Everything about Penn & Teller is first class! The Theater is fabulous and the show cannot be faulted.Unlike a lot of Vegas acts, they routinely change the show so its always worth going back to see them again.Come early for the Jazz music with Mike Jones and Penn! And and the end of the show, they wait in the lobby for autographs and pictures.Penn & Teller are the finest magicians working today. And both of them are a class act and great human beings.HIGHLY recommended.
Amazing show, we got there eirly and got some upgraded seats, the drinks were a little exspensive 6.50 for a sprite but you get to keep the penn&teller cup afterwards . The show its self was great and very funny and many of the tricks i could not figure out .the best part tho is after the show you get to meet penn&teller for pictures and autographs afterwards
It was a late show 9:00 p.m.. Dont know if that had anything to do with anything, wasnt the best show Ive ever seen, was a couple real good laughs however. Theyve been together 44 years, so, probably tough to keep it super fresh all the time. The fish trick was incredible, impromptu man on the street shtick was laugh out loud funny!
This was loads of fun. Parking was free in the lot on the north east side. The entrance is on the southwest corner of the lot which led almost strait into the theater. We arrived early, probably didnt have to, its reserved seating. But it was fun seeing and reading the things in the lobby before they let us in the theater. The show was great, and of course meeting Penn and Teller after was super awesome. Highly recommend. If you want to have a chance at getting pulled on stage, sit in the front third.
It was a good show. The cost was $195. The show was 1 Hour 30 Minutes. It was pretty entertaining. The show feels alot like what you would expect. I would expect a Vegas show to be over the top. I have seen most shows on Vegas strip and this one is more intimate. This like watching it on TV but in real life. Penn does all the talking and a lot of the magic while teller does most of the comedy and magic. If you are a big definitely attend and if you like magic tricks yes. 4/5 is good.
Exciting show with favorites Penn & Teller! Just like Apple Pie and Ice Cream - they go together! Magic fun and lots of laughs! Thanks for a great show!!! Bling Blinky of Texas Shout Out: Great American Comedy Duo!!!
We really enjoyed ourselves during the show. Magic and comedy act. My favorite part? When I got to take a picture with Penn! So very awesome, he seems super nice!!!
Its great to see these guys.. favorite comedian/magicians of all time. The unique style of comedy incorporated into magic along with the chemistry Penn & Teller have together, creates an experience you cant get anywhere else just by watching other people perform the same tricks. The show didnt feel long at all, but it was. So thats a good thing, and I got to see some new magic tricks they have been working on which is cool! The smile they get from seeing a fan is always so great, these guys arent just regular celebrities, they are grateful and worked hard for what they have. Lots of respect for their work.Side note: my dad knew Teller a long time ago when he worked in animatronics for a haunted house. Im the reason we decided to go, me and him mutually were excited to see that show!
Good to see the famous Penn and Teller live. The show was great. The magic was excellent. Only one small dull moment. The ball misdirection trick from the pocket. It was long, old and slow. Other than that great time. Full house. Worth the price.
Disappointing.- After seeing so much publicity, I was curious to see this show, of which I can say I was disappointed because my expectations were very high, since Penn and Teller are 44 years old performing their show and expected spectacular tricks and to show their experience The magic tricks were at the beginner level. Penn has a very good sense of humor and what to say about the pianist, who since you arrive delights you with jazz. I do not recommend this show and the cost is the same as the spectacular show that is worth it in Las Vegas.
Penn & Teller are very generous philanthropists in the Vegas community. Often times they give out tickets to their show for free for doing things like donating blood.Show is decent for all ages and you wont hear any proselytizing despite Penn being a very outspoken Atheist. There is even an interactive magic trick for everyone in the audience to partake in, but somehow it didnt actually work for me or my husband. Its nice to sit through a show on the Vegas Strip that isnt $500 for a pair of good seats or isnt 90 minutes of sexual jokes.
Such a great time here, Penn and Teller were awesome! There magic show is so REAL! However I do recommend spending the extra money to get closer seating as to be more involved in the performance, although the mezzanine seating was still a great experience, if your going for your 1st time and taking your teens with you, spend the extra cash for the closer seats, also they pose for pictures following the show which was also super awesome and you can go on stage prior to the show to check out their props.
Their show is not only hilarious, but its also some of the best magic Ive ever seen. They are truly one of the best acts in Vegas. The sets they have are amazing and really set the atmosphere of the act. The stage lights and projectors make it easy to see them even from the very back.See these amazing performers if you have the chance.Sometimes after the show Penn will meet with the fans. Its a very humbling experience to see someone so humble. He is extremely kind.
Absolutely an amazing show. There really isnt a bad seat in the whole place. The show was entertaining and never had a lull. Penn and Teller did a great job of having active participation from the audience. After the show they both bolted out the entrance, which I thought was a little strange, but then they stood out in the hallway and took selfies with anyone who was waiting. Freaking fantastic and will 100% go watch them again!
Good magic show in Vegas. These guys have a lot of experience in their art so must pay a visit at least once. Can buy same day tickets but they sell out fast sometimes depends on seasonality.
The Penn and Teller show at the Rio in Las Vegas was a very fun and exciting show! Well worth the money! The best part is that they personally meet and greet with everyone after their show! The awesome pre-show features Penn playing the bass in the Jazz Band. A must-see!
It was Penn & Friends since Teller was getting back surgery. It was GREAT! I took my three boys and they loved it!
What an amazing show! They had audience participation and kept everyone o their toes with what they would do next! The trick with the fish was my favorite!!
Super entertaining show! Penn and Teller did a fantastic job. My wife and I laughed a lot and were legitimately amazed!
Their show is so worth it! I am so glad I got to see it before the Rio is demolished. A lot of new material, some great social-political messages, and they come out to meet you after the show and do selfies.
Best magic show Ive ever seen in my life. They did a great job explaining how the tricks are done and then still doing the tricks in an impressive way. They have a variety of acts that each almost lampoon common magic tricks. Teller is really really great; a master magician.
Great show and super nostalgic. The show holds up after all these years the guys still got it. We went to a Sunday show and the house was packed. Lots of great drinks and the price of tickets was really great too. Highly recommend!
Penn & Teller will never disappoint. The show will have you entertained from start to finish. Ive been to the show quite a few times since I started going to Vegas. They both come out at the end of the show along with Mike Jones to take pictures & sign autographs for anyone who wants to meet them. Definitely a MUST if youre ever in Vegas.
90 minute show absolutely flew by. Penn was playing bass fiddle on stage before the show. After the show, you can meet both performers just outside the theater concourse. Still trying to figure out how they made the elephant disappear!
I saw Penn and Tellers show during my trip to Las Vegas and it was fantastic. If recommend finding your seats at least an hour early. Mike Jones and Penn are on the stage playing before the show and worth going early to enjoy the music. When I went they also invited people on stage to look at something that became park of the act (no spoilers!).The show itself was funny, well executed, and there was a tremendous amount of audience interaction. If youre interested in increasing your chance of being chosen to be part of the act book early to try to get seats in rows A-I.Penn, Teller, and Mike Jones all stay after the show for pictures and autographs. Theyre extremely friendly and I had fun both getting photos with them and listening to them interact with the people taking pictures with them ahead of me.Overall, this show is a must see. I had a great time and will be going back for sure.
Really fun evening watching Penn and Teller. Not everything hit but the show was delivered with such heart and joy that it didnt really matter!
Awesome show, was well worth the money. Would definitely see again. So funny.
Attended recording of Penn & Teller Fool Us magic show where other magicians try to fool them. Very enjoyable but, like all TV show recording sessions, be prepared for long waits between the action; the host did a good job of entertaining us during breaks, but be prepared for a 3-4 hour session... I love good quality magic, so found the show entertaing and informative. Ive also attended several regular Penn & Teller shows and loved every one for the quality magic as well as viewpoints on life and how not to be swindled!
Absolutely love these guys, if you see the show run out the back for a quick photo:)
A great theater and a great show. This was my second time seeing P&T at this theater, and it was well worth the cost of admission both times. The theater is located on the lower level of The Rio All Suites Hotel and Casino. The theater has its own bar station that has an assortment of beers and custom cocktails that are served in commemorative P&T cups. My only complaint, and this is only a minor inconvenience, is the ticketing booth. If you need to pick up tickets before the show the line will get extremely long. Make sure you show up early. Otherwise Id recommend this for anyone with a love of classic magic with a modern tongue in cheek twist.
A FANTASTIC show that you will never forget.
Best show that I could have ever chosen during my stay here in Vegas. They are so friendly and definitely know how to relate to their audience.
The Penn and Teller show over Christmas in Las Vegas had to change up, because Teller needed to focus on his health. We hated to miss out on Teller, but we knew any show of Penn and Tellers would be good, so we turned down the offer to get a refund on the show. Mac King, Matt Donnelly, and Georgie Bernasek were so entertaining! They interacted with the audience by going out into the crowd and by bringing people on stage. They included children as well, our 7 year olds and teens had a blast! We saw slight of hand, card tricks, juggling, fire eating, mind reading, and we laughed the entire time because each performer was a fabulous comedian. If you have a chance to see Penn and Friends, do it!
Greatest show weve ever seen. Beyond talented and funny, it was fantastic meeting them after show!
Wow, huge disappointment. I really love these guys and was expecting so much more. Not sure why they didnt do any of their big production tricks. Appreciated the autograph signing after the show but this was a fail.
Very nice theater. Great show. Penn and Teller really got the audience involved and it was a lot of fun. They even greeted the crowd exiting the theater and took selfies with the audience. I got on stage for one segment and got a picture with Penn after the show. Really enjoy the experience.
The show was absolutely amazing! It was the perfect blend of comedy and magic that only Penn and Teller can provide. Went to the show with my boyfriend and after the show we even got to talk with them briefly and take some pictures. Would definitely go again.
Ive enjoyed this act for more than 30 years. Seeing them live in Vegas was on my bucket list. It didnt disappoint. 4th row seats and we still couldnt figure out the magic tricks!
Loved their show. Have been a long time fan and was so excited to see them. They make it very personal by calling everyone on stage before the show to check out their props. Also for every act the pull people on stage. Teller even pulled a girl sitting next to us. At the end they wait in the lobby to meet anyone who wants a photo. So with it and will be back again. Thanks for a great time!
This is the only truly must-see show in Vegas. These two have incredible chemistry and stage presence, so there is no shortage of just general entertainment. That said, the magic tricks they perform and the commentary that goes alongside are both spectacular. At the show I went to, they happily explained some of their tricks and even made some pop-culture and slightly politically-tinged comedic commentary to go alongside a couple of the tricks (nothing too overt, however). The show was most mild but there were a couple of swear words and slightly suggestive themes, so keep that in mind for kids, depending on your parenting preferences. The ending of the show as I saw it was quite impressive and left me in awe and wondering how they performed it.Oh, and if you are a fan.. both Penn and Teller waited outside the theater and took selfies with everyone that wanted to. Well worth it the wait!If you see nothing else in Vegas, definitely check out this show.
Highly entertaining. Penn and Teller succeed in creating an intimate magic show in a large theater. They are also known to graciously stick around after the show for photos and autographs. Highly recommend seeing these veteran entertainers who have been working their magic for over 40 years!
This review is more of a show review than a theater review. The Theater is standard and pretty nice. However my family and I were very disappointed with the show. We know Penn and Teller are experienced and seasoned performers but the show was just extremely boring and the magic seemed to be kept at a minimum. They explained that most of the tricks were works in progress and they were testing them out with the audience, but still we didnt pay for a show to be Guinea pigs. If this was the case then the tickets should have been discounted or there should have been a good mix of testing vs validated tricks. Anyway, I looked over and my parents and sister were falling asleep for the majority of the show...
This SHOULD get 5 stars as its a GREAT show that you absolutely should go see when youre in Vegas. But the first time I went was a weekend show and they definitely up their game for the big weekend shows. The second time we went mid week and while the show was still great, you could tell that some of the tricks were just not as polished as what they do on the weekends.Make sure you get there early to go up on the stage beforehand, and stay at the end and meet with P&T in the hallway. hey love talking to the guests and taking selfies with everyone. Makes for a great night!
Not family friendly. They speak poorly of anyone who didnt share their atheistic point of view. Great allusions and awesome act, but take your negative religious perspective out of your act. It cost you a star.
They are the Master of magic. My recommendation is to book your tickets far in advance. Their show is always sold out. I was truly entertained and humored. The meet and greet at the end of the show was a wonderful experience.
These guys are outstanding! I’ve seen a bunch of their stuff on tv before but never live until now. The pre-show is Penn and a great jazz pianist playing live jazz. The actual show runs about 90 minutes or so, and is lots of fun. Tricks often involve audience members, and one of the tricks involved the whole audience. I won’t give anything away but the tricks are impressive and the performance is very entertaining. It’s family friendly, not scary, but lots of fun. My biggest takeaway was that Penn and Teller are very classy people. They both stayed after the show to sign things and take photos. They stayed until everyone had a chance to see them, and I mean everyone - they didn’t rush anyone through. They waited until everyone had a chance to take photos and get signatures, which must have been at least 30-45 minutes extra for them. Very classy and humble entertainers. I highly recommend them.
Absolutely awesome. They dont keep the same routine so its always something new or fresh. An added bonus is its comedy in addition to everything. Had me laughing and scratching my head trying to figure out just how they did it. If youre in Vegas, their show is a must see.
Great show! Thought after all these years they would lose the pizazz, but these guys are just as awesome and mind-bending as ever! Definitely a staple of the Vegas experience, I would highly recommend it to anyone who hasnt seen it!
Penn and Teller never disappoint. They kept the crowd engaged and to my surprise, were available for photos after the show to whomever wanted to take photos with them. Two thumbs up to Penn and Teller!!!
Lots of Fun to see a great legendary Vegas act. I like Pens commentary and how he has 43 years experience in professional magic. Need to see them at least once in your lifetime!
Loved the show and audience participation. Get there early for the full experience. Bring something like a book or pictures for them to sign autographs after the show. You may also get the opportunity for a selfie with Penn or Teller. Well worth the price of a ticket. Bring the kids if you like they might get the chance too do a little magic.
Great show as always! Very funny and amazing magic.
Penn and Teller are awesome. Great show great time. They took time afterwards to get photos and do autographs with everyone who wanted to.
Awesome show with Penn and Friends (Teller recovering from back surgery). We laughed a lot and would happily go back any time.If youre thinking to skip it due to Teller being on recuperation then youll miss a really good show.
Even though Teller wasnt performing due to back surgery, it was a great show. Second time seeing them, and wont be my last! Definitely a must see magic show if youre in Vegas.
Great show! Very cool that P&T make themselves available after the show to meet the fans. Got our pic with Penn. Very cool guy!
Extremely entertaining show. We love watching them on TV and we were not disappointed!
Best magic show hands down! We got photos with both Penn & Teller as well as getting our tickets signed! Definitely would go see them again.
Good magic. Fun, amazing. You are able to meet and greet after the show. No special arraignments requiredThat is soooooo cool of them
I absolutely loved this show. Not even just the magic, their personalities are the best, the show kept us laughing and amazed the entire time. I would recommend that anybody with even a passing interest in magic and showmanship should see this show.Stick around after the show and you may even get a picture with each of them.10/10 highly recommended.
Incredible!! Great show. So entertaining. Teller is recovering from successful back surgery. The Penn n Friends show was really good. Get well soon, Teller!!
Penn and Teller made our night magical. They really put on a great show and Im so glad that we got to see them while we were in Vegas this time. Fully recommend.
Penn and Teller always put on a great show. I have seen them three times (now four) over the years and their show keeps evolving and changing. A mix of old favorites and new tricks to keep things interesting!
I absolutely loved Penn & Tellers show. Id seen them on TV and YouTube before but never live. They were funny and left me wondering how they did most of their illusions. I definitely want to see them again and get some of the merchandise they have available outside of the theatre.
Awesome show! They are super entertaining, and just fun to watch! They also stay out in the lobby after the show to take pictures and sign things for everyone who wants. They seemed like very class act guys!
Pretty good show I went in really excited for it but felt like it was a short show and ended up alittle underwhelmed. They are an iconic duo dont get me wrong the show was good I think I just went in with too high of expectations.
As always this ever - evolving show brings you new laughs each time you watch it. These guys are a fun bunch and I never miss an opportunity to see them perform!
Amazing experience and absolutely must see show. Best magicians in Vegas that combine magic with great humor great entertainment. If you only have time for a single show in Vegas this is the one to go. They change their act often so its always fresh, unlike others that have been performing the same stuff for decades.
Excellent show from two of the most famous magicians ever. Their unique balance of comedy and magic will bring a smile to faces young and old. Plus, they actually will spend time after the show to meet their fans. Legends of the trade who are probably the only reason that the Rio is still alive being off The Strip.
Really a fun experience. The chemistry and magic between Penn and Teller is a wonderful show, it was an experience I looked forward to for a long time and my expectations were more than met. Thank you gentlemen.
Penn and Teller are amazing. I have always been a big fan and for our first visit to Vegas we had to go see them live. They are so much fun and so entertaining. We sat in the 2nd row and the view of the performance was great. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are also some of the friendliest celebrities, after every show they stand outside and meet the fans and take selfies. They go out of their way to make their fans happy.
Great entertainers and good tricks. Ive seen them before and they changed some things up which was nice. They also had some good audience participation and did a good card trick with everyone. The only thing I didnt care for was the poking fun at religion.
Phenomenal show end to end from the living legends of stage magic. I was worried about Tellers back injuries holding back the performance but it was absolutely perfect! They reformulated the show to no longer require him to turn into a pretzel and the new material is very very good!
Awesome experience... wanted VIP from row but it was sold out so got 7th row and the closer you are to the stage the better the experience will be... I love them... they getting old so catch them while you can!
Five stars isnt enough. The doors open at 2000 with Mike Jones playing piano while Penn plays bass. The jazz is good and there is a great vibe in the air. When the show starts it shows just how good these guys really are. Children are encouraged to be on stage for a number of illusions. After the show the pair sign autographs and talk with the fans. The only time limit seems to be courtesy as they have a down to Earth feel. The show was over at 2215 but the guys were still signing autographs and talking to fans at 2300. Easily worth the ticket price and more
I love magic and have enjoyed all Vegas shows I have been to, including other magic shows-Copperfield- and this show is just boring. I hate to give a bad review bc I have never done that, but not 1 magic or illusion trick was near the level of Copperfield, both from a creative standpoint of the magic and the showmanship itself. I would not recommend nor pay again.
Awesome! Worth the Money! Great Entertainment! I Highly Recommend checking Penn & Teller out. They are by far the best Magicians in Vegas.
Show was very entertaining and kept me asking myself--howd they DO that! A great way to spend the evening!
Im more rating the show. Penn and Teller were amazing. So personable, fun, and the magic was incredible. They never once belittled someone to get a laugh, and that is huge for me. They are genuinely funny and totally magic. Okay to sit up close, you wont regret it.
Can you say overrated? Really a mediocre show at best. I was board halfway through and actually thought about leaving. Not sure how Penn and Teller became so iconic with this type of show. Perhaps there shows might been better in the years past.If you’re looking to waste time and money in Vegas this is the show for you!My recommendation hard pass…
If you are fan of Penn & Teller then you want to see them. Unfortunately, most of the acts were on TV in FU. We couldn’t enjoy it fully.
Penn and Friends was great. However, now I want to see what the show would be like if it was Teller and Friends. Quieter, I imagine. Maybe will find out when the bottle juggling trick goes horribly awry.
Great show! They tested new material and it was excellent! Cant wait for fool us to come back!
Excellent show and Penn and Teller spend time meeting with the audience members after the show in the lobby. We got a picture with each of them and they signed our deck of cards. The show is upbeat and funny, with lots of audience involvement. I would definitely recommend this magic show over others. Penn and Teller are really fun and seem to love what they do.
Amazing show! Big laughs the whole time. Comedy and magic by and for intelligent people. Or people who want to be.
Genuinely caring guys. Penn and Teller were truly a sight. Very engaged with the audience using someone for every part. It was great to get up on stage and become part of the show. I will never forget how great they are.
Great show, had a wonderful time! The theatre isnt massive, so it has a really great atmosphere. Great for both young and old, especially because of the interaction with the audience. Thank you for a great time !
If you love magic and really want to be entertained then see Penn and Teller at the Rio. The show is funny and highly entertaining, its well worth the money. They definitely get the audience involved and my wife and I had a great time.
The show was hilarious and mesmerizing all at once. I love magic and the fact that these 2 are still doing shows practically every night! They are fantastic! I will definitely catch them again on my next visit!
These guys are awesome after all these years. Get there early to see Penn jamming on bass with the piano player. BTW, this is a real theatre, not the set they use for the Fool Us show. Not a bad seat in the house. Afterwards, to the guys were gracious to take selfies with everyone in the lobby. Awesome show guys.
Pure professionals. Got the chance to be in a taping of Fool Us. That was a lot of fun!
Amazing show, great music! They hung around after the show for a meet and greet as well. Great guys.
Cracking show, held at the Rio hotel. Great magic, fun and family friendly. Both of them took the time out to see everyone after the show, and quick chat & pictures, both very relaxed and funny, top score guys very professional, and great to see :))
Great show, be sure to get there early for the live jazz with Penn playing stand up bass
Went here for Rainbow 6 US Nationals. Clean, good amenities and plenty of helpful staff and options for food, drinks and of course gambling. The theater was used well for an esports show, and the seats were comfy.
Third time at Penn & Teller. These guys are so talented yet very approachable. Friendly as can be.I highly recommend you go see the show often as the acts they perform change all the time.
In my opinion, this was the best show I have ever seen but I have been a Pen & Teller fan for years!
I was absolutely blown away. These guys are the best in the world. Maybe of all time. I am going again. They let us take photos after with them. Class acts. What a memorable night. Never forget that. 10 stars.
Great show! If you arrive early you can see a small jazz session. It also allows you time to go on stage and checkout the props, prior to show. After the show ends the guys both hang in the foyer for signing and photo greets. Its really nice to see the time they take out for the fans. Photos of show and inside are not permitted.
Penn was surprisingly good on the bass. The show was perfect. They were amazing and met everyone after the show for no additional cost. Its very obvious why they are a continued staple in a town full of ever changing shows. Highly recommend!
