A great memorial for the men and women of our armed forces. Im glad i took my son to see and we will definitely be back
Very Nice. Lots of names and history to see. Great place to start teaching kids about the sacrifices so many Americans have made. Wish some of the monuments were better updated or taken care of. Its hard in the city to maintain I know. Most we pretty cool.
My kids favorite place
Beautiful Veterans garden. Very peaceful & respectful.
A must see for everyone. Patriotism is represented from many angles in this amazing garden. Situated near a fantastic childrens playground and the Lincoln Childrens Zoo. There is no excuse for not spending the time to reflect on the service and sacrifice of our Veterans. There is even a memorial for the War Dogs!
Beautiful Veterans Memorial. I Walk My Dog Almost Everyday And See This Garden.
Great place to see and feel sacrifice by USA military service members.
Lovely place to come and relax, the city keeps the park well maintained and people are generally respectful of cleaning up after themselves. Also a great place to play Pokemon Go
The Veterans Memorial Garden of Westland is a beautifully landscaped area.It is an honor to view this testament and memorial to the brave and valorous who have fought to defend our nation, our fortunes and, not least, our lives. Each of the major conflicts is noted at this location with accompanying text on the particular monument detailing the monumental deeds and courage of those involved. Included are the Revolutionary War all the way to modern times, including the War of 1812, the War with Mexico, the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, World War 1, World War 2, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Iraq, Afghanistan and others.
This place should be visited at least once a year by every resident of Lincoln/Nebraska. Families should bring children and questions should be encouraged. Without exception each one of us need to remind ourselves of the ultimate sacrifices that have been made so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have.
Always enjoy coming with family and friends. Very nice memorial.
Very interesting to walk around and read the plaques.
A very naturally beautiful area set back inside a huge old City Park (for Lincoln it is considered quite large) called Antelope Park which also has one of the best bike paths i have ever known of and used frequently bcuz the same single path will get all the way east of Lincoln into a very very small but fun town and from my home it will allow you travel all the way through downtown and into the old railroad, now they call it the Haymarket and so many people regularly visit the area go to the best and biggest Farmers market every Saturday during the seasonal months.
This is a very calming place to visit. My boys enjoyed seeing all the memorials and learning about the different branches of the military.
Awesome place to reflect thankfulness to those who sacrificed for our freedom & rights just as our Lord was for our salvation.
The memorial garden and surrounding Antelope park is my favorite park in Lincoln. Its a very popular place for location-based games like Pokemon Go and Wizards Unite, so there are always a good number of people around.
Beautiful lake and playgrounds. Great for families or couples enjoying the view
Very nice, well done. Much larger than expected.
Very pretty well maintained.
Lovely park with plenty of walking paths! Great place to learn about some historical events. There is a public restroom and a fair amount of parking! To top it of there is a nice playground for kids. Overall a nice place to get away for a minute.
Just attended a dedication to honor veterans of war. Bricks of Honor
Beautiful park. Incredible memorial to our veterans.
Great place to go play pokemon go at night
This is a beautiful place to enjoy a sunny afternoon right next to Antelope park.
An awesome tribute to our Veterans. I think from WWI to present.
Serine place to reflect and give thanks to our veterans. The different dedications are written in large lettering making it easy to see which branch of the military or which war the memorial is representing. The walking path is calm and I found it was a good place to teach my son about what our military has done in the past and how he can pay proper respects.
Such a beautiful place to honor our service people
Always enjoy this. Honoring our veterans.
Very beautiful and meaningful. Lots of places to sit and reflect on the past.
Very nice large beautiful park with lots to offer varieties of people
A very pleasant walk through a very historical and meaningful place.
Good to give thanks for those who have given everything
A fantastic memorial to those Nebraskans who have gone above anything anyone could have asked of them. Beautifully maintained memorial with dedications to every branch imaginable and more stones are added as more brave Nebraskans make their ultimate sacrifice.
Beautiful, peaceful spot. Lots of benches and dappled shade
This is a great tribute to Veterans. Always humbling to visit and remeber those who fought so we all can remain free
Nice park..start of paved running trail for many miles.
A quiet place to reflect on lost loved ones and people that fought for what they believed in. GPS game friendly, just be respectful.

Very peaceful. Worth seeing
Peaceful. Great place to honor our veterans.
Great that this has been maintained and improved upon through the years. Ive been to ceremonies here on Veterans Day and Memorial Day and thought the events really enhanced the importance of these days.

Beautifully done, whos ever in charge of the brick displays does an excellent job.
Very nice to see this reminder of what they sacrificed for us and later on in life
A nice open space to run around, and a kids play area to be envied by all adults. Plenty of shelters and spaces to rent out for events, and enough trees to shade you if needed. The Veterans Memorial Garden is a beautifully laid out area, with quiet, dedicated niches in which to reflect and remember. Theres a marker for just about every possible branch, affiliation, and specialty.
Nice quiet little park. Well maintained and clean. Great memorial to veterans!

Great for Pokémon Go!
We had a great church group outing with a fantastic Hispanic band that played. It was a great night.
Beautiful area and a fantastic monument to all those who served. Great area for a walk, and close proximity to Antelope park and the Rock Island bike trail.
Beautiful park to walk through, great scenery historical markers, huge playground for children, bike trail and indoor/ outdoor gathering spaces.
Skateboarding, bicycling or just walk, nice playground, picnic tables and shelters. Nice park.
Very nice area and worth a trip I didnt realize it was there till Pokemon go but it is a beautiful memorial.
I think youre overreaching. Its stupid, wasteful, and mistaken in that I DID NOT GO TO OR EVEN GLANCE AT THE PLACE MENTIONED. GO TO HELL
Everyone in Lincoln, should visit this place. Plenty of places to just sit and think about what these veterans did for us.
Beautiful place..
As a veteran and soldier, it makes me feel good when people actually support our soldiers, both in times of war and peace!
Nice big playground with Open Fields Pavilions and picnic tables got what I expected decent place for an afternoon picnic to let the kids play
It is a nice place to honor veterans
Have you seen the replica of the Liberty Bell in Lincoln, Nebraska? Its worth seeing, even in a rainy day.
We love this is so nice to see 3 generations of your family in the bricks. And to be able to have a place to remember your loved ones. The people that served our county for our fredom that are local is amazing .Thanks for your service and to there loved ones who have lost their family loved ones thanks so much may we have peace knowing that what they did for all of us will never be forgoten!
Wanted to see where the smaller copy of the statue of liberty ended up. I suppose in the memorial garden is a better place for it than where it was last. However seems like the brown color is an odd choice.
Cool place
This is a nice park. The memorial is nice, and the playground is very large. Children could have fun here for many hours!
Good walking
I go to remember the fallen who have given there lives to better our lives

Very well done, thoughtful and surprisingly big in scope.
Great park my kids love it!
Awesome monuments and huge playground. It has lots of great Green space, but like many other parks, has some problems with litter like alcohol bottles and beer cans.
Wonderful tribute to the fallen and wounded who fought for freedom. Dozens of monuments and plaques commemorating them can be seen along walking paths there.
Pretty large playground
This memorial looks better every time I visit!
