EXTREMELY unsafe school. So many issues have happened at the school in just one semester- Just look up the schools name and scroll through the news section of google. The school is a NIGHTMARE. I wouldnt ever wish for any person to end up having to go to this school, take the risk and drive an extra 5 minutes away and go to any of the neighboring highschools..

This school has opened up many opportunities to both its zoned and magnet students. The environment may seem intimidating at first, its backed by a staff that truly cares about the students and their interests. I am a theatre magnet student, and its backed by some of the most passionate and intelligent teachers I have encountered. They always open opportunities to the students and encourage them to always work hard and be the best they can be. Del Sol has also exposed me to be a better performer and has opened up many chances for me and other students to expand on what they love and grow to be better. All in all, this school is wonderful and I encourage anyone who is interested in performing arts to come to Del Sol Academy.

I. LOVE. THIS. SCHOOL. Our students have the most school spirit I’ve ever seen and they REALLY show their school spirit at assemblies. All of our teachers are amazing and I could never ask for a better staff!! LETS GO DRAGONS!!!

Okay I went to this school, and literally most of the students there have no respect for the teachers and staff. There were multiple fight. Kids cuss out the teachers and even the substitutes. Overall it is just a bad environment. I do not reccomend this school to any high schooler.

So this place is terrible right nowI carpooled To go get my children the school lunches they have for free and theWhite lady looked at us and said you guys need to have names and numbers on the piece of papers of everyone in the house hold mind the 3 other ladies in the car and my self had the students card and she threw the bags at us sadly this was my first and last time to go to this

They do not understand that some kids have bad mental health and will punish you for your emotions. The teachers pick favorites and the food is complete garbage.

I love DSA! It’s such and maxim school I’ve been a theatre major since freshman year and we have such an amazing program and the teacher is so helpful and you’ll learn soMuch by the end of the year. You’ll love it I promise

If you have any respect for yourself do not eat the food.Schools alright

Del sol has been nothing but good to me. I came here in my freshman year (currently a junior) and didn’t expect it to be anything fancy but I seen a world of opportunity at my fingertips. They offer a Magnet program in which every student could be active in their majors through out their entire education unlike other magnet performing arts schools in LAS VEGAS. ACADEMYS (Cough) often forget to include things like that. as a magnet student, you can also participate in sports and extracurricular activities. I feel that is important.

This school is so horrible it makes me wanna drop out . they expect too much out of their students and have way to high standards

My big sister goes their and she told me it a great school she just hates waking up early she also said the school is well designed and the teachers are serious about school. And their is no fights at del sol

Education is subpar which is, I imagine, why theyre going to Academy status (victims of NCLB funding woes). That doesnt change the fact that the children are ill-equipped for further educational opportunities and many will not subsequently be afforded such opportunities.As an academy, if I understand correctly, you will be able to choose if your child will attend... Choose well!

I moved here to Vegas from the suburbs of Portland and went to this school when I was a freshman and I had a lot of fun teachers were good and helped you out and went here from August of 2009 to June of 2010 overall i like that school

Not going to lie, this school has nothing going for it. Its rude to its students, the education system is pretty bad. and they low key are hiding drop out rates. As a person with a medical condition, I was denied access to the nurses office by several teachers, they have no respect for their students and only care about how they are a academy with their stupid #ownit.

I have been going to del sol for all my four years and i can say truely with full sincerity that this school has made me proud i have come to see this school improve soo much i am currently involved in the theater program i had fun in both the best buddies club for disabled students and NHS as well as the high school improv club i have been in ap classes since my sophomore year and i can say that i think this is an amazing school

Im bout to be a Freshman at this school, looks awesome

Administrators do not value the mental health of students and go as far as to PUNISH students for depression and/ or anxiety
