went to a pumpkin patch nearby and did the escape woods). There were only two of us and they didn’t group us with other people which was nice! From the animatronics that spoke to you to the actors that made some scenes interactive, everything was top notch! My favorite was the closet room with the coat hangers and the shadow! Highly recommend and would go again!

The characters looked good the rooms looked good but there was absolutely nothing scary about this house. Even though the looks of the character were good they were not entertaining at all, I think they tried to be comical more than scary, another potentially good house gone bad

One of the most unique and completely original haunts I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing, as well as one of the largest . Terrifying and visually elaborate, Containment plays on all of your most deep seeded fears and brings them out in the open, and then tears them to bloody shreds. :D Very realistic animatronics and sets, and actors whom you can tell really love their jobs. Excellent makeup effects as well as costumes and props! Its well worth the drive to Hiram!

Had so much fun! This is by far one of the most scariest haunted houses in ATL. I guarantee you that my heart rate was above 160 bpm. There wasn’t one dull moment in there!!

Unfortunately this review was written late. If it were right after Halloween when i went, i probably wouldve leaned towards 5 stars. Its one of the better haunts in the area. But then Christmas came... and they advertised a christmas themed christmas carol haunted house. Sounds amazing, and it had great potential, but it was so disappointing. IT WAS SO LAZY. Especially since i remembered it from only 2 months ago... they had basically just put santa hats on their halloween stuff and seemed pretty short staffed on scare actors. Even some of the scare actors wore similar costumes with just a christmas sweater or santa hat. I felt cheated and it felt cheap.Go for Halloween!! ... avoid other holidays, for now.

Had accidentally bought tickets for the 6th instead of the 5th of October. When we went to see the Manager, he was very kind and still let us go through. This place was great, all the actors did their job and also, the environment was flawless. I will be coming back!

We screamed. My kid fell. Our first haunted house experience and it was a good one.

Ive been to plenty haunted houses from here to Tennessee and this was one of my favorites. We will return.

I mean EVERYONE... Even the parking attendants were super nice! I got a balloon from Choo Choo that the entire crew tried to pop throughout the house. I had a blast! You guys were A1!!!!! This haunted house blew me away. Im a huge fan of anything dark and spooky and was very impressed! This year (2018) is my second year going and I recommend it highly to everyone I know! Its a REAL scare all the way through and the actors are amazing, not to mention that the staff is exteextre nice and helpful.

Really cool haunted house, the actors did an amazing job given the fact my girlfriend and I went through by ourselves. I think if there was a larger group it could’ve been really neat to see how much fun the actors could’ve had.

Absolutely love it...we go every year but this year my nephew cried so it was worth every penny... Love the new story line the length of the haunted house is awesome cause I have been to some that are so quick and disapointing but containment is not like that at all !! I also loved the interaction the cast has with you. I love the set up this year (not giving away spoilers) but they not only go for scaring you with scary creatures but threw in some mental horrors too. I ABSOLUTELY RATE THIS PLACE A 10

Great props and decor as you walk through. The smoked filled areas are the best. Can’t say this is the best but it sure was fun.

Amazing HAUNTED HOUSE! And i hate haunted houses! I remember when I went last year, all of the actors interacted with us so much. All of the acts and scenes played in there were great. It was a experience I will never forget, ever. The tickets are so worth the money, you wont be disappointed! I cant wait to go back this year and see what they have for us this year
