I love this place generally, the events are fun and the food is great, over priced but great. Now I do have one complaint. I was interested in working there on the rink. When I asked a worker about it there reply was simple, You can work here at 16 but only males work the rink. I was puzzled and ask around more to come to the conclusion that the owner is sexist.
Their food is horrible at this location, the people that work at the front ticket office seem to be so miserable with their job they can’t even smile. Their music is terrible you can’t even make requests. It’s so amazing that they even charge you for three-year-old that’s not even Skating, and ask for their mask policies hardly no one even wears them on the floor or even when I get off the floor not very safe for my family to be there god for bid they caught Covid! We are willing to drive across town to go to the Boulder Highway location which I heard you have to have a mask when you’re skating on the floor, which My family appreciates safety, is our number one priority and fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
As a local that grew up skating, this place is truly nostalgic. The family owned atmosphere is felt throughout your experience and they have something for everyone. Expect it to be busy on most nights, but the prices are reasonable, even if you decide to rent out the whole place for your own party. Now with Thursday nights being adult skate, they have knocked it out of the park!
Amazing!!! Food and Drinks available! Haha the people there are very kind and understanding.... just make sure you bring a little extra money for food and drinks... and please wear a mask in! They check your temperature to make sure your alright and after that they let you in 13 without skates 10 with skates! You can take your mask off on the floor but if you have a weak immune system please think about wearing it the whole time... they give amazing service!!
Thursday Adult Skate Night is #FitForTheQueen and so much fun! I thought I would need the Skate Mate, but I am too tall but didnt need it!!! #TheMrAndMrsDunn
Staff was greatnow Los Angeles, get this $8 with sk8s and a 2 piece pizza ticket, and a drink, clearly worth are fifteen dollars at World on Wheels, HELP SAVE WORLD ON WHEELS
At the moment due to Covid I have to knock this place down a star for health. Masks arent mandatory apparently and the tables are kept dirty. The place is really fun for skating beginners and advanced, kids have fun too! Can someone times get crowded, and staff can be lazy. Otherwise, Crystal Palace is a great place to unwind and get into flow state; with music to match.
It was going really well but then I sprained my ankle haha, they didnt have much of a first aid and kinda just pretended like safety wasnt all that important but honestly its my fault, but before that accident I had a lot of fun with my friend! The place is pretty clean and its so beautiful and bright! The pizza was also pretty good still trying to recover tho, its a fun story to tell
The kids did not want to leave. However you have to have cash once you get to the back.. they even charge a price if you use a credit or debit card. Then you have to take money and pay for that out of the atm. Thats why I gave them 3 stars it shouldnt cost so much!
I took my grandkids skating they loved it since we are in a pandemic mask wearing is necessary
Fun there with my man and my best friend Kimmy
There food and games werent all that great but the family had some fun skating
Love this place! Always have fun with friends and family rollerblading and roller skating. They play all my favorite music and it’s super cool especially when it’s 100 plus degrees outside here in Las Vegas! They have a good deal and fun games and prizes like limbo, races, dice game, and hokey pokey plus chicken dance. The only con is when it’s very crowded with several summer day camps all there at once, like yesterday, and kids are going the wrong way and not following the rules, but the staff really does a great job at maintaining order and safety for everyone. There’s lots of seating to eat and hang out if you don’t want to skate but I prefer skating and I love watching the kids and adults who are amazing skaters just gliding all around and skating like pros! Wish I could skate like some of them and do all those trick moves and skate dancing! So cool to see that while I rollerblade. It’s a great workout and so much fun! My kids love it, too!
We had our Sons 6th birthday party at Crystal Palace and everyone had a great time. We had the party table for 2.5 hours but could stay as l9ng as we wanted to skate. The chicken fingers and mozzarella cheese sticks were yummy! The staff was helpful too.
The staff is helpful from beginning to end. The refs on the rink are great when they see you fall. I think the activities they have in between everyone being on the floor is encouraging for beginners and new goal setting for experienced skaters. The food service isnt too great I guess when they were short staffed. Its a no filter kind of work environment giving young -ins a chance to work. So everything is audible. The toys are pretty over priced but I think it would be like that no matter where you went. I think for todays day and age plastic should be more widely accepted besides at the entrance. But they do have an ATM located near the skates that takes care of the issue of no cash. Its a great place to have fun and be a kid all over again.
Music is better on Boulder Hey, but Ranchos facility is nicer. Rancho also has the roller skate trainers for children, but Boulder doesnt.
We had such a good time! Music was a good mix. It was fun!
Our group had a great time. We will definitely do it again.
Very horrible experience.... they had water all of the bathroom, the bathroom stalls are not fixed and and a girl was peeking at my daughter through the stall. Very horrible service my daughter tried to talk to the manager and he just turned his back away and walked. They aren’t serious about their money.
Can’t believe you take advantage of a national crisis and charge to now even skate, have you ever heard of charging maybe a dollar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you don’t make it threw all this mess, bad form to this company
But I must say there not taking the virus serious.... Almost everyone inside are NOT wearing a mask.....
Great family fun. Well maintained facilities, all staff were friendly and helpful. Food was typical. Good music selection and saftey measures were in place for all level of skill. Skate equipment rental available with everything in good condition. The best part is the awesome pricing. This place is a strong supporter of local schools, so lets support our local business owners and roll on over with the family.
Celebrating a Birthday, fun time for the family. Food court is a bit expensive.
Had a blast. A great way to tire out the whole family.
Nice crowd and good music.. havent been to a true adult session
As a longtime skater, I love that we still have skating rinks in Vegas. We frequently take kids skating here. The problem is the ventilation system. They cook food in there and it smells strongly of old oil and burnt food; so much so that it burned my eyes. It would be nice if it had a complete overhaul and thorough cleaning. That atmosphere is fun and clearly everyone there is enjoying a fun night of skating!
Wish they had debit or credit instead of just paying cash. More protection on skating rin for beginners.
The atmosphere is great! They have intermissions every now and then for a special activity like age group racing and limbo! They have snacks for sale and roller skates/blades for rent. There are no ins and outs (except for parents), and the lockers they provide cost 50 cents. Nice employees too!
So much fun!!!!! They even have it where kids race towards the end :)
Floors are getting slick again
Its a good place to come and skate. The music selection is good. Everyone seems to have a really good time. So why would I rate it 3 stars? The only thing I want to bring to everyones attention is that they do not sanitize the skates after they are turned in. I saw a number of skates being collected and put right back on the shelf to be given to the next person. Best to bring your own skates or wear two pairs of socks to avoid athletes feet/foot fungus!
Such a cute fun place for ANY age!
Had a great time with my grand kids
Fun place to skate, remember only cash for food bar.
Despite a recent termination Crystal PalaceLocated on N Rancho Dr. will remain My/The place to skate in Las Vegas NV.I started skating here very young always just a customer, skate closing ended up wanting to roll home fell in love seeing what I wanted to learn how to do on skates & eventually learned what a journey hope another person gets the same enjoyment. However on the flip side working at the rink is what youd expect they give a generous amount of hours when available guess my only gripe is parts of management theyll let other employees grab whatever food they want whenever but if a team member dont like you expect a write up
We had my daughters 10th birthday here on a Sunday night. We did the package where we had the whole place to ourselves. Everyone had so much fun! The place was clean and Tyler was very helpful. We highly recommend doing this. We will be doing this again in the future.
There was alot of people and alot of people falling.
They are not enforcing the mandated masks or social distancing like they say on their website. They are lying and putting children at risk during this pandemic.
Courteous employees...nice place overall
Nice place to take the kids on a hot day.Classic skating rink (neon, disco ball, black lights etc). Lots of fun for the kids.Everything was very clean and the staff were friendly. Food is standard fare great for a skating rink (pizza, hot dogs, nachos etc). The skate rental was included in the $12 admission and skates seemed very new and in good condition. The have plenty of the walker type things you can rent if one of kids isn’t comfortable skating and needs some practice.
Awesome place to skate. Had lots of fun and the musics was nice too. One downside is their lockers. We rented out one and the key wouldn’t turn. Each time when we had to open the locker, we also had to pay another quarter because it keeps getting stuck. Other people around us had the same problem. They should look into getting it fixed instead of having people put in a quarter every single time to open the locker.
Could care less about people not wearing masks. Saw about 1/3 of adult guests not wearing them.
Great time with my 3 kids. Even my 3 year old got to skate. Disco, races, games, COTTON CANDY...so much fun. 4 stars only because they do not have enough size 7-9 skates. Especially for larger events, such as the one we attended for her Jnr high.
Is good to famlly time
My kids love it here
Me and my friends love this spot to hang out at... family friendly place all ages really... I really enjoy the time when I am there... great food for a roller skating rink and great service... I love this places
My family comes here for the skate night put on by my childrens school. The staff is friendly and the rink and eating areas are always clean. I need to visit outside of school event to compare but my kids always have fun.
We had fun. Not like it was when we were kids. We had wayyy better music in the 90s to skate to. And it was just 90s music. We always jammed around the rink to some good 80s too. Not one good skate song lol. But still fun! Price was decent.
Great place to take the kids! Check out their weekly deals! I was able to get entrance fee, skate rental, 2 pizza slices, and a drink for 9 bucks a person. They even have skate assistant carts for the young ones to help them learn.
Music and food selection couldve been better.
Ive been skating at this place since I was 8, now Im 41 and its still so much fun. Watching my daughter (whos 8 now) having so much fun with me and my family. Hopefully crystal palace will be around for another 30 years
Fun. The staff is professional and courteous.
Very clean, beautiful shiny wood floor, reasonable prices.
Fun place! Family had a great time. They have food drinks soda and novelty gifts.for the little kids learning how to skate they have a walker that they can take great on the skating rink to help them go around and it really helped my little one
It was sooooooo nice to see families out enjoying themselves and not worrying about anything everyone seemed happy and relaxed it was fun We will definitely be going back
I want to give this place 5 stars but the food is disappointing and the portion is so small for the money. Great DJ and fun games and the skate is in great shape.
Cool place they charge way to much for birthday parties .. skate rental for adults not to bad $13 good music to skate too as well. Food a little over priced but it was clean easy to get in and out of parking was good. Area of location ok
Fun atmosphere, except last Sunday there was a rude woman working at the snack bar. Maybe she was having a bad day but she wasn’t very nice. A lot of little kids on the weekend which is understandable but sometimes dangerous.
Super clean, fun, and friendly for private parties! We just went to our 2nd private party here and it did not disappoint!
I still get flashbacks of my childhood here. The kids love it. Homeschool skate ever 3rd Friday is an excellent deal
Kids had a great time here. Would come again.
Daughter likes it. Clean place. But no amenities for the parents. No wifi, 1 bar on Verizon, no place to charge your phone.
Nice clean fun. Old school, affordable, nice staff.
This place is so dope! Ive been so many times, in the future! Caesers? Naw. Its Crystal Palace, skate your tweakend away
A pretty cool little skating rink. The kids love it. A ton of fun for everyone. The pizza is garbage though.
I loved this place so much, its a cool place to hang out with your friends and family, and also to have birthday parties
Our go-to place to roller skate in Vegas! Kids always love it, and its a fun throw- back to earlier times for the parents. It can get a little crowded during peak hours, but the Saturday morning and noon birthday parties are just open to the parties -- leaves the rink wide open and a lot of fun!
Oh my goodness, I haven’t been roller skating since I was in elementary school! I took my 5 kids, that have never been roller skating before. They range in age from 6-15. I rented the little rolling walkers for my 3 youngest kids, for the first hour, and it really helped get them comfortable with skating. We all had sooo much fun!!! We spent 5 hours there and I had to practically drag my kids off the rink. My kids wanted to go back the next day, but my old body needed some recovery! It’s a great exercise!!! We will definitely be back!
Great experience and service, genuine place for entertainment
Just your normal skating rink for kids. Pretty cool, no issues, clean and the staff get things done without waiting forever. Plus they actually seem to care about their jobs, which isnt always the way at childrens places...
Asked to leave because we have a small certified support dog. Employee apologized but the owner has them pretty intimidated. Very crowded and poorly managed. Dirty and smelly too. We will be filing them in violation of the Americas with disabilities act. Please do not support this facility until they adjust their policy. As you can see by the owners response, he has no compassion and is uninformed. We were already inside and out grandchildren were skating. I cant leave them there to take my disabled wife and her support dog home. He obviously has had bad experiences with people trying to game the system and has no heart for those who are really in need. Sad. I still say shame on him for his callous heart and disappointing 2 small kids.
Really nice wood floor
Cool but ...
Wonderful time gettin my roll on
Clean, large skating area, nice lighting. A big step up from the one my child used to go to. Great place for kid parties.
This was a nice skating rink, but this little kid was trying to get a SpongeBob figure out of one of the dispensers and it didnt work so he got an employee and the employee told the kid that he couldnt couldnt get a refund or the employee couldnt open the machine I think that was a really bad thing he could have helped thats my personal opinion but everything else was okay
You will NEVER regret it. This place is always a blast!
Clean, super nice staff and it felt like a safe environment for my son
Mellow and food was cheap and good. Enjoyed skating again after not doing so for 20 years.
My neice had the best birthday party. Early wasnt too busy and the kids had a BLAST.
Great place to go have fun and spend time with friends and family.
Make sure to look at their calendar. They have days that have great pricing and its worth taking advantage of that. The food is not great. There are lockers available for $.50. And they have a coin machine there. They have skate mates to rent to help little ones. They also have some claw machines and little toys you can buy. Most items are priced insanely high.
Great service and workers are good at what they do. Someone took my Daughters skates and when I approached the desk about the situation without hesitation, they gave her a new pair. THANK YOU, ERICA
Lots of family fun! Average prices, nice staff. We visit several times a year.
Nice place to skate ! However, the restroom did disappoint, but hey ... We are at a kids skating ring. Other than that, great time !
So. Much. Fun. Love this place! Brings me back to when I was a kid! The environment is clean, fun and the staff and owners are awesome! Would definitely recommend!
It was fun but....This was my first time going skating it was really fun but the employee didn’t let me use one of those things to hold on to for beginners because APPARENTLY I’m to old just because we’re old doesn’t mean we can skate me and my other sister we’re both denied to get one. The stupid thing is that on a sign it says if you have not skating skills don’t skate but they put that inside the actual place so we had no idea. Me and my sister fell about 100 times, if you don’t want people to get hurt then why didn’t you give us one??? The staff is really rude and very moody like he is kinda sad. I do recommend going to this place but I guess if your older than 7 don’t try to get one of the helper things.
The person who tip the employe only got the beginer walker/ bord / what ever you call it ...
Went for the first time tonight after about 20 years. I went here as a kid back then and had fun! Im giving 5 stars for what I experienced tonight. The wood rink is amazing and smooth! I noticed people dancing outside the center area, which puts them and others skating around the rink in a bit of danger for a collision. You definitely need to be extremely aware of your surroundings. That also goes for the lack of controlling the direction of skating. Kids and adults alike were skating opposite of the flow. Again that could be a bad situation. People with head phones on, because I guess they didnt like the music, I didnt mind it, heck I barely listened to it. Im not dropping stars because it is our responsibility as skaters to be aware of our surroundings and paying attention to avoid others. Lockers are available for $.50, and there is a coin machine to put a dollar in. Its a skate rink, always bring cash, they take card at the door for an over $ amount for someone buying several skate session. I didnt pay much attention to it since I already knew to bring cash. I paid $10 to skate all day, which is a good price for a Saturday. There was plenty of kids out numbering us adults out there, but I thought is was cool to see theyre keeping skating rinks alive. Everyone was having a great time and it was a cool vibe. I had a coke, it was good and not flat. A large was $3.50 cash. Its a skating rink expect to pay more. Not sure if you can bring in food and drinks, I didnt ask or try. I loved, and I mean loved the neon Vegas skyline artwork on the back turn of the rink! That was pure B.A. artwork! Its the best rink Ive been to, as far as that floor and artwork are concerned. The lighting was nice and disco like. It got crowded but I was still able to skate and enjoy it. I saw the little ones using the skatemates to assist them learning. A good option for parents teaching the little ones not to hold their hands forever and learn to be dependent on skates. Rollerblading out numbers skating but it didnt take away from my fun and well needed workout. It is unseasonably cooler around here than usual, its June and it was only 90 degrees today, so the building was cool enough, even with all the Saturday crowd. All in all, I loved it. I wanted to check it out because Im starting to teach my 5 year old daughter to skate. I will be bringing her here, and Ill also be back for more sessions. Very cool place, I recommend it.
Nice rink, loved the artwork inside and all of the lights above the floor, great aesthetic. Only “complaint” was that the music wasn’t very loud and when asked about song requests, the gentleman in the DJ booth was a little rude to us but I know how stressful it can be to work at a skating rink so I won’t make assumptions. We thought it was strange that they don’t play certain genres of music..we can understand not playing metal when families are around but refusing to play appropriate rap/hip-hop/r&b songs altogether? Strange policy. Nice rink, we’ll swing by if we are ever in Vegas again.
