Stay with me for a second....I remember being in my senior year of high school and standing in line with my cousin at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood. The movie was Batman (the first one) and the energy was electric. It was a cultural moment for movies. The collective excitement made the movie that much better.I have similar memories with Megaplex. Jordan Commons was ahead of the curve when it opened. Spectacle, great food, great seating and excellent service. This year feels like a genuine threat to the movie theater experience and I go through really emotional moments worried that it will disappear. You can’t replace the thrill of seeing a movie in a packed theater and having a collective cultural experience with your community.Thanksgiving Point is now my favorite in the chain. Great service and I just like the intimate feel to the theaters. Feels like a throw back to the multiplexes of the 90’s and the movie theater I worked at in high school (United Artists).Let’s hope for the best everyone. Go see a movie when things get back to normal. The movie theater system is worth saving.

CV19 protocols in place & enforced.no exceptions to wearing masks. Very clean with sanitizer & wipes at every theater door. Theater restricts the number of patrons inside AND you must buy your tickets online or mobile app ONLY. Masks mandatory. Its a $1.00 charge if you forget your mask & yes they will ask you to buy one. Overall impressive theater from a service & architectural perspective. Cannot beat the price on Tuesday for $5.00 to see all the classics

Ugh, It was ok. I understand that the movies are doing their best to keep a normalcy during this pandemic.... but I feel like its over priced and I wish they had outlets available for people ( like myself) who have portable oxygen concentrators and too big of a family to sit in the Handicapped space

Its a nice theater and all but the amount of ads and previews before the movies is out of control. Its 45 minutes to an hour before the movie even starts. The parking lots kind of small but other then that, pretty good theater overall.

Masks required.. not suggested, not recommended. Required. Not to mention last visit we couldnt use the bathroom... And the CEO message is absolutely painful to sit through.

I always love going here. $5 movies on Tuesdays, great value. I havent gone to a movie theatre in months, it was great to go again.

This is our go-to theater. We have their popcorn bucket and refillable soda cup, so it’s nice to be able to load up without spending a fortune. $5 Tuesday’s is awesome, and they have a popcorn special on Tuesday’s too, which is worth it. Never had any issues with this theater.

I was denied service for not owning a mask. And then they tried to force me to buy one.If you want to make me wear a mask from the entry to the auditorium for whatever sense that makes, then you should provide it at no charge.I lost the $15 I paid through atom tickets, and ruined my evening.I wont ever be back. I recommended you guys always, and implored other people to go to the theaters. I wont anymore. I wish I could get a refund on the annual popcorn tub and 3 mugs I bought, and I will be canceling my megaplex monthly subscription. I hope it was worth the 25¢ mask that you require but wont even give away to go with your rules

Dude what an awesome theatre, this place has the best concept and design for a movie theatre. Purchased tickets for super cheap since it was still early morning time. Barley anyone was up, we practically had the place to ourselves. From entrance to seat the layout was awesome, I really thought the kiosk in the front was super easy to use and the was several to choose from, my cousin had refillable drink and popcorn containers, what a smart idea. The self serve drinks stations are those new coke machines that serve almost everything but liquor. Kids behind the counter was like “do you like you butter layered” i was like heck yeah i do and lots of salt. The sweetest thing about concession stand was it was a back to back stand, people could be served on both sides of the popcorn machine. Would like to note although we didn’t try it due to such an early show but they serve Pizza Hut personal pizzas. Hooray!!!!! Seating....Seats had this sweet setup, just bummed they did not recline, but thats okay. The seats had a sweet stadium style setup, kinda like the top of the stadium at Petco and still plenty of leg room. Well I will definitely recommend this place to anyone in Utah we had no issues whatsoever and the bathrooms, kept in clean order.

We took out entire family to Little Rascals. We rented an entire theater.They did their very best to make our family experience great. Very clean as well. Tons of popcorn!!! Great comfortable seats.

I was very happy to be back in a theater. They are very friendly and taking care of following safety guidelines. The luxury seats are very comfortable.

This gigantic tub of popcorn costs only $3 to refill each time you go. They have an annual tub that you pay $20-$25 for.We really enjoy seeing movies here and they have tons of people working concessions to get everyone to the theater.Beware though of ordering actual food like pizzas etc - it’s takes FOREVER to come out

This is my favorite movie theatre. They run all the current movies and top quality films. They have great concessions and although you pay theatre prices, they arent gouging. The have a marvelous VIP theatre, where you can order food and have it delivered to your seat, for an additional price. They have luxury seats in many of the screens, and stadium seating in all. They have a monthly membership, giving you tickets for movies and discounts on food, all for a regular monthly fee (at discounted rates).

This is a very nice theater with many screens. We sat in the luxury seats which are great recliners and have built in heat for your back. It was clean and comfortable. I did miss food options that the other Megaplex theaters have. I saw the main concessions and there is a counter for other foods, but I did not take the time to look at their menu. Overall a great experience.

I showed up at the last minute on a spur of the moment date. They were super accommodating and helpful. The date went great, in large part thanks to their excellent service! Theyve won a loyal patron.

This theater is not quite as nice as some of the newer theaters, but is still a great place to take a family to a movie. The concessions are good, the theaters are clean and the tickets are fairly priced. Go on a Tuesday to see a $5 movie. Wish they had recliner seats though. Maybe in the future.

This is one of the better theaters in the area. They have a large number of screens and seats. I have been able to find seats here when other theaters are sold out which has been great. They also have a good food selection and the service is good.

This Megaplex has a variety of food options at the snack bar. While having large screens, the seats are quite some distance from the screen. With large rows, this means something in row 4(or row D as they use letters) is actually pretty far from the screen. Some people might like this, some dont so just FYI. Also you have to pay to upgrade seat, some other theaters this is standard.The ticket prices are higher then most places but the concessions price is pretty reasonable for a movie theater at least.It does have Imax, which understandably is worth the premium price.Sound in the theaters is top notch with excellent bass.

We love this theater! Roomy auditoriums and good food. Love the choose your own pop machines. Always clean. Appreciate the quick service with the concessions.

Clean, fun, happy environment with cheerful staff. Ate delightful Dole whip and sweet pork salad during my movie. Will return to frequent this theatre again.

Megaplex Theaters are done right. Love their rewards programs. Love their seating options. I will NOT tell you the best place to sit because nobody sits where we sit, and its the best. But these guys do movies right.

My all time favorite movie theatre. Great selection of snacks/food and I love the luxury armchairs, they dont put your neck at a weird angle like some other competitors out there.

One complaint... parking during peek hours!!! Lot is full. Always an issue here. Otherwise, a typically great theater in Utah. LHM theaters are awesome with reserved stadium seating and beyond the cliche popcorn and soda movie treats.Looking forward to trying the VIP theater which has a lounge and wait service for select movies.GREAT customer experience with Jason at ticket sales. Military discount was exceptional.

Megaplex came out with an app. It was so great. They tracked your points, let you know what you could use it for, you could buy tickets on the app. and have your tickets on your phone. Sooo good. Then, they recently started charging a fee to buy tickets in the app. Nope. Can’t support that. There are other theaters to choose from.

If you like going to movies and can go during the day this is the place to go. Especially on $5 Tuesdays. You can get the Luxury seating for only $5. We buy the refill bucket every year and have a refill soda cup. The points you earn pay for popcorn, tickets, etc when you collect them. It is really busy in the evenings.

Great movie theater! Love the big theaters and seats that give you plenty of room. The food isnt bad either for a movie theater. This is our go to movie theater.

I love Megaplex Theaters and this one is just a bonus to be close to my house. They are always clean and their $5 Tuesdays are incredible. Love the food they offer and the whole experience from start to finish. Automated ticket dispensers for either buying at the theater or printing tickets youve already purchased online as well as a person physically at the counter should you desire that. Butter dispensers for popcorn or really anything if you enjoy butter on something else I guess. Highly recommend a Megaplex theater should you decide to go to the movies.

This is a very nice theater. The seats are nice, the popcorn is yummy. I go here all the time to watch movies (about once a week).

This is an amazing movie theater. Nice and spacious with a very attentive and helpful staff. The options for food and the prices would make me want to keep coming back. Its also very clean and the fact that theres different options for seats is great. I havent been to a theater that has general seats and VIP seats in the same screening. This place pretty much has everything you could want in a cinema

RIP the quality this place once was. Understaffed. The few employees that were present were rude to us and other patrons. Not interested to return for a long while.

Popcorn tasted a bit burnt, but otherwise good concessions. I wish I didnt have to go all the way out to the far lobby to refill a drink when I pass 2 concessions counters on the way there.

Just before leaving for a date night to the movies for which we had purchased tickets, our 4 year old cut himself and we had to take him to get stitches. My husband called the theater and they gave us passes to use another time. They didnt have to, but they did. So nice.

These are a few things I really like about this theater. 1. Very large curved screen with great picture. 2. Great sound. 3. Nice seats. They have a few recliners if you want that. 4. Real food brought to your seat on a covered plate. 5. Clean and well run.

I saw Midway here and it was way too loud.

Nice theater, very pricey

Some of the theaters have the comfy lounge seating but not many. There are a lot of theaters so you have a large number of options. But the food court if great and you have an infinite number of drink options. There is also a cookie dough dispenser and it is awesome. It is a little expensive but not bad.

I dont know what it is but it seems like Megaplex always has the best popcorn! Ill never understand why they waste so much popcorn leaving a sea of buttery goodness on the ground. Anyways, I really enjoy the luxury seating at this specific megaplex because it seems to be the most roomy and up to date. It has nice warming features and you can adjust it to your liking. I love the $5 Tuesdays and the rewards points which we use a lot. They only thing we have left to do is get the megaplex pass.

I went and saw JoJo rabbit at 10:30 pm on Saturday night. It was a really good movie! I recommend. I also really appreciated the fact that they had a 10:30 pm showing of it

I took my girls to see a movie here a couple weeks ago, and its a very popular place. The theater itself is huge! Its so big and open when you first walk in, the ceiling is so high up it just looks massive and very impressive. The walk to each theater is long...compared to all the others. But there are a lot of theaters inside and the walk to some can definitely help get your steps in for the day!This theater is a bit more expensive then a lot of the others we go to; for both tickets and concessions. The biggest disappointment for us was that with the higher prices one would think all their rooms would have the lazy boy chairs.

I really love the Thanksgiving point location. I do wish that the kiosks would work so I wouldnt have to keep standing in line for the service desk. It was so sweet when they were new. Love the food Court and theater rooms.

Busiest movie theater in the US I’m pretty sure. If you want to go to a movie theatre here, plan ahead!! It’s a nice theater, lots of seating but very, very busy.

Great parking. Huge Screen and sound was amazing. Lots of variety with the food concessions. They need to upgrade their seats to keep up with Amc and Univ Mall. Seats were old school which was a bit surprising yet the cost of the ticket seemed alittle more than the other theaters.

Theater is pretty much cookie cutter to the rest of Megaplex products. Which is nice because you know what to expect. They asked if we wanted the last two luxury seats and we said yes. They then gave us regular seat and basically told us to bad. The customer service part if that was disappointing.

The employees where very friendly and helpful. They directed us exactly where we needed to go. And help get us our food as well. A fun place to hangout with friends and family. I saw knives out

Awesome place to watch the movies, it’s also near the highway, very convenient! There’s also a dinosaur museum nearby, great activity day for the family.

Good food, kind workers, happy environment. Foods a tad bit pricey, but what can you do for a movie theater, it comes with the territory. Theaters are usually a little chillier than I like, however Im just sensitive to temperature so I doubt most people would mind.

Theaters are nice but the food options are sparce.

Just went and saw a movie here and everyone there were so friendly and great. I got this huge cut on my hand and they went searching for a band aid for me. We also were a difficult food order and the got it perfect.

This is a MASSIVE theater. 20+ screens, multiple wings, and LOTS of food options! (The lattermost point is what makes the Megaplex franchise my favorite--and this one has more than most!) You can choose from pizza hut, gelato, fries, burgers, corn dogs, fruit, and so many other things in addition to classic popcorn and soda. Note that most hot items will require a small wait (they cook to order) so if you intend to buy those, show up 5-10 minutes before you want to sit down.VIP theater is nice. All leather recliners, a lounge for before the movie, and theyll bring you your concessions (though be aware that its a limited menu compared to the front snack bar [theres no pizza options]). You will also be expected to tip on food orders so it really adds up. Personally, I dont think its worth it, but maybe you might.One other note: the cell reception in the building is TERRIBLE. That works out since its a movie theater and you shouldnt be on your phone anyway, but if youre worried about a work call or needing to send an important email between the previews and the movie start, you probably wont be able to do it here. FYI.

Awesome location in Thanksgiving Point. Google has yet to catch up with the construction going on around Thanksgiving point, but youll still get there. Be sure to use you Megaplex Card to build your points and earn free stuff. The popcorn is pretty good too.Enjoy

Megaplex offers the best quality movie experiences in Utah IMHO. Great, comfortable seats, top of the line audio and video in their theaters, reserved seating which can be easily preordered online, self serve kiosks on site, phone scan tickets, and clean theaters and bathrooms. At this particular location (Thanksgiving Point) the concessions can get pretty crowded. If you dont arrive early enough for your movie, youll miss the beginning because of waiting in concession line. This location also has a decent variety of concessions (not just popcorn, soda, candy) such as pizza, gelato, nachos, burritos, etc.

Fantastic place to go watch a movie. Staff are always friendly and willing to jump in to help you out

Theater is pretty good, seats are nice, video and sound is good, but the staff seems to be extremely disinterested. Ive seen a dozen movies here but wont go anymore. Last week, I watched three employees laugh and look at their phones while people waited for help. Worth the extra 15 min north to District or 15 min south to Vineyard.

Only had cash to pay for our money and they were refusing it because they are cashless. So don’t waste your time if you want to pay with cash

In terms of local theaters, Cinemark and AMC are trying to up their game (for example recent additions of better recliner seating, and more food options), however those places will continue to loose out to Megaplex for 2 reasons. 1) the food options are just better at megaplex (most of these other places dont have their own kitchens so their food tastes like chemicals) 2) Megaplex just seems to have a kinder spirit in hiring their employees somehow (compare on your own some time). Either theyre hiring teenagers who are naturally more friendly most of the time, or theyre doing a better job training on the importance of this. Its the difference between an In/Out and a Burger King. Both are fine, but theres a difference.

Great clean movie theater that provides a pretty good experience. I love going to the IMAX at Jordan Commons, but honestly the experience has still always been great here.

Watched the Sonic movie twice here. Was able to grab 12 sonice posters as I walked out for me and my friends. They did not care how many I took. 4 stars because in the movie Sonics feet are teased at through socks but you dont get to see the whole foot.

Megaplex is always good. Many seating choices and the food is generally quite good compared to other theatres!

Love coming here on a week night when it’s slow.

This is a good spot to catch a movie. It is rarely crowded on Sundays. Pretty good food selection and the employees are nice and helpful.

My husband and I go to this theater regularly since we have Megapasses and loyalty rewards amd live nearby.I am rather frustrated right now, though, because their system is down and we cant buy tickets to a movie tonight with our Megapasses or Loyalty rewards. I called them to see if we could use those things at the theater, but they said no. I asked with we could get a discount since their system was down and we didnt have access to the ways in which we intended to purchase tickets. They said no. Its a Thursday night and that seemed to lack customer service for a problem they caused.Their prices have been going up and, although the food is better than at other theater chains, the other amenities do not justify the higher than average ticket prices. Im just tired of it.

I’ve seen several movies here. Sound is really good and the theaters are clean. The staff is always happy and helpful. I think the VIP theater is the best movie experience around.I would avoid the D-box seats, the novelty wears thin in about 5 minutes then you’re just left with a very uncomfortable seat compared to the regular seats.

Jamie in concessions was pretty cool. Seemed like someone who owns a tarantula, but doesnt overly flaunt it. Ya know, like Frank from 6th grade, who thought he was the coolest dude just bc his mom let him own a snake for the summer.Ugh, hate Frank.

My wife and Is favorite movie theater! We pass a few places to get to Thanksgiving Point theaters! Amazing concessions and nice folks to get us to our seats quickly!

The theater is large, clean, has plenty of options, and has a friendly staff, but gimme a break on those concessions prices. $5 for a mini popcorn is laughable. Megaplex would make a killing if they toned down the concessions prices.

Honestly, Thanksgiving point is one of the best places to bring the family. They have an excellent movie theater with a museum near by and so many different choices of food. Thanksgiving point has never let me down and is always my go to if Im bored and dont have any plans for the day

It was an ok place kinda empty the employees were courteous and helpful but, the people that were in our theater one kept bringing his phone out and that spoiled the movie for some of us due to the light on the phone kept grabbing our attention away from the movie.

The theater is great they have messed up on our food orders quite a few times but they have always made it right there is a lot of road construction going on around them right now so it is difficult to get to other than that its a great movie theater

Terrible experience today at Megaplex. We tried to print our tickets at the kiosk and received a message that our tickets needed to be printed at a ticket counter. Waited in line for the counter and got our tickets. We then pay $15 for popcorn and drinks and take our seats. Right as the movie starts another couple shows up with the same tickets?! They go and get a manager and come to find out, our tickets were somehow for the movie yesterday?! Not sure how that is possible? Especially when the tickets were printed at the counter 15 mins before the movie started? We get pulled out of our seats with no explanation on how this could happen? The solution??? Take my credit card number and email address and say your accounting group will email me for a refund? Terrible customer service. $45 later we see 5 mins of a movie and have to do the walk of shame out. Thanks for an amazing date night Megaplex theaters!!!

Megaplex has always been a great theater for us to attend, and weve never really had an issue with the service in a manner that they didnt bend over backwards to accommodate. We go to multiple movies a year here and love it!

The Megaplex theaters are my first choice when going out. I love the luxury recliners and today finally tried the VIP theater. Same recliners, which is nice, lounge, which is also nice, but I wasnt impressed with the service. We ordered snacks before the movie but didnt get them for quite a while. Yes, they bring them to you but I like to get settled before the movie starts. During the previews they boast their concierge service however when I went out to order dinner food there was no one to be found except a sign telling you to use a telephone to call guest services. I waited for a bit and someone finally showed up but she couldnt log in to the terminal and had to write my order down and call someone else. I returned to my seat and several minutes later that someone else came to take my payment then several minutes later brought the food. So, the idea of VIP service is great, but that was far from a VIP experience. Megaplex theaters are still my first choice but Ill steer clear of their VIP theater.

The theater and the sound was great for the movie The Way scene. The seats were very comfortable, but the divider between seats is very uncomfortable. It kept my girlfriend and I from being able to sit next to each other without something in our back. This is one downfall to going with significant other. The people working were very friendly and helpful.

The theater room we were in was enormous. The movie, Frozen II, was great. Id like to see it again.I bought a Mega tub of popcorn, but I regret it. It cost $30, but after I got home, we calculated that you would have to go to 6 movies (if you are only filling it once [for $3] for each movie) before you start saving money over a large popcorn. And if your family eats a lot of popcorn (so that you fill it twice [for $3 each time] with each movie) then you dont start saving until the 13th movie. We only attend about 4 to 6 movies a year, and we refill the large popcorn every time, so it was a mistake for me to buy the mega tub off popcorn.
