I don’t recommend this soccer club for anyone, I had a daughter in the 07 team and they made me pay everything like fees uniform the month and all and the next 2 weeks they kicked her out because she couldn’t play good. She would come home crying because the couches would scream at her, at first I thought it was just to discipline them but I found out it’s not like that. I don’t recommend this club .
Coach Armando has done a very good job with the boys 2002 Academy team. My son has improved his game under his training. Good coach, good club.
Best coaches hands down in town. my son has played for them for about 4 years now. if you want your player to get to the next level they have to play here. if you want to win..dont come here. if you want to develop them Do come here. dont get me wrong, i love to win..but if my son develops to be the best he can be so be it. he played on a so so team..ranked around 9th in the state. but thru all this my son got multiple offers to play in MLS academies. but his journey also brought him to england. the coaches are hands down the best..they develop players. they dont hold back their players..unlike some clubs that dont want to break up their teams. here at downtown if they have a chance to go to the next level they let them go and explore it. best move was to bring my sons here..THANK YOU DOWNTOWN!
I registered my son with this club the latter part of August and removed him from his U10 Academy team because the coach was hot-headed and impartial. At first, I thought the coach was passionate about implementing discipline and teaching the children about how to play the game, but later I discovered he was unfit. Coach Eyal, has absolutely no barometer and yells at the children in an inappropriate manner. He needs child development classes. Apparently, hes not knowledgeable about the physical and motor skills development of the age group he works with . He also gossips publicly about his families to other families on his team.Unfortunately, the club lacks professionalism because they are either unaware of what kind of employee he is or just doesnt have any policies or procedures in place because I have not heard from the club four days following an incident.I dont recommend this club for any parent looking for a club where there child can develop and enjoy the game of soccer. Theres no accountability to ensure the safety of the children. Bullying the children is not competitive as the coach states, instead its just punking them. Unless you are looking for a coach that reacts off of emotional outbursts and impulses.
Its been my experience that both coach Eyal and the club as a whole are fantastic. Whenever ive had questions or concerns they have always been addressed appropriately and within a timely manor.Specifically, coach Eyals methods are strict and he demands the best of each and every player. This practice might not be suitable for everyone but it translates to a strong, effective team on the field. Thanks Downtown, this is exactly the model we ve been looking for.
I concur with the Rahman Family below. Coach Eyal Dahan is nothing more than a bully. His treatment of my niece in multiple occasions has been poor at best. All the other coaches are fantastic for the most part. Just beware of Eyal Dahan and his bullying ways.
Coach Donny is the best!!!
