First time visit and was impressed! Lovely walk around the pond enjoying the lights. Plenty of photo opportunities

Its a great park -- one of our favorites! Theres tons of places to run and play. We love the pond area in ALL seasons. The lights during Christmastime are awesome. We also loved the geocaches that are hidden in the park!

The Christmas lights are awesome. Love to come here for a walk, or picnic/sit in the park. One of my favorite night walking spots as it is super quiet and peaceful, and even more so when the fountain turns off.

Great playground and nice walking path. If you like Pokémon Go there are multiple gyms and spinners.

Calm and breezy humid day. .. wedding going on in the gazebo...my Maltese thinks this heaven is her personal playground. She loves to explore the edge of the pond.

Awesome park, I have been going there for years they have expand it there is lake and benches to sit.huge children play area it has been remodeled again. Its beautiful place to relax and walk. I love it. Thanks to Lenexa city.

Cute park with a big play ground and a little play ground. Also has a lake with walking trail and many shelters and picnic tables. A really nice park in which to spend a warm October afternoon

This place has skate park, tennis courts, basketball, swimming pool club and long trail with disc golf course . If you are staying close by, then its one stop for spending time with family friends or loved ones. Definitely need to pay a visit

Really lovely park hidden within the city. It has a skate park, water park, playgrounds, a pond and a stream. The walking trail is very well paved and maintained. There is a community garden that anyone can stroll through to check out the pollinators and other creatures visiting the plants. The pond is really peaceful to sit and watch.

Gorgeous park with areas for kids of all ages. My 3 & 1 year old absolutely loved it. Highly recommend.

My family and I love this park. We always go around the trail and enjoy the sites. My two year old especially loves the playgrounds and we always have a hard time when it’s time to go home. The gazebo is super big and spacious enough if you have a party or friends get together.

Super nice park! Well maintained and they also have lots of fun events for adults and children. Hope they continue to host festivals and events. Also little hidden gem on the park is the coffee shop in the foundry church.

Great park with alot of activities to do outside! Tennis, basketball, roller skating rink, and a large skatepark plus very kid friendly.

The Friday after Thanksgiving weekend the turn on the Christmas lights its always a great time with free Cocoa and Cookies. Great free family fun!

It is such a fun place to be active. Fishing, bike riding,, skate board park, or simply go for a quiet walk on the path,, or off path trails too.. But its equally a place one can easily find a quiet, peaceful place to read, rest, or people watch. This is one of my favorite places to take pictures of all kinds.

This park is very pretty. The landscaping, barn, sculptures even the playground is aesthetically pleasing. The pond is well maintained but as would be expected the fish are very small. But boy there sure are lots of them. It also gets pretty darn busy but it is nice to see people taking advantage of public space. This park is ideal for an outing with the family. The little ones wont get bored fishing because of the incessant, nagging bites of small sunfish and they can also play on the equipment and get some time to socialize. The parents might even get to relax or spend a little time socializing themselves. This park hits all of the notes it wanted to and more. I would suggest checking it out for sure.

Pretty setting where you can relax in nature with shady trees and water views. Nice activity with family or friends during quarantine with 6ft distancing easily maintained.

Beautiful small park with a pond. Several short trails. Picnic tables and benches. Gazebo. Shelter. Wonderful playground. People fish here at times. At one end, there is a skateboard park. Parking available.

This is one of the best playgrounds in the Kansas City area. My kids are entertained and happy to play for hours whenever we spend time at this park. Also the fact that shade, drinking fountains, and bathrooms are readily accessible make this park a good choice even during the “dog days” of summer.

I visited this Park in Lenexa today with my relatives across the United States for my Grandma, Jean Cramers birthday today to eat lunch at noon today.I didnt take any photos of this Park when I was there but if youre interested in going to this Park in the future, Id really recommend going to this Park in Lenexa, KS in the future!

Fabulous park. Lots of improvements. Not overly crowded. Only 2 tennis courts, but not busy.

Very clean park, awesome tennis court and 9 whole disc golf course with enough cover to make it fun even though its got short distances. Love coming here!

This park is amazingly beautiful in any weather! During spring and summer you have gorgeous water, amazing colors from all the blooming flowers, the fish and turtles in the lake are fun to watch, and the path is a great source of entertaining exercise. During the fall you have all the fall colors and leaves and during winter you get all the awesome lights! Year round you can catch pokemon, visit pokemon gyms and pokestops, play on the brand new playground, have picnics at the many tables, and really just have a blast!

There’s lots to do at this park! Amenities include a skate park, large pool with slides, two playgrounds, trails, a fishing pond, tennis courts, and a small barn museum. One playground was closed when we went, but the open one was very nice and new, lots to climb on and slide down!

Nice, clean, perfect for dog walking, someone was having a wedding there during our afternoon walk.

This park has a lot of amenities including a pool, skateboard park, playgrounds for kids and toddlers, a pond, picnic areas and lots of walking trials. The park could use a bit more shade.

Went for the disc golf, and ended up also enjoying a short hike on the park trails. Idyllic suburbia is alive and well in this part of KC.

Tidy, aesthetic, lots of different sights to see as you walk through. The stretch between the dragon and the pagoda is a bit bracing if the sun is hitting particularly hard that day, but otherwise its excellent. The shelters are excellent and bathrooms are available in 2 central locations, as well as water fountains for you and your dog.The playgrounds are varied and the newer one makes me jealous of the little kids having such a cool rig to explore.Many pokestops for those of you interested in that, but sadly, its a frequent stop for spoofers. #TheWorkContinues.

Beautiful park! Lots of different areas for activities. The lake has plenty of seating spots dispersed around the walking trail.

This park has it all. Walking trail, pond, jungle gym, picnic tables, benches, shelters and trees to climb.

Great little disc golf course but they need to put hole 3 back. Bball and newly renovated tennis courts also

The trail itself is nice with the water features and its not too long but just long enough for a nice little walk. We went for the Haunted Trail and it was a blast. The entertainers were great for my daughter and she enjoyed the haunted attractions and face painting and balloon artist she also love the musician and the hayride. It was free and she also had a whole bunch of candy she had a good time.

Gorgeous park! I came here two weeks ago for the Christmas lights display and my niece enjoyed herself. It wasn’t too cold that day either. It’s a wonderful place to bring your family. I’ll be going back in just a few days.

Really impressed by this lovely little Park. Super nice amenities, Peter and lights at the pavilions, nice playgrounds and lake with s pleasant paved walking trail around it. Next time we need a space like this well be back!

This is a very pleasant park...i had a evening dinner picnic under the shelter with a friend and it was a very pleasant experience.

Nice 9 hole disc golf course and just all around clean and not overpopulated.

We enjoy this park, theres so much to do, there is tons of space and great playgrounds. On the west side youll find Legler Barn Museum and Lenexa Roses Pond which is fun to see its trees all lit up in incredible fashion from December into January

Nice restrooms, water fountains (even for your pets!) Amazing playground with endless fun and new equipmemt Ive only seen here in this area! The design is incrediable, fake grass ground under play area, built by an engineer who emphasized saftey because the slides and such have nets so your young child cant fall of the structure . walking trails full of shade, pond with stepping stones out to the middle with a dragon statue . kids love it.. Used to have a scateboard area...not sire if ita still there..shade and plenty of places to sit along the wall surrounding the playground. Its the best outdoor playground ive been too yet. And on Christmas its so beautiful as it attacts many vistors for the amazing view.

Such a beautiful park, with a nice pond to walk around! It also has a cute little play ground for children, and some enclosure areas if you want to have a party! This is a wonderful place to visit any time of the year, and from time to time there are even concerts! The trail is relatively small, but it is perfect for a morning jog. The area is also very well kept, and they just finished seeding for new grass.

This is more than just a neighborhood park, sprawling over acres and acres of beautifully maintained public space with a days worth of activity in one spot. Whole family can enjoy the amenities, host parties in huge pavilions, ride bikes around the pond and trail, poolside chillin and its never too late to start skateboarding at this novice-friendly park :) the newly-renovated jungle gym (#2) is almost finished and looks like a blast for the kiddos.

Well Maintained, We go here alot to walk and Pokemon hunt. At night it can use more lighting around playground it is very dark and hard to see closer to 10pm so take a flashlight.

Very nice, plenty of tables to sit and relax. Quiet, beautiful park.
