Course is in great shape. It was a pleasant surprise with the state of golf these days. 9 holes with plenty of shade. Justin Orbin the golf pro is great with the kids. He also has some kind of event scheduled most of the week.

Great price for good golf. The layout is nice, but dont expect the best conditions. I really liked the challenge, good elevation changes coupled with terrain and turns, difficult greens but no water or sand issues. Overall, nice round with some good views. Some minor problems with slow play, but dont feel bad about skipping a hole or two if youre playing 18. Ill be back!

Private, so open and not many other people in the area. Lots of wild life to enjoy watching.

Great Golf Course! Weve been playing here since my folks moved to Point Venture over 5 years ago and the experience has only gotten better every time! The course is always well maintained and the views on several of the holes are stunning, especially on Hole 7, the courses signature Hole. Every hole presents a new challenge even though there are no sand traps or water features on the course, which makes this a great place for beginners. The recent updates to the club house and driving range are welcome changes in addition to the new food truck that services the club house. Theres a full service bar now complete with games and live music, along with an impressive pro shop. Would recommend to any golfer of any experience level but I would consider this a perfect course for beginners. 5 Stars!

Found the course through GolfNow. Came with a $5 food coupon, which isnt good for their food inside, but a food trailer and doesnt open until 4 on Fridays. Driving range looks like its going through upgrades. Clubhouse was recently updated and well done. Course was in good condition. Greens seemed to be a little fast but in great shape. Fairways were well done. Nine holes made it a little slow after our morning tee time but still finished in a little over three hours. A few nice views of the lake, too.

Nice little nine hole, a few rough spots here and there but overall it was good play.

This was one of the better courses we played. The greens were maintained. The staff was friendly. I loved that we could see Lake Travis from the course. The price was so reasonable and well worth the drive to get over there. We will be back!

Great place to take little kids to play some golf. Only one grouchy local. Everyone else was great!

Point Venture Golf Club is one of the best 9-hole courses in the state and can be played for $29 for 18 holes with a cart or less at anytime! The course is always in great condition - especially the greens! The staff is friendly and make you fell welcome. There are great views of the hill country and Lake Travis with numerous deer roaming all over the course. The course itself is challenging for the good player because it is tight with doglegs that offer great risk reward opportunities and small undulating greens that can be quick as a pool table. On the other hand, there are no bunkers or water hazards, so even the beginner, junior, senior, lady can roll it down the middle and shoot a good score. I highly recommend visiting Point Venture often and soon!

Food was good, and folks in pro shop were friendly and accommodating. Not far from home either. Loved it.Clebrette

Great nine-hole course. One of the best Ive played in the state. Greens are always in excellent shape. No sand or water, but sometimes youll have to watch out for those deer! Highly recommended. Friendly staff and never too crowded, even on weekends.

Great experience at the Point Venture golf course, as always! In the hill country, close to Austin, with extremely affordable green’s fees! The course is well maintained and challenging with wonderful views of Lake Travis along the way. I took my Father, and two brothers there over the Thanksgiving break and we’ll be back!! The night golf looks amazing; I will definitely need to get a group of us together to try that out, soon! Keep up the great work! CB

I absolutely love this course! It is a great little nine hole at a fantastic price. Love the location and all the deer that run around. I try to come to this course as often as I can and have brought many friends/family here from out of town that cant get enough of this place! Keep up the good work Point Venture!

I love this place. Great course. Tough but not too tough. Great views and deer everywhere.

This is a great nine hole course. I have played this course many times in the last couple of years and they have always been friendly and the course kept up well. There has only been once that the sprinklers were on during the time we were playing a hole and so we had to hit through the rain. The prices are very reasonable for this course and I recommend it to others. It is a little bit of a drive, but it makes it pretty nice and secluded as well. You will have a LOT of wildlife around you with deer, rabbits, squirrels, and other animals around. Its a fun course with fairly open fairways not too many hazard areas which is good for me as I dont get to play as frequently as I would like.

Havent played yet in 2010 but the last few years the course has become well maintained. You will see about 150 deer while playing. No sand traps but great layout. My favorite course more for nostalgia as myself and good friend have played it about 100 times. Highly recommended for kids too. Enjoy and relax.

I have played this course multiple times over the years. It is in good shape and always a challenge (especially number nine that turns right all the way to the green.) I highly recommend this 9 hole course to all I talk with about courses as it is a different challenge than many courses. Thanks for being out there.

One of our favorite places to go on a day off from work! Great 9 hole course with great scenery, very reasonable price, and relaxed atmosphere! Highly recommend this course to anyone who enjoys the game!

My husband and I take our 10 year old to this course often. Because it is a 9 hole, it is great for a short round and then fun on the lake especially with a youngster. The course is well maintained and the views are great on most holes. There are deer everywhere, but they dont always like to move when we need to take a stroke near by. The course moves well, and we have been waived through by slower player, but we have never had a wait beyond the first tee on a Saturday.

I play Point Venture often because it is user friendly and fun. Each hole offers a unique challenge. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed.

Fun 9 hole course. There is a good variety of par 3s, 4s, and a few 5s. Every time I have been it has been a very quiet peaceful day of golf.

Best bang for your buck. Play on the cheap and get a top ranked course with views to die for. Its definitely worth the drive. Check it out.

Point Venture is a great place to gold for al levels of golfer. Their usually is not a whole lot of people on the course and you can get a quick 9 or 18 holes in in no time. Great views of the lake while working your way through the course, dear are usually seen on many of the holes. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to have a nice relaxing day of golf not waiting for each hole to clear of before teeing off!

Point Venture 9 hole golf course is a fun, friendly and beautiful Lake views course. No sand or water but the difficulty lies in the narrow fairways and Tree obstructions. You may have to wait for a deer crossing as well. Great Hill Country experience!.
