Very informative and straightforward. The theme of the museum is focused on the lives of the Comanche people, not on the genocidal horror visited upon them by the United States government. I am exceptionally taken with the graciousness of the exhibitors.

I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone interested in native American culture and history or just good solid history in general. The exhibits were of very high quality and the facility and staff very pleasant. A true gem of historical and cultural significance!I recommend leaving a donation. They offer this high quality experience freely, and we should help them keep it running and expanding.

Unfortunately there was a weather warning that cut short our visit, but seeing the works of art, learning about the Comanche Nation and their heritage, not to mention, contribution to this country while surrounded by so much talent and culture, it was breathtaking to say the least. Not much of a museum person, but this is a place Im sure visiting next time I am in Lawton, OK.Dont take pictures though, that is not ok as one of the visitors proved it.

A small, but free museum. Add it to your stop if you are near the area. I enjoyed the video of the Comanche code talkers. Theres also an art piece by Johnny Depp too. Only had 20 minutes to look around before they closed, but it was interesting to read the history in the short time I was there.

We had a super time at this museum. We enjoyed the art and the artifacts, but what was most enjoyable was our conversation with the host. He shared a lot of history and personal stories. He drew connections to other native people and explained the issues that they face. I wish we could have gone back to continue our conversation.
