My girls have been playing for Loudoun for over 10 years. Weve had some ups and downs with coaching but mostly on the positive side. I think youll experience that with any club. The leadership really does seem to care about the development of the players.Ive also coached my girls and been an Age Group Coordinator for the minis. The support that you get if you ask for help is great. They have a training season for new coaches as well as training plans to make things easier for volunteers. Ive coached in other organizations and have never had that type of support. Our family loves this club! They arent perfect but what club is?!
Nice field, plenty of play space and goals. I had a nice experience here. I recommend it, although for some it might be confusing getting to the field itself. Nice field overall though!
The whole complex is really good but they need to keep the bathrooms clean please ...
I am convinced that Loudoun Soccers board sat down and said listen we are so big that people have no choice but to come back if we screw them over. Taking people’s money for services not rendered is a version of theft no matter how you look at it. We need an alternative that we can send our kids to and maybe Loudoun Soccer will begin to care about their customers again. This season would have been our child’s first season playing and they have a good 10+ seasons in their future. Loudoun Soccer decided to take our $164 with no refund so all we can do is tell anyone willing to listen not to play there and spend the next 10+ seasons giving our money to someone else.
Add one more voice to the disappointed parents who were told we didnt hold a season, but were still keeping the money you paid for this Spring Season. And I say this as a parent who has volunteered and coached for this league for 10+ seasons. There are other leagues in the area who support the children, the community and soccer better than this. I recommend looking for them, and avoiding Loudoun Soccer Club.
The only way son could get in was to have his dad VOLUNTEER as a head coach (with absolutely no perk) Then season was cancelled and we received no refund.Where did our money go? They said administrative expenses (their salaries?). So we paid them to sit at home doing nothing last season.Poorly managed organization.
Wish I could give them zero star rating. Let me share my experience with other families about Loudoun soccer. Not only did they steal money from hundreds of little little children but they then decided to give a tiny partial credit. In other words we have to pay EVEN MORE MONEY for them to take from us and then we get to apply the tiny partial credit the gave us. So the experience of hundreds of children and their families is robbery. They stole already but didnt stop there they wanted to continue stealing! Stay away from such unethical evil vile organizations. Dont let them still from your children too, stay away. Save your money, go else where. Anywhere but to this horrid establishment.
Give them your money and you will receive nothing in return. The 2020 spring season fees were taken by this organization and nothing given in return. I would not recommend them. They delayed communicating any action for months.
This review is solely based on the tragic and unfortunate mishandling of the 2020 spring soccer season by Loudoun soccer. An organization for the youth of America, right? You state that you are refunding the “hardest” of hit families in the county? Only now, months into this pandemic? Then the rest are left with an insult to human intelligence with an $82 “credit” towards a future registration. After these same parents had the full faith of the organization to commit the $160 fee for a season’s registration. Please be advised that I think most will agree that it is not about the money here. It is about the moral values and standards that an organization needs to abide by.How does Loudoun Soccer in one of the wealthiest of counties in the great nation of the United States of America mishandle something so simple? How do they lack the financial plan or planner to be able to over come one season of registration income? I think the real question here is whom involved with the running of this organization is responsible? Now parents are faced with the moral dilemma of whether or “not” to enroll their child(ren) in a community youth soccer program in the future that doesn’t even have the standards and ethical morals to “do the right thing” by the very people whom support and pay them! It’s a down right shame and a tragic tragic chain of events that lead up to this situation that could have certainly been handled much much better from the beginning.I know that I for one will never receive my “$82 credit” because my child will never play for Loudoun soccer again. I also believe that this organization deserves to be dismantled if this is the careless way in which they chose to treat the youth and their parents.
Zero stars would be more appropriate, this organization is a complete scam. We paid $165 to have our 4 year old enrolled in a soccer program with Loudoun Soccer, but due to COVID-19, they had to rightfully cancel the season; however, they are refusing to refund our money. Loudoun Soccer took $165 from us and offered absolutely no services in return, they simply took our money, misappropriated it, and told us they did not have it anymore so they could not offer a refund. I expect to either receive services for my payment or my money back; Loudoun Soccer is offering neither. I highly discourage anyone from using them in the future.
They took our money in Dec for the spring season. Then Corona... they decided they were the ones worth saving vs us. So they kept it all (even though the season never started and we also had to shell out for uniforms to get them in time for the season). After months of asking for updates about a refund we were told they spent our money and we’re offered 2 options 1)less than half credit towards a fall season (which is iffy it’ll even happen)2) donate it all to them!!! (Like they’re a charity)Just shameful.
Very disappointed in this organization. Like everyone else, we enrolled our then-Kindergartner into the rec program at the beginning of the year (and this is our first experience with LSC), then COVID hit, and then didnt hear anything from them until May. I wouldve understood a partial refund back or a full credit for a future program, but unfortunately, we only received a half credit. I wish the communication was better and had come out earlier - had they explained when COVID first hit of their financial situation or their reasoning behind no refunds, I wouldve been more understanding.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. My son played competitive league and had the worst season. His coach allowed bullying and at one point my son was ganged up on and beaten up by a few of his teammates. He was 10. The coach who watched and allowed it - boys will he boys. We agreed to one more year but in rec and only if we could get him on the same team as his best friend. Then COVID-19 hit. This league which is touted to be the best was non- communicative and non- responsive to any inquiries. After several months of no communication we were finally told that we get nothing. We were already disappointed with this league but h Th his was the final nail in the coffin. They are horrible and we plan to never enroll our son again.
Yes, agree with the many other posts expressing disappointment. Not cool that Loudoun Soccer is offering credit for 1/2 of the registration fee when the season didnt even start due to the pandemic .. not a single practice or game. I get the impression that this is not a non-profit focused on kids playing soccer.
I wish I could give Loudoun Soccer 0 stars. We spent $160+ for our son to play during their 2020 Spring season. Loudoun Soccer took our money and no refund was given when they canceled the season. Their communication is terrible. I’ve sent 3 emails with no response. They have no sense of community. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Unfortunately, Loudoun Soccer Club has chosen to eschew refunds for the 2020 season, despite not rendering or providing any services to paying customers. Somehow the club believes that offering a 50% credit towards a future season was a reasonable measure. Loudoun Soccer Club should take a cue from other organizations and correct this mistake.
Awful experience the last couple of seasons. Our kids ended up with HS coaches that often didn’t show up. When they were actually there, the kids still had to fare for themselves so several parents had to step up. They say they will get several sessions with professionals but it’s honestly a joke. We’ve been able to teach/coach our kids better than any ‘coaches’ we had with Loudoun Soccer. Now with the covid situation, they refuse to refund our money. They’ve always seemed to be more concerned about the bottom $ than the families that keep this organization running. We won’t be going back.
So disappointed in this organization. Will not refund spring 2020 fees to families, despite season never starting and being canceled. The board made the decision to keep all fees to keep the organization active and pay salaries, despite no soccer activities. How pathetic for an organization primarily run by volunteers! This would have been our 3rd season with the league, and have never been impressed by the organization. Only reason we return is because my son enjoys playing with his friends.
Terrible organization, they basically stole everyone’s money, no refunds for spring. They made sure they waited 90 days to tell everyone so it would be too late to do a credit card chargeback . They don’t pay any of the coaches so it’s not like they needed the money for that they need the money for their six digit figure salaries... and don’t even let the Volunteer coaches children go for a discount or free. The year before we didn’t even have a coach and they didn’t even communicate just ignored all the parents email. My son missed out on the season because it was too late by the time we found out there was no coach. We decided to give them one more chance this year and this is what they do never again.
We loved that we played with neighborhood friends; however they poorly managed the Spring 2020 season, offering NO refunds for a season which didnt happen but only offered a credit of 50% towards next season. They took my almost $350 in Rec Soccer fees for two children to support their beautiful facility (note your recreation players are on local elementary school fields which are terrible) and highly paid coaches (our coaches are volunteers) and management. You have to pay extra for jerseys! My husband who coached for years will be looking to join a different club in the fall or maybe a new sport.
This club will take your money even if they decide to cancel the season. Their true colors really showed during the Covid-19 pandemic and are currently under heavy scrutiny county-wide for how they refused to formally cancel the 2020 Spring season until the 11th hour and then did so by offering a very tiny credit to be used for future seasons, in lieu of a refund - like most establishments that ended up having to cancel events. See the news story about them on USA9 and Loudoun Times! The folks that run this organization are highly-paid crooks. On top of it all, the refs are aggressively confrontational if you even suggest that they missed a call. The only thing good about this league is Coach Jeff.
Poorly run organization. I was warned by a friend before signing up my son. I should have listened.
Very disappointed in how Loudoun Soccer has handled the Spring 2020 season that was canceled due to COVID-19. We paid for a service that was never provided and yet no refunds. Options were to get a partial (half credit) for another season or to donate the money. This is not right and I am not alone in my thoughts. With social media, word spreads fast. Not only families negatively impacted, but those who were planning on registering in future seasons have viewed the handling of this situation in poor taste.
Similar to all the other parents so who feel cheated out of our hard earn money, I feel cheated. No matter what the circumstances are, I shouldnt pay for something I never received and stating that its a donation, is well, stealing.
Not willing to focus on your child to ensure a great soccer experience. Only concern is the money they will get from you and your child. If you want quality go elsewhere.
This review is specific to the decisions made during the Spring Rec 2020 season due to the pandemic. Loudoun Soccer chose to take care of themselves, including maintaining salaries, over the needs of their community. Using the fees of people (some struggling financially) to fund the organization into 2021, not just the Spring. All the while getting money from the Paycheck Protection Plan. I am very disappointed with their lack of transparency, the run around on communication, & no option for a refund (even partial) for services not rendered.
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! Run away!!! They will not refund you...despite the whole pandemic that forced the season to be cancelled. Not one practice happened and they are not willing to refund the money or credit the full amount paid towards a future season.
So disappointed with this organization and how theyve handled the spring season during a word wide pandemic. Families are suffering and trying to figure out how theyll feed their families and pay their mortgage, and Loudoun Soccer chooses to keep the money we paid for a service they didnt provide. Its really sick. We will not be participating in this organization ever again!
If I could give them zero stars I would. They cancelled the season and kept every single penny that the childrens families paid. We didnt even get a refund for uniforms that WE NEVER GOT. Unethical, unbelievable. Never again will my child play in this league.
Paid over 500.00 for my kids to learn soccer. Loudoun Soccer cancelled the season, and refuses to refund my money. Not sure if this is legal but will find out.
Been doing for it 4 yrs and top tier
Much smaller organizations were able to give at least partial refunds or full credit. Shady organization
It is a shame what they are doing to the county,! It is a disappointment and my kids haven’t even gotten a chance to play for Loudoun soccer and I don’t think they will. They will find another league that doesn’t treat the players and families this way.
Going into the season of 2019 they reduced practices for anyone other than travel to once a week and no constant coaching by their paid coaches like all the previous years BUT charged the same amount. THEN 2020 rolls around where they have no season at all and they keep everyone’s money. Explaining to us that we have to explain our financial hardship to be even considered a refund. Arrogant and crooked!
Zero stars actually. Very ghetto. Would not recommend.
Very disappointed with Loudoun Soccer (LS) for not refunding fees for Spring 2020 due to COVID-19 has shut down all recreational activities. LS indicates that fees were already paid for sunk cost which does not make sense since LCPS soccer fields were also closed and LCPS issued refunds to all students for parking, school activities, etc that were previously paid at the beginning of the school year. LS indicates that COVID-19 was act of God and gives them right to refuse refunds. LS is self-serving and does not care about the community that supports them. Then LS turns around and said that only partial credit for next season will be given and if credit is not taken, then the fees are mandatorily converted as donations. Donations are voluntary, not mandatory and it should be an option for the donor to make that choice, and not be coerced into it. Other non-profit organizations already began issuing refunds such as Wolf Trap and LCPS. We will never participate nor support LS ever again since it does not care for the community that have supported it for many years.
Signed my son up to play in February. Waited and waited for info. COVID closures came, no word. In MAY we hear *surprise* there is no season. And the kicker - NO REFUND, but oh you can have HALF what you paid as a CREDIT. With no camps or fall season this year. They are CROOKS!!!!
Clearly someone is embezzling money if they can’t refund the money for a soccer year that didn’t happen. The pure lack of communication during all of this has been the worst experience I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve lived here my whole life and played sports and now having young kids that play in Loudoun soccer it’s unfortunate. I will make sure anyone I know that moves here for the military or anything will not enroll the kids in this program.
BEWARE: STOLE MONEY from hundreds of families. Can never support such a unethical organization!!!
Very disappointed. I dont know how they manage their budget.
Do not care about the community and development of our children as they claim really their leadership’s first priority is keeping their nice six figure salaries they are getting as a “non profit”. Look elsewhere
Has zero concerns about the families and youth they deal with. Will take your money for personal finical gain. Unethical selfish business. Do not ever register your child for soccer here. Worst business ever.
LSC was paid for a service they did not provide yet, they believe it’s okay to keep the payment.
Paid for a season of soccer which they cancelled and offered zero refund. Horrible communication.
Not supportive of families during covid stay at home order.
Not an honest organization, all they want is your money!
Never fix it Things
They need to work on the parking, but its a nice stadium. Good seats.
My kids soccer club, the best.
Nice place to play soccer and have fun with the family
Unethical organization not refunding when services were not delivered
Great place! Lots of seating
Really professional, impressive soccer school, great soccer fields!
They may need some upgrades and I suggest an indoor area where parents can wait until kids are done with practice. Love the management and how they are growing as fast as our county is. I also suggest to have other options for uniform purchases...But overall...its great. Charitable and they have parent meet and greet evenings.
Spacious, but sparse seating.
Very disappointed in this organization.
Bathrooms need work
Great futbol club! Great fields! Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The soccer club was top notch!
Customer service is very extremely poor. I enrolled my daughter obviously to learn soccer and no doubt Loudoun soccer does great job with coaching But if you assign my daughter at a time when I cannot bring her on time what is the use of me enrolling her. Not everyone has a flexible job.The lady bluntly told me get your refund. I called them to let them know that I can’t bring her at 5pm and requested if she could be placed at 6pm. I was told it’s on coach’s discretion. You don’t even know which coach is being assigned. I only suggested probably you should give parents a flexibility to request time at registration and all I was told is get your refund(rudely). I am very disappointed with Loudoun soccer.
Worst travel team we have ever been on. Refund policy....oh there is none. They take your money!!! Ridiculous Coach was awful and cursed at the boys! They don’t have to play your kid even if you pay for it
Awesome facility! Fields are great and its in a very nice spot next to an airport. They even have a full concessions stand!
I love this team i wish the best 4 the team
The field is in great shape and the snack bar food is low priced and good.
Loudoun Soccer is great! Excellent coaches and directors. They care about players and coaches.
The adult leagues are better than most comparable (like the local indoor facility). The refs could use a little bit of an upgrade, and the parking can be congested at times with the youth pickups. But overall a good experience for players.
Very nice facility. Good coaches and a variety of camps to choose from.
Avoid at all cost!
VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Unorganized. We signed up and paid in June, soccer has already started, but we do not have a game or practice schedule or uniforms. They have over two months to get their stuff together and failed to. Wow! #ripoff
Nice facilities. Very good fields for being turf.
Great outdoor field and awesome coaches. Snack bar is great too.
Sometimes its a little hard to get out of the lot, but otherwise facilities are nice.
Great facility! Good quality play, decent referees, turf fields being replaced so will be fresh very soon :)
Nice folks working in the office. Great looking turf.
They are bad administrators. They do not tread people well.
Beautiful place lots of space to play soccer.
The best place to play soccer in Loudoun!!! Food, Beer and Candy at the field
One of the nicest soccer facilities Ive seen. Really amazing
Several great turf soccer fields.
No structure and minimum coaching. My daughter was shy and never really got into it. Nobody cared. We switched to another league and felt huge difference.
Need a really good couch to training soccer more profesional
Soccers the best
They even have a concession stand! Great facility!
Been coming here for years, well maintained
Wonderful athletic facility.
Fields good but parking is a challenge.
Good place to play there and any age can play there
They dont care if u are injured
Great field, great club.
Home of Loudoun United
Great place for soccer.
Great club
Fake turff
Its all about soccer
Good for sports!
Nice facility.
Great facility!
Great program and coaching!!
Good facility!
Tc
Bad experiences with a coach and could not get hold of anyone at Loudoun Soccer to file a complaint or switch team for our 4 year old.
