Aside from the requirement to wear a mask, and not the gators that we had already purchased, the experience was fairly decent and no issues. Comfortable seats, and a fun experience all in all.

The theater was nice but everything leading up to it is ridiculous.Its way to small to handle the volume of people. Line to buy tickets, line to get in, line to buy food/drink, line to fill drinks. Everyone is on top of each other.Also, it says alot about a place when you have 3 cop cars outside the entrance and security in and around the theater. I could understand having them around for safety, if they were still present during and after the last movie got out.

Just the three of us this time. Purchased tickets and snacks online. Also selected our seats online. The theater was clean inside and there were several han sanitizing stations. The screen was perfect, the sound excellent and our reclining seats were ultra comfortable.We had a party of about 8 in front of us and they screamed/spoke loudly (during the entire movie) and pretty much ruined the experience for this visit. Our visit to Epic theaters recently contrasted this AMC visit, in that they dont tolerate disruptive patrons.

Just went to see the rise of Skywalker. The theater was clean, the staff is friendly and local so you get to support the local economy and high school/college students. They are also good with accommodations for anyone with handicaps or needs.

Sorry for the late review I was too nervous to come forward for a few months, I came into the movie theatre with my newborn child so excited to watch Frozen 2 and boom, some kid name micheal punted my baby across the movie theatre because I hid 1 pack of scooby snacks in her onsie, astonished that I had to buy snacks now I bought a large popcorn for me and my hunny to share, then some short female about 411 I believe with the name caitlyn spit in my popcorn. Absolutely disgusted I ate the popcorn and watched the movie with a frown on my face the entire time. 3/5 stars

No security. Kids were smoking weed in the bathroom and kept going in and out of theater. Couldnt enjoy movie because loud, high children couldnt stop talking. This has happened almost every time Ive been to this theater. This theater needs some kind of security. Bad.

Still doing the social distancing thing and was cooler in temperature than I like. But all in all was a good experience.

Very dead mall. Not many places open. Even a Saturday mid-day visit and still dead.

Went to the movies today and they are being very careful in making sure things are sanitized and things are handled with care. So its for sure safe for anyone with Covid concerns like myself.

Cant think of anything that went wrong during our visit. The gentleman at the ticket taking stand was nice and did his best to help keep the line moving by asking cash/credit. Concessions were fine. The theater and bathrooms were clean. Enjoyed the reclining seats. Overall, it was a good experience.

Great place for the family or date night

Less than 5 dollar 9 am movies I just found out about this I will definitely be going more often. Theater is spotless in the morning. Very few people. It is like having your own personal theater. Loved it.

Comfortable seating, good sound. Great matinee pricing!Getting tickets is easy, either in person or online. You can select your seats to ensure youre getting a good seat, but with matinees bring uncrowded, you can also move after the movie starts.The theaters are well-sized. Not too big, not too small.

Even though this theater is super nice and has amazing seats that recline. The food isnt all that expensive. They management/security does not care. My fiance and I went on 1/4/20 we sat in the middle of row E. A young couple (probably in their late teens) came and sat on the end. The whole time they were talking, taking pictures with the flash on and scrolling through their phones. Myself and several others go and complain I give in detail where they are at, the row and side of the theater they are on.Security does come in but doesnt even go to that side of the theater. You can clearly see them though because of their phone screens. About 30 minutes later they become quite accept for some strange noises.. we look over and the girl has the guys junk in her mouth! We both get up and go say something including the other couple in our row.Nothing gets done. We ended up moving seats, but seeing as we saw Frozen II THERE WERE CHILDREN IN THIS THEATER. Will not be going back!

Great way to see a movie. Recliners are super comfortable and no obstructed views as they terraced the seating rows, wonderful. Popcorn a little pricey though.

We have decided, as a family, that this is going to be our go-to theater, when possible. They have the most comfortable seats we have ever found in a movie theater. It was not over crowded. The employees were very nice. The only downside is that they dont have as many theaters, so there arent as many showtimes to choose from. But, there are plenty of food choices nearby.

Cory and Shawna are beautiful. I was sobbing in your bathrooms when they walked in on me having a mental breakdown, and they were so nice and understanding and then they told me to get out. Really woke me up and gave me a whole new view of life. Inspiring work that they are doing here at AMC.

Decent mall tho very sparse as far as stores and food goes. Theres only about 4 choices for actual food and then theres sweet shop and frozen ice cream. They do have a great shoe place tho some of their sneakers are a bit overpriced but they have a huge selection of footwear for men and women. Nice movie theater and VIA entertainment which provides arcade like Dave and busters and also provides a go kart and they just put in an ice skating rink. But while those attractions are nice, they still need to draw better crowds with better stores and food choices.

The theatres were clean and the staff was kind enough. I have never been a fan of popcorn and I dont have much of a sweet tooth, so I didnt get any concession stand items.I did enjoy the fact that there is a bar, but its a non-liqour bar so dont expect martinis and vodka.I also came here on a slow night so I wouldnt know what its like when its busy. But from what I did experience, it wasnt bad.

No one at concession stand, had to locate an employee. Seating was okay, though even with reserved seating only, no one enforced it. Had to wait in line for several minutes to purchase a ticket because only one attendant. Bought tickets via kiosks, and no usher so had to find someone to admit us.The comfort of seating was only saving grace

Employees were pleasant and accommodating. #3 Theatre was clean. Tickets were priced fairly.The biggest disappointment was the price of the refreshments! Large drink and bucket of old popcorn was over $17.00 w/ tax and the box of candy that sells for .98 cents is $4.99 at the theater. How can a working class family of 4-5 afford a movie once a week? Might explain why there were seven people in #3 Theatre.

Dirty seats, no security measures and extremely rude staff. Bathrooms were utterly disgusting. Concession staff, especially Carly, was so off putting that we have decided as a family never to go back to this theatre again. For a wonderful theatre experience, drive the short distance to Orlando. Totally worth the extra few bucks and you will enjoy yourself far more because they actually appreciate and take care of their movie goers.

I love coming here. There is barely any people here during the weekday which is a good thing. It’s not crowded.

Very comfortable seating with a nice selection of snacks at the concession stand and a friendly, helpful staff. We really appreciate having a multiplex theater in the neighborhood where we can shop at the mall, grab a bite to eat at the food court and relax for an evening or afternoon of entertainment.

I own a business inside of the Lake Square Mall and this AMC location is always doing great business! They offer $5 ticket Tuesdays and always have the latest movies!! The staff is all extremely professional and very friendly as well as willing to help make every guest have a wonderful movie experience! Concessions are pretty pricey but definitely worth it! Seating is super comfortable and you can kick back and recline in every theatre! Enjoy the show!!

Mall has created Family oriented events - especially the Ice Rink (which in 2020 could be placed in the Sears location with a Regulation Ice Arena). Two AMC nice & reasonable in cost. Food court works. Belks is still good & glad they survived.

Theater seems nice. But, concessions way overpriced. Bought 2 tubs of popcorn for our group. The guy working the counter scraped out the last bit and gave us 3/4 filled tub. We asked if they could make fresh as it looked burnt. They said no. Then we asked if they could at least fill both tubs up since it was so expensive. They said no. We waited to talk with a manager and it was apparent they didnt care.

Who doesnt love a $5 movie. Popcorn and drink WAY OVER PRICED. popcorn is always stale not fresh. They save it from the night before and mix it in with the fresh. Sneak in your own snack !!

Its the best part of the mall. Its clean, they get you through the line fast. Good theatre.

I went tonight to see countdown and I have to say that it was a waste of my money. I left about 30 min into the actual movie because the audience in there was very loud and boisterous. They clearly don’t know proper Theater etiquette.... parents shouldn’t allow their kids to go to movies alone without proper supervision... also staff members should be aware of the audience they have going in and prepare accordingly. That is all.

The mall is slowly looking nicer. They need to fix the parking lots and all of the surrounding roads.

The reclining seats are roomy and comfortable. Theater is clean and concession handled with good customer service.

The location is a little strange but the theater itself is very nice with reclining chairs. You enter from the back and go down which is interesting. I enjoyed it! The theater rooms are smaller which provides a more intimate setting and more space to relax while enjoying the show. It was very enjoyable!

Ticket prices are awesome but then they stick it to you for a hot dog and drink. Thankfully no one ever questions why my purse is tearing at the seams. I think we all realize 27 for 3 items is at best ridiculous.

The staff here tend to forget that they are in a customer service business they often look overworked and frustrated with their job. That being said we really like the theater and the kitty seats that recline. It’s a pretty decent theater. The mall is in the process of being revived and having a good theater is good for business. Hopefully the staff will work on their customer service and become a little more friendly.

Went to go see a movie on christmas. I wanted to go to the concession stand and get something to eat and wait outside in the mall area as I was early for the show. Was told I was not aloud in because it was too early. Explained myself again that I wanted to wait outside the theater and was told that I couldnt. Decided to refund my ticket and go to a better theater. Wont be going g back there again. The employee wasnt helpful nor was listening and cost the theater money for a ticket and whatever the overpriced food was going to be

Really like this theater, reclining seats are amazing. Beer and wine at the movies is awesome. I dont like the prices though... I think that if you would lower the prices you could make more money because more people would buy... Just my two cents.

We live this theater and the variety it offers at the snack bar. You cant beat the comfy reclining seats either, its like watching a movie in your favorite recliner.

Very small theater. If you want great seats my advise is to buy your tickets online prior the movie. And for my grownups there is a bar with a good selection is wines and liquor.

Movie was great. Pricing on popcorn and 2 drinks? $20. Soundproofing between viewing theaters and bar nextdoor was highly inadequate. Could hear the bar band playing over the movie soundtrack ️

This is a nice mall within a few miles from our house. The stores are plentiful and you can find pretty much what you want there. The AMC theater is all new and the seating is like sitting at home in a recliner. I would recommend a visit there as often a possible.

This was my first time to this theater in years and its a nice theater inside a mall. The sound was excellent and there is plenty of leg room. The seats are actually recliners, which is a plus and a minus. A plus because its almost as comfortable as home, a minus because its easy to fall a sleep if you get too comfy. The prices are very low too. I dont know if it was because I was at an early showing or not, but it was less than $11 for a standard movie, a small icee and a small popcorn. I just hope the decline of American malls does not force it to shut down.Update: I went back another day. My last visit was on a Tuesday and they have a $5 special on Tuesdays. Normally the ticket price for standard is about $7 during the day, which is still a good price. I do have one complaint, but it does not effect my star rating, the control for the recliner could be better placed. Sometimes when I shifted in my seat I accidently bumped the controls and the seat moved. Also an added note, both sides of the theater are great, both have superior sound (I could really feel the rumble and hear the separation of the sound from left to right) and both have recliner seats, but only the newer section of the theater, theaters 7 through 12, has stadium seating.

They have revamped the theater and have done a really nice job.Personally the only way to go is matinee. Taking a large family at non-matinee times will cost you. Concessions are overpriced, but everyone knows that. 1 large popcorn and large drink $16.

This mall is getting a lot better. Definitely better stores than before and more to do with the kids.

Finish all of your renovations and you will definitely get 5 stars. This is your all American hometown mall and it is absolutely a great place to spend the night with your family or significant other or to let your teen go and have fun with their friends.

Now AMC is the best thing going for the Lake Square Mall. I had never sat in a theater reclining chair until this AMC. WOW, what a spoiler ... Ive even heard people snoring as I assume they find the seats comfortable. I am a member of the rewards club although Ive yet to see the perks since it is the free version. I would see more movies, but for some reason, the movies that come to this AMC seem to be more for juvenile audiences. I wonder why that is?? Im trying to think of some examples of movies that never made it there ... perhaps The Danish Girl? I really like the idea that you can have wine or beer. I dont normally order from the concession stand because it is way too expensive for a senior on social security.

Nice place to bring the kids eat have a drink maybe fall asleep if your not enjoying the movie with the kids lol but chair is very comfortable and it’s really clean

I honestly didnt appreciate this location until recently when I had the opportunity to visit a few other theaters, including the brand new Epic theater in Mt Dora. This theater was remodeled a while back and is significantly older than several other theaters within my area, but it is clearly cleaner than their new competition, the seats are significantly larger and everything from the tickets to the concessions is significantly cheaper! The new Epic theater is much closer to me personally, but Ill definitely be driving the extra few miles to the AMC as long as these facts remain!

Great place to see the best recent movies. Saw Avengers End game in comfort without distractions. Tried the spiderman popcorn. This is a clean place with good service.

Pretty decent theatre overall. The positives are that it has reasonably priced tickets compared to most theaters (except the connivence charge for online seat reservations is high) good amount of showings, and very comfortable seats. The negatives are that there are two sides and on one you have to walk aways to get to the bathroom for most rooms and on the other the concession is never open. They also need to work on keeping it a little cleaner. It was great when they finished renovations, but lately bathrooms have been messy and the theater rooms have also been a little dirty.

If you dont have the VIP pass you will spend an inordinate amount of time waiting for popcorn and other food items. They seemed to be understaffed on this Saturday afternoon for the theaters 7 through 12.

I think this theater is great. The only bad thing about it is that you will get bad seats if you dont purchase your tickets ahead of time and schedule your seat. The seats are very nice, you dont have to worry about someones feet being on the back of your seat & they recline.

Also there was a shaker on counter with a yellow substance in it. It was marked salt Ive never seen yellow salt I thought it was cheese for popcorn. Dont understand yellow salt.

Seats are comfy. Usually have a good selection of movies. Prices are too high in my opinion, both for movies, and concessions especially, but most theaters are quite a bit more pricey than need be these days. Eat before you go so you dont have to spend an arm and a leg for a few snacks while there.

Enjoyed the movie and we had lunch their the Chinese food was delicious.

We go to movies here in the winter, very clean, love the reclining seats.

This place is great. The recliners are very comfortable and roomy. The prices are a little high but in line with every other theater. The food is great but pricey. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. A heads up in case someone is disabled. It’s a little hike from the parking lot and through the food court to get to the theaters. Overall it’s a great experience.

Went to theater to see Noovie before movie. Manager Justin NoLastName (would not give his last name) was unable do to clean theater timely. So, would not allow us to watch Noovie. He said we could not come and see his dirty theater, but would not compensate for not seeing Noovie.
