The drinks were awesome but they are secondary to the amazing service we received. We arrived just before closing on a night where we were the only customers. Even though they could have easily closed for the night, they remained open and allowed us to have a wonderful night out. Will definitely go back!

Great Place! A former kitchen cabinet showroom makes it a nice space. Really good spirits. And their cocktails are fantastic. If you havent tried this distillery, you should. We will definitely be back.

North Shore Distillery is a long time supporter of the nonprofit I work for, Greenhouse Scholars. They have made custom cocktails for a number of events for YEARS and I dont think weve had the same thing twice. The innovation and creativity is off the charts, and the flavors always exceed expectations. Sonja always brings farm-fresh ingredients from their garden to mix into their one of a kind drinks, and the riders from our annual cycling event always flock to the North Shore Distillery tent knowing theyre mixing up something special and delicious. These spirits are world class and taste like it! Dont miss the chance to visit and try for yourself.

Went on the tour this afternoon with Sonja. Learned a lot and enjoyed everything that we tasted. Will definitely be going back again to try some of the cocktails.

We stopped in randomly at the end of a road trip, and absolutely loved it! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, even teaching us some interesting facts about alcohol related to food allergies which was immensely helpful! The interior is beautiful, and we especially enjoyed the Boozeum which teaches you the histories of various spirits. We will definitely be returning.

What an absolutely incredible hidden gem!!! Beautiful space, and really exceptional quality spirits. Im not generally a fan of vodka, but as the oldest distillery in IL, theyve had plenty of time to get it right, and both the traditional vodka and citrus are delicious. The real treat is the tahitian vanilla vodka, both mixed and straight up. The rum is also super smooth, and aged with very creative flavors. The owners are both welcoming and friendly, and super knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.!

Very modern, spacious bar and distillery. Their spirits are definitely curious - I believe 3 gins, several vodkas, akvavit, absinthe, mustard liqueur, and two rums. Drinks are great (and inventive), and the bartenders are friendly and open to conversation. Also really dig the sustainable-minded ethics behind the business.

Kinda like you are going into someones house and they keep asking how was dinner. Dinner here is good it just doesnt blow you away. The prices for bottles are the same or more then what you find at binnys or other liquor stores for the same products.

This place is quiet with a staff that loves their job. The way they describe flavors used makes you get a feel for the drink before ever tasting it. It is a cozy place with room to spread out

We had the tour with Derek, one of the founders. It was wonderful to hear his passion for his product. It is top notch. Ethel is a beauty and very photogenic. Stay for the drinks as the gin and absinthe are amazing.

Your first time visiting, you may wonder whether your GPS is properly calibrated...but though your surroundings initially appear to be very industrial, rest assured you are in the right place. Once inside, you can enjoy delicious, seasonal cocktails made using North Shores fine spirits, or do a tasting of their different gins and vodkas. The staff will leave you to your group (if that is what you prefer), or may engage you (and other groups who gather) in a game of trivia, as long as you are up for it. You will leave feeling as though youve uncovered a great secret.

Stop by the tasting room here for amazing cocktails made with their own handcrafted spirits. Menu changes seasonally and with spirit availability. The cocktail list is short and sweet, but all of them are delicious in their own way. YUM.

Had a very fun and informative couple of hours here learning from Sonja and tasting their products. Loved the citrus vodka and the absinthe. The Springtime Shrub cocktail was wonderful!
