I reserved lounging chairs in back row. No lounging here. Seats do not have any type of foot rest. I knew they did not have reclining chairs but expected them to be like LazyBoy with kick out foot rest. Service was good. Theater was very empty. Drinks and snacks were great.

I havent been here in about 3 years. I was wondering why the lion king was not sold out on a Friday night.....yikes.... this place need renovations bad. The bathrooms are disgusting and smell like sewage spill. So gross.The staff is amazing and has great service. I am just amazed about how much this place has changed for the worse in 3 years. Unfortunately I will not be back. But the staff is great.

Very dated. Office chairs that were not comfortable need to be replaced due to wear. Seating in theatre 8 odd. Wait staff nice and quick to respond. Movie had no issues but offered no frills. We only ate popcorn and cookies which was fine. For 5 bucks...got what we paid for but hurry...IMO this place will be closing because of the look and amenities.

Super clean....great and friendly and fast service. The food was good...about average priced. Restrooms were well maintained. Not as comfortable as some of the newer locations......plenty of leg room.

My wife and I arrived for late night show on a Sunday, and didnt have to worry about good seats assignment. Unfortunately, the seats were not in the best shape (one point). Moreover, the small screen had two creases/tears towards the middle and were visible as black lines/scratches against bright background (another point). Finally, we ordered cheese fries and brownie sundae; both were yummy and full of calories :-)

Entrance an people were nice. The theater was filled with low end office chairs and the fake pleather was coming off creating a health hazard and science it is a dinner and a movie place this is a bad sighn. Images of the high back recliners in the previews for this theater in there self promotions are nowhere to be found here. Take the time to drive a little further for a cleaner experiance at Denton movie tavern is my takeaway from this. Also during the movie insted of whispering with people ordering as to be as little intrusive as possible on others viewing a waitress near us was trying to talk over the movie insted of healing close and conversing. All in all I will not go back for the price. You cant clean the chairs when they are all pealed and there are few that are not.

We recently went to the studio movie grill. Hadn’t been their in awhile. We we’re very disappointed. The chairs are old, peeling and some of the wheels were broken. It smelt bad, it wasn’t clean. It truly needs to be updated.As far as the food, and service. I have no problem waiting on food. What I do have a problem is waiting and my food arrives cold. Our “appetizer” came after we finished our meal.The servers did a good job. I don’t have a complaint in regards to the service. They did a good job.

Just moved back to the area. Unfortunately my experience was sub-par. It took a while for a waitress to arrive after hitting the button. She took my order. Drink came out quickly. The food took quite a while for a Thursday night with maybe 20 people in the auditorium. When my food arrived I ordered coconut shrimp and chicken combo with a ice cream sundae. They brought me the regular fried shrimp and chicken combo. I advised the waitress that this wasnt correct. She suggested that maybe the deep fryer was different at this location. I advised that one I finished my meal I would hit the button for my dessert. They insisted the would bring it out after I finished my meal. They didnt. Half way through here comes dessert. So now I am rushing to eat a meal not prepped right because my dessert was melting before my eyes. I tipped normally, but will never order food there again.

The service was great. The folks that worked there did a great job. But the theatre itself is run down. We sat in office chairs to watch star wars. Not impressed at all.The food was super fast to arrive but if I am going to be paying $15 for a burger it better be good. The meat tasted like a cheap mcdonalds patty.Overall I would avoid this place and go to the many other options that are within a super short distance drive.

First time here and it was a great time! Had a pitcher of margarita and some pretzel bites with cheese dip. Both were amazing! Seating was comfortable and screen was nice.

Movie theater and seats werent bad, but the food deserves 1 star. The slider burgers were super dry, buns were hard, meat was dry and tasteless, fries were tolerable but you can tell their food isnt made fresh...Im pretty sure its made from frozen. (By the way, I ordered chips and salsa instead of fries, but they gave me fries anyway. I didnt even bother telling them it was wrong once the movie started). My sisters coffee tasted old & awful & when she notified the waitress of the issue, she denied it, didnt apologize, and didnt bother to offer her a different drink...what poor customer service and were very nice people. I wouldnt recommend the food at all. Just stick to nachos and popcorn is probably the safest bet, but I most likely wont go to this theater again.

I really wanted this experience to be a good one. I can always give another chance because of food; however, I tried 3 different chairs and all 3 were in need of repair. To top it off, the chairs DO NOT recline. If youre not comfortable, sitting for 2 hours, Im out!! Invest in new/reclining chairs, raise tix cost to pay for, and Ill be back

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Studio movie grill is amazing in general but the one here is not up to the mark. The seating is strange with odd long tables and office chairs, it doesnt feel like a theatre at all and is not worth the cost of the tickets. Very strange

It was great fun, getting to eat my dinner, while watching the movie! The food was good, but a little expensive for what it was. Of course, snacks at any theater usually are. Its all about the experience, and I will be going again.

Service was great. Very attentive. The manager was super friendly. Wish I would have taken down my servers name. He did s great job and gave my son and I a free bag of popcorn.

The Lewisville location was extremely bad. The theatre was too old fashioned, seating was like an office with desk and chairs, the chairs were all broken and run down ... the while atmosphere was very unpleasant and even though the movie was good did not enjoy because of the ambiance ... would not advise anyone to go to that location ... would give negative grading if I could

Revisited the Movie Studio again with my wife and the Place was smelling good. Last time I was there I gave them a bad review because the place was smelling weird will post pictures of last review.. wanted to come back and Give them a Positive review because they really have changed, again great friendly employees to serving staff everything was great..

Movie and dinner is common and costly affair now a days. After spending that much time and money you want to have a good time.The theater and the customer service is good, but the problem is the aging infrastructure, old style theater and sound system.Stadium seating is the norms in theaters now and that isnt the case here. The food is good but served cold and root beer felt completely diluted, both are surprise factors and unexpected in a dinner in theater like this one.Service is good, courteous and prompt. It would be tough for me to come back to this studio movie grill, unless they upgrade to stadium seating and improve the sound system.

I tried to remain positive throughout this experience. Ill say this... it was clean-ish and our waitress was really nice. First of all ... dont be fooled by their use of lounge chair ... there is no reclining. Not uncomfortable ... just not up to the standard these days. And the burger was legitimately the worst burger Ive had. It was basically charcoal. The fries were really REALLY good tho. Not the best SMG Ive ever been too and Ill not be returning.

I just came from watching Childs Play (10:30PM showing). What a horrible experience. Two guest came to see the movie already inebriated and kept ordering alcohol; and the waiter kept complying. It seemed the guest and the waiter were familiar because at the beginning they said hey buddy, whats up. These two guest talked non stop throughout the film and were on their phones as well. When I went outside to make a complaint (to the same waiter) I was told that they would talk to them. I never saw anyone ask them to quiet down. 3/4 into the movie, I went to ask for a manager because not only had they become more inebriated but even louder. The manager (an older gentleman) said they would talk to them. Somehow these to guest found out that I had made a complaint and at the end of the showing followed us to the exit and called me a b**** and to f*** off, in the presence of my teenage siblings. So yeah, thanks a lot SMG for suck a fantastic time and for your consideration. There should be a limit; on the amount of alcohol drinks someone is able to purchase, especially if the person is drunk.

This is an older theater to where the person who sits in front of you will probably be in the way. The service is terrible. It was not one thing, it was all of them. From it taking 10 minutes from when we hot the buzzer and no one else was in there, to missing an entree to which he sayssorry... What do you want now?, To it taking 20 minutes to make it (a salad), to the burgers coming out cold to asking 4 times for silverware.... We wont be back.

I love it here. This location was the first time I discovered dinner and movie loved it every since.

Its not a bad place. Service is good. Food pricing is what u would expect. The loss of 2 stars is due to horrible seating. Cheap office chairs with little padding. I want to be comfortable watching a 2 hr movie and, sadly, I was not. Doubt Ill return.

First, the movie started late. There was nothing on the screen until 10 min after, which is weird. Then, they had the ac off until we said something. And the food was terrible. The popcorn was dripping butter, the chicken tenders had a bad texture and breading fell off instantly. Also the seats are uncomfortable.The staff was nice but management needs to step it up.I will not be coming here again.

It wasnt great but ok. Food so so. Pricey. Says they have recliners but theyre office chairs well worn. Comfy enough... Kids mostly working and the service was good but they arent too busy cleaning! Couldnt find a showtime with seating in the back at other locations so we came here. I was pretty happy for the convenience of getting our popcorn and drinks brought to our seats meaning I didnt miss even the previews.

We come out every Tuesday night with the kids today we had a off day at work and came out and was greeted and taken care by Brandon the server super nice professional maybe they dont have recliners but good food and service we love it thx

The seats we got were in poor repair. We basically got office chairs that were in worse condition than a college students hand-me-down office chair. The covering was peeling off and the cloth underneath was exposed. It made the entire place feel gross and unsanitary. The restrooms were also in poor repair. I couldnt roll the toilet paper off the reel and I later found the reason was because the paper was just hanging there incorrectly. I left saying, I didnt like the seats. Lets never come here again. Lets go to Alamo Drafthouse next time.

It had a weird smell when you first walk in. The chairs dont recline!! But the tickets were cheap, the chairs were comfy and the food and service was amazing!!! We had a great experience

Talk about being set up for failure. I left before the previews. The chairs were desk chairs... desk chairs.. Like the ones from the office Pam’s always complaining about. Okay, and it was hot like 78. But whatever I’ll live. The bad part (yes it gets worse than desk chairs) is there was a HOLE in the screen.. I’m going to see lion king and there is a HOLE in the screen!?!? I’m out. Staff was nice. They should quit. This place should not exist. I never write reviews but this place has way to many stars. Anything more than one is a lie.

The theater was clean and nice. The staff was polite. The expensive food was horrible, with rubbery chicken and freezer-burned ice cream.

Food is okay, the staff is really amazing though. The only issue is that sometimes it is not cleaned prior before the movie. I one time saw a half eaten candy bar melted on the seat I was supposed to sit in. Other than that its a decent place to be at.

If you can get past the nasty restrooms, and smell if raw sewage in the hallways, the luxury recliners that shouldve been replaced 2yrs ago wont bother you. The service was deplorable. I didnt receive my food order. First on my row to order and pay. 15 min after the other guests in my row received food, I asked to cancel order. Miraculously, it appeared 2min later! But then only 1/2 of the order. Of course it was complimentary, but i still sent it back. Worse experience at SMG ever!

My wedge salad was fine, but both people who had burgers said they were way overcooked and dry.Also, we had to watch the movie in office chairs!!! We were uncomfotable, and our behinds were numb when we got up.The people and wait staff are great though!

This was our first time here. Food was so-so. $50 for the 2/$28, 2 drinks and cookies. Hamburger was way over cooked pizza was ok. Place seemed fairly clean. Seats in theater 9 were cushioned office chairs. Staff was very nice and courteous. Just felt like it was way over prices for mediocre food.

What they say about the ambiance of this place is true. The inside of this theater smells, my eyes were burning. The seating arrangement is not what I’ve come to expect from SMG theaters. Office chairs with a small table/desk is unacceptable. This place can use some updating. I ended up getting a refund and going to an AMC. Based on the inside I can’t trust the kitchen

It is hard to believe this place can remain open. The theaters have office like tables and mismatched office chairs for seats. Sewer smell at the counter when we bought our tickets. Theater set up was so poor, we actually thought it was a joke. Got a refund and left. Go see for yourself or if you want to go see a movie there are plenty of options in the area.

Waiter was cool but non responsive..ordered the 2/$28 and my chips were burnt/extra crispy, they forgot the cookies I wanted at the end even though I ordered everything up front, my pizza was good though.

If going just to watch just the movie it’s ok, seats are uncomfortable and don’t adjust. What we were most unhappy about was what a rip-off on our $5o of food. Not worth it at all. chips came with a thimble of salsa, even if you don’t dip you ran out and they told us that’s all we could get. So with our two baskets of chips we still have both more than half full. French fries also came with a thimble of katchup and that is all you will get. Drinks were flat, told basically o-well. Food here is not worth wasting your hard earned $$. Go to Grapevine Mall theatre more for your money all the way around.

I should have read the reviews before going. Im still wondering who thought office chairs would be a good idea. And cheap office chairs at that, so little padding. The food was okay, the drinks are wayyyyy over priced. $12 for a single Jamesons Irish, Ive paid less than that at bars in Uptown Dallas.The sad thing is every bad review is answered the same exact way. Obviously they dont care. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

Still in the middle on this one. Employees are nice and do a fine job, just not sure on the seating layout and chairs. Foods still kind of in the middle. Not great not bad. I’m sure we’ll be back since it’s a common place to go see a movie. The movies are projected well and audio is great so at least you’re good there.

Enjoyed myself.. Theatre was small and intimate so glad it wasnt packed.

Ticket prices in my opinion are 9/10, service would be like 8/10, comfort would be about a 4/10, design layout would maybe be 5/10. The seating and tables made it so where the workers have plenty of room (which is great) but the people sitting in front of me made it difficult to see because they were on the same level as me, not lower than me at all. The chairs and tables kinda suck as well, as I was touching elbows with 1 person next to me and had no room to scoot away thanks to the other.

Came here for Valentines Days and had a nice time. It was running efficiently and quickly for a holiday which took me by surprise. Our server, Bianca, was quick and great. We needed extra sauce in the middle of the movie and she brought it out quickly. The only downside was the seats were old and not very comfortable.

Ew...this is not what Im used to for a studio movie grill. Seating is not like the regular ones. This was office chairs and tables. The food was good but just getting a napkin seemed like a big feat (I never got one). The bathrooms are disgusting. Not what I thought when we planned to come here....

Have been to a few SMG locations in the area. Based on personal experience, I know that Lewisville isnt great, but we wont be going back. Only went this time because it was closest to our sitter. Service was inconsistent. A couple people were good, but others didnt seem to want to be bothered. The margarita was super sweet/all mix (I couldnt finish it). If you want a table the seats are run down swivel desk chairs. Guarantee they havent been replaced since I took note of that in my first visit in 2012. Save your disappointment & go to any other location.

Only reason I didn’t rate it perfect is because the seating could be more comfortable. It’s always close to empty when I come, but I mostly come Tuesday afternoon for the special pricing. The food is decent too and the wait staff is pretty decent too

Will never come back to this place. It’s filthy, the counters that you sit at are sticky. It feels like I’m sitting in a college class not a movie theater. I don’t want to sit at a long desk and in an office roll chair for a movie. I thought this places would similar to movie house and eatery or the grapevine eatery movie theater. I will never ever come back to this place. This place sucks!

Went to see a movie last night and got there before previews were over and the doors were locked. The lady opened the door and said she couldnt sell us a ticket at that time. Very upset as we always catch late showings in the colony and there is never an issue. This place also needs renovations. Very uncomfortable seating as its office chairs. If you want the quality for what this places charges i highly recommend the colony location. Its much nicer

Do not recommend for kids . Very uncomfortable! Poor screen quality. Most of the restrooms out of order and the ones that were in order were not clean at all . Although the staff was great! Should really consider some remodeling!!!!

This location needs a major upgrade or it nerds to close. Sinks in the womens restroom taped ip not working. Movie theater is shabby, dirty and dingy. Chairs are old and uncomfortable. Chicken bones on the floor, disgusting. Im here to see the Lion King and I will not be ordering food or drinks and Im starving! I do NOT recommend this location.

Im all for a cheap movie theatre but this Studio lacks in many things compared to the other Studio Movie Grills not too far away. They need to major upgrades. The place is just really run down.

Came here to watch Endgame. Tickets were very reasonably priced - $7/seat. And the food came out very fast. We ordered a pretzel bites appetizer to share and I had a burger. The pretzel bites tasted stale and cheese sauce was not warm. The burger was room temp and aside from bbq sauce on it didn’t have much flavor. The leather seats were cracking/peeling and could use a refresh. And all seating was same level, not stadium style. so you were looking over the head of the row in front. All in all I’m glad to have seen Endgame but would probably not go back

Went to see the 9pm Avengers movie which was great but the experience was terrible.-theatre was about 85 degrees inside the auditorium and 70 on the outside. It was HOT and stuffy the entire time, and it was a 3 hour movie.-food was precooked and must of been under a heat lamp. Got it two minutes after I ordered it so it was already made and was just sitting out. Tasted gross and dry.-AND BY FAR THE WORST there was a big 3 inch by 1 inch floating plastic in my drink. I was eating ice to stay cool and I almost choked when I got the piece of plastic in my mouth. How does that even happen? Do they even wash out their glasses before reusing them?Very disappointed.

Wasnt in the best shape (more of a problem for the higher ups, to supply new chairs and such) but the waitress and most of the staff were very sweet and efficient. Food was also fresh and tasty

I enjoy coming here but the last time i was here i never got my change i had to go out and ask a manager for it. We could tell our server didnt want to be there let alone wait on us...tonight we never got our drinks until after our food arrived....only because we asked for them. Food was also cold.

We really enjoyed this place. I brought a friend, 2, 6 and 8 year old here: we had a blast. Food was great! I got pretzels with queso and jalapeño ranch! Stella draft and pickle popcorn! Was so good! We sat at the chairs with the tray. Perfect for the kids. I noticed the tables would be our last pick. The bar option was good though. Food price for kids was high and so was the candy... 6$? Crazy. The pretzels 7$ ... movie tickets 5$ because it was a Tuesday and my beer was 5$. Service was very quick/ clean.

Went to this location years ago and watched mowgli with some family and ate there during the film and got horribly ill only hours later. decided to go back after a friend convinced me so i saw it chapter 2 at 9:15pm yesterday and ate the chicken tenders that in total they charged me 51.96 for me and two friends to eat the same and we all got sick around 5am after the showing. i will not ever suggest this place for anyone and actually i will strongly advise anyone and everyone not to EVER go to this location or any other. as far as im concerned this place is beyond overpriced and obviously a health hazard.

This management team has really got this place running wonderfully. The theater is really clean, the staff very very friendly and prompt. The kitchen consistently delivers top notch food. My favorite dine in theater.

Always a toss up on the food, sometimes amazing, sometimes fast food quality. This theater is one of the first they made and is in need of refurbishment. Though it is usually not packed, and the staff is nice.

I wasnt even greeted when entering into the building. I walked over to the self-kiosk to scan/print out the tickets that I purchased online. I asked an employee if she needed to verify my tickets, she shook her head no and told me to just go ahead, giving me the okay to head to the back. When entering into the theatre, I noticed tons of old, worn down, disgusting office chairs as our seating. (Picture included) I was in disbelief, my kids kept telling me for the first 10 minutes of how uncomfortable the chairs were. We stared at a black screen until it suddenly powered on at 11:05 (mind you the movie was suppose to start at 11) we then had to watch the previews, therefore the movie didnt actually start until about 11:20. I cant say we will likely return to this location. This location definitely needs some assistance!!

We enjoyed the movie but not the theater. Our first time at Studio Movie Grill. We felt the food was too expensive, the food was not that great, the burgers were burnt, the seatbacks were low so we were wishing for a headrest and we were uncomfortable.

Absolutely disgusting theater. The restroom sinks are almost all out of order. Has a bucket under one to catch water. Seats are ripped and Sicky. The dont wash the tables after each movie. I wish I could give it zero stars. The whole place stinks of toilet water. I dont eat anywhere with dirty restrooms.

Same issues every time you come. Slow service usually takes about 40 minutes into the movie before your food comes or the food might not show up and you’ll have to run up and find out what’s going on.Then they’ll bring the food out and it’s wrong. We always go back and it’s the same problem time after time. Headed to movie eatery next time.

I enjoy coming here to see movies. Yes, its an older Studio Movie Grill but the food and the service are always great. I have been this a number ok f times and I have never been disappointed. This was my first time here and this theater has their stuff together! It was very clean and the Cashier Brooke was so helpful in finding my SMG account info for me. The Servers were on top of of their game. I love great Customer Service.

Very friendly staff. Good matinee prices. Food is ok, and can get expensive quick, which is no different from any other dinner-and-a-movie establishment. Seating needs remodeling, though. There are some new, but many of the seats have a LOT of peeling. So doesnt give a very clean feeling.

Good dinner with drinks. Nice ambience. Reasonably priced tickets. Not very cheap food. Uncomfortable seats - we changed ours to the desk chairs which were much better.

SMG is killing it! If you want quick and quiet service, hot and fresh, well cooked food. Then youve come to the right place. The prices are reasonable for a date night, or anytime. The best part? You dont have to worry about timing the end of dinner before your movie time, or worrying about wait times at a near-by restaurant after your favorite new release. Each theater has a good screen and ample sound. There are no bad seats here. Need a refill? Hit the button. Need a dessert? Hit the button. Their wait staff wont interrupt your enjoyment of the movie, or those around you. 10/10 will be coming here again!

I usually dont post reviews but after our experience here last night I have to. We went to see the Lion King at the 6:30 showing. We ordered food and when our meal did arrive it was completely wrong. I couldnt finish the sliders they were so over cooked. I asked for my drink 3 times all different waiters because our original one never came back by. When they FINALLY brought it I was done with my food. They never took our plates or trash away or offered a refill the ENTIRE two hour movie. When we got our bill half of the peoples ordered next to us was on our recipet and they over charged us for $30 worth of charges we never ordered ON TOP of theirs. We had to wait 30 minutes after the movie for them to get our receipt right it took THREE attempts. The chairs are old and terrible. The movie was great but its such a disapointment to myself and family that Studio Movie Grill took away a great experience with how poor the service and staff was.

Nice clean place. Good food and bar scene. Jordon at the bar makes excellent drinks and has perfect conversation for his customers. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I can recommend this establishment.

The chairs are old office chairs with a stationary table in front of you, the floor was very sticky, and the place smelled awful. We didnt even stay for the movie because we questioned how the food would be. We love Studio Movie Grill but we will not be back to this location.

Its an ok place and the staff is really nice, they just need to update/upgrade those horrible looking and feeling seating. The screen seems dated or they need to upgrade the projector. Very very good intentions just missed the mark though.

I would have given a 5 star rating because this is where I see all of my movies, but the unorganized staff they had tonight during Spiderman Far From home was a mess. They allowed seats to be mixed up I let that slide. However they had no idea who ordered what. They tried to give me other peoples food at least 4 times, drinks were wrong 3 times and the bill once. It was a complete mess this is going on while the movie it playing! They dont even try to kneel down to not impede peoples view of the screen. It was bad enough I sat next to some chatty young men who couldnt hold it together during a kissing scene which wouldnt have been the case had I been sitting in the correct seat! I have to see this movie again because of all of the distractions caused by the staff.

Dont waste your money on this place. We booked our tickets online and picked the lounge chairs but when we got there all of the seats were these old computer chairs and the tables looked like they were made in a high school shop class. I just dont understand why they would offer you different seating options if there is only one. I feel cheated. The chairs were so uncomfortable that we couldnt even make it through the movie.

Janky is the only word I can give this place. Literally old beat up rolling office chairs and wonky tables. Service is slow. Process not that good for the cheapness of everything. Wont go back. I had to fix my own table so that it wouldnt to everything into my lap.

Great place for a meal and a movie. This trip for Endgame was a little hectic. I ordered an appetizer and food and asked that the appetizer be delivered first and to wait in the food, but it all came at the same time before the movie.

This is not a normal studio movie grill. It is basically 50 computer chairs at a bar in a big room. I did not order the food. Would not recommend this one.
