Although most Las Vegas residents’ idea of Latin or South American fare begins and ends with the nearest Taco shop, a closer look at the local scene shows evidence of everything from Peruvian to Brazil and Argentina while Oiga,Mire,Vea has represented Colombia since the turn of the century.Located at 2580 South Decatur Boulevard since 2000, not far from West Sahara but somewhat hidden inside the South Sahara Pavilion, Oiga,Mire,Vea bills itself as the “first authentic Colombian restaurant to establish in Las Vegas,” and from the moment one enters it’s mini-mart foyer hospitality is at the forefront.Family owned and operated, with COVID-19 precautions finding all staff masked with sanitizer at-the-ready, it was via pre-order that two large bags were found sealed and ready to go, a quick perusal of the landscape finding not only an on-site bakery and packaged goods, but sizable dining room more than adequate for social distancing. Not an especially pretty spot, though a mural in the main room suggests lush landscapes and gorgeous architecture back home, it was less than ten minutes later that eight items were unpacked for sharing, first bites of a Papa Rellena seeing skin break crisp to fluffy Rice, Potatoes and mixed Meat within.Offering several housemade Condiments with the fare, vibrant green Chimichurri slanted more towards Garlic than heat a fine addition to warm Arepas or various Proteins, Pastel de Yucca from the bakery offer tremendous value on the dollar at nearly 8oz for $3.49 while those looking to eschew Rice should seek out Empandas that are remarkably rich but oilless for just $1.49 each.Onward to Entrees, several Social Media sources suggesting high prices in comparison to what is served, suffice it to say 4oz of overcooked Beef smothered in Sauce alongside three types of Carbs did not justify $13.99, though Colombia’s traditional Bandeja Paisa with Steak, Pork Rinds, Chorizo, Sausage and sides was a delicious deal for just three dollars more.A bit underwhelmed by Arroz con Pollo, the dearth of Poultry and previously frozen Vegetables doing little for otherwise enjoyable Rice, guests expecting a Mexican rendition of “Buñuelo” will possibly be disappointed by Oiga,Mire,Vea’s more savory version featuring Cornmeal plus Cheese and a texture not unlike Brazilian Pão de Queijo.
The food is delish, and the servings are very generous. Staff is super friendly. Nice place.
The flavors are definitely here and are certainly authentic. The staff is very welcoming and very nice, and apparently at night they have a adjacent area for which you can dance and drink as well! They even have Columbian trinkets and candies and snacks. Definitely a gem if you are looking for authenticity.
Want to eat an awesome sancocho? Go to Oiga Mire Vea Colombian restaurant.....and the service is great too....
A friend bought me here and I will say I was blown away. My friend is from Colombia so I knew it would be good but I was wholly unprepared for just how good it was. I had the lingea en salsa and it was perfect. The meat was fork tender and the salsa was just right. I highly recommend this place. Only one down side service is a little slow but still worth it.
The food was great! Make sure to order the liver dish
The food is awesome, the employes are very polite, very good service. Prices are very affordable, is always parking spaces available. Very nice place.
This place has been around for a while. The food is good but not what it used to be. We called on the phone and ordered and were told it would be ready in 25 minutes. 1 hour later it was ready and the bill was for 98.00. No problem paying 98.00 but when I got home and viewed my payment history they took out 118.00. We tipped them money, which honestly wasnt alot because we waited an hour for the food, but did not authorize 118.03. We will be going to Aracelys when they reopen.
I love this place!! GOOD FOOD AND VIBES!
Great food, just recommend to have a host to help you
I have given this place a chance SEVERAL times and this was the LAST. Ive come to know this place for being pricey and filling most of their entrees with rice to skimp out on other items. Today was where I drew the line! Having checked out all the other Colombian restaurants in Las Vegas and finding that they werent open due to the Pandemic, I decided to give this place another chance. I ordered a Consomé (aka soup), a Bandeja Paisa, and a 2L Apple soda. My BIGGEST let down was the soup (Consomé). While the flavor was good they charged $4 for a 8oz cup of soup with and arepa the of a LITTLE BITES muffin. Im used to the prices when ordering from Uber Eats, Postmates, or Grubhub, but was told if my order was more than $25 they would deliver them selves. Needless to say my order for 3 items was more than $25, it was $30 and I will list photos so you may be the judge of whether or not it was worth it.DEFINITELY THE LAST TIME I ORDER FROM HERE!If youre looking for GOOD Colombian food and would like to get your moneys worth I highly recommend BRASA ROJA or ARACELYS.
Delicious Colombian food! Try the diarly special, its a good deal, tasty food and good portions too. Love their Empanadas and buñuelos, with Colombian coffee of course Good parties every weekend.****Update July 23th 2019: Look your bill before pay they add table service $0.99 and a 2 liter soda is $8.
Delicious food and good atención nice place
Food ok but not the best ive had . They do have some columbian products for sell though. That you cant not normally find in regular stores. I will be going back. The staff was nice.
Great karaoke time. The music is great, but the food is ugli. Lost public lately because the dishes are old style. Is a restaurant and has to renew his menu. I like to go there but always ate somewhere before. Just drinks are good! Soon become just a bar. Sad for Colombians and others who like me want the music and karaoke. But not their food!
I took my parents to eat Latin food for the first time to this place. My dad ordered a plate that sounded very delicious and looked tasty on the menu picture. When the plate was brought out to the table, it looked nothing like in the picture. Parts of the food were missing and on top of that, parts of the food were uncooked. When we told the waitress, all she said was Ill let the cook know. Not even an apology. I work in the catering business and when things like this happen, you should please your client by bringing out another plate, or let them choose something else from the menu and on the house. Its the last time Im ever spending my precious money there.
Great tasting food at an affordable price. Highly enjoyed my drink and meal
Delicious great food and people
Good food. Awesome buñuelos
Great food...good price.
Very bad food and services
This place has the best Colombian food you will ever eat
Excellent experience.. The food is delicious. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWESOME AND THE ATMOSPHERE IS INCREDIBLE..
Food is delicious
Extremely expensive, I bought two bandeja paisas and one milanesa plate with a few drinks and the bill was $110 without tip. The place was completely empty when we arrived for lunch, but I never expected to pay gourmet prices at a two star restaurant. Do not visit this location, the Colombian food is not even authentic.
Very friendly excellent Columbian food.
If you ever want to try the real Colombian cuisine, this is a great place to do it, high recommended
Very nice people, good food, nice service
Not what I expected, but the empanadas were good. The music was great. I recommend you guys get more fresh meat for the picadas!
Skip it. The juices were delicious and the empanadas ok. The rest of the food was not good, pricey and it took so long to get the food that you better dont go there if you are very hungry because youll end up eating the napkins.
Muy saboroso.. the food is delicious. Try the fresh juices
As former employee, personal friend and loyal customer for over 13 years I can give a review based on many experiences and not only a one time visit. Olmedo, the owner, its one of those persons who lives for his business, his customers and employees. Over the years Ive had great experiences and a few not that good but always have had many reasons to come back either to have a great meal or an unforgettable dancing night. Food is really good with that taste and Colombian sazon we all long for. Their chorizo can only be matched back in Colombia, sooooo good. Most dishes are really good with some room for improvement on others, lunch specials are well priced with good portions. Saturdays dancing are great, phenomenal music Colombian style and last all night long, get ready for some serious rumba. Go and try for your self this great place, a little piece of our loved country in Vegas.
Pretty good food, the chicharron was kinda overcooked and the waitress was pretty nice
Great place to let loose and have fun and salsa
Exelent food, very good service, empanadas are from heaven, my favorite place on las vegas.
Too expensive for the amount of food and quality, on top of that the menu online says one thing and when i got to the restaurant to pay the guy tried to charge me more so i had to correct him, yo eh comido en mejores restaurantes colombianos mas buenos y mas baratos
Owner is very grumpy and over charges for a Pina Colada-$9 (non alcoholic) which ended up being pineapple juice, as if we were at a luxurious setting? Im sure I will not see this business in the next 5 years. Bad customer service, mens bathroom was unavailable due to dirtiness, and cluttered seating. Let me just leave with this, if you are going to spend more than $50+ for a date for two people; just go to Applebees and have a better time for your money.
We visit Las Vegas and found one of the best Colombian restaurant that are in US, service, food, prices variability was excellent. Thank you
Great food!! I love the service. Im treated like family. My family enjoys the empanadas with there house made salsa. The arepas weve tried them all.. Tell them what you like and they make what we are in the mood for. Some savory and others sweet. Ask about the special. Please support this local eatery. Youll be grateful that you did. Enjoy the day! Be thankful and keep trying new dishes.Chef MJ H LVHC
We had an excellent experience at Oiga Mire Vea, the staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was delicious, big selection of traditional dishes, the empanadas and almohabanas were awesome. Thank you OMV staff for making our Vegas visit awesome!!!

Food is great, pleasant staff!
Great place, friendly staff, good food.
The empanadas were delicious and steak and rice and beans the chicken Milanese was a little dry I wish they would of put some sauce on top of it other than that customer services was exellent
Best small hole in the wall in vegas
Great food and friendly staff
Food was good and staff was very friendly
Great place to eat family friendly and great Colombian food.
La Picada was very good!! Service was good, the prices of the plates are affordable, Latin music playing and its a great atmosphere.
Great food. Highly recommend it! Be warned that its a hole in the wall type of place but the food is good
Great food, the ladies were nice, price was good
Empanadas are deliciousGreat service and unique placeMusic is good
Can’t go wrong. Definitely recommend this place.
So delicious! Have to stop for milenesa de pollo each trip to Vegas. Fabulous homemade empanadas and banuelos.
Love it
I would of enjoyed the food here but one particular waitress was extremely rude when it came time to pay. She was upset we didn’t buy any food just beverages so when we were trying to pay she would ignore us in line And whoever arrived after us she would immediately greet and check out. At first I allowed the first person to pass thinking no biggy she’s elderly let her pass. But then another customer showed up and the waitress began acknowledging them never once apologizing for making us wait a long long while to even check us out as we stood waiting for our turn patiently. Personally I couldn’t figure out why she had become so indifferent with us but I chose ask what was going on. She not only said nothing to me when I addressed the bad customer service she’s was unfairly providing us but she proceeded to smile and think her self so funny for purposely making us wait last when we had been first a while in waiting. I realized then her whole ignoring us was to inconvenience us because we didn’t by food and it left me feeling uncomfortable but over all just upset at such a poor poor character of a person. It’s people like her who ruin a nice business. I feel so sorry for those working around or under her. She felt so mean spirited over absolutely nothing. It was so ignorant. The First Lady who sat and greeted us was such a sweet heart. I felt so welcomed so exiceted to try colombian food for the first time. That elderly lady made us feel excited to eat there. Props to her beautiful personality. But back to our other waitress she just bombed the whole experience. I will make sure no one ever comes here if i can help it because I don’t want them to feel the same humiliation I felt. No one deserves that type of fist impression.
One of the best in town to do Colombian food just great love the cook.
Such amazing true Colombian food! Both my mom and I are Colombian and we both loved it. All the food was amazing. The server was so nice!Saturday late night it turns into a club!
Love the empanadas..great place, service is good and more when the owner is around..
Great food. The karaoke is in Spanish and the only downside is that a bunch of old people come in and put a zillion songs to sing so youre lucky if you sing 2 songs.
It dont represent the Colombian food at all unpleasantly dirty and messy place . the dishes are plastic. Really poor quality food and expensive. No recommendations.
Delicious Colombian food and great customer service
LOVE THE FOOD ITS BETTER THAN IN COLOMBIA
Amaizing make me feel I am in Colombia and yes is not a fast food is a Colombia restaurant is lay back and amaizing flavors
This is a Las Vegas Gem I highly suggest it
I used to go to this place a lot but I stopped coming because the service is extremely slow, it takes around 20 to 30 minutes to get your food and since the wait is so long the lady in the cashier tries to make conversation but each time I get a headache because shes just obnoxious and very loud, since I am hungry, I dont want to listen to your personal problems and a half hour of nonsense. To find a solution I started making orders on the phone and the same lady would repeat the order maybe 10 to 15 times over and over and when I would get to the restaurant to pick it up she had somehow gotten it wrong. I am never coming back because of her!
Not what I expected, the place needs more cleaning, empanadas weren’t that tasty, service needs to improve.
Your cashier couldnt speak English properly.
Very good food, the prices are good and the owner is super cool
The preparation of the Paisa tray is good, but the pork rinds leave it too toasty. It can not be so toasted and, as for the Ajiaco, add a lot of seasoning and serve it very dry without sufficient broth the traditional ajiaco, Colombian is not so flavored is the only thing that I think is bad of the two dishes that I like the Colombian cuisine and Respec to the attention. Its very regular. Waitresses are a bit unpleasants.
Good Spot. Really appreciate the quality of Food Thanks again!
Fantastic place
Good food great service!!
The bandeja paisa is amazing!!
Great atmosphere and service with OK food.
I may go here as often as once a week! This place is awesome, staff is always great and friendly, food is always delicious and hot!
I eat here 2 or 3 times per week and the food is always delicious. I recommend the empanadas. the arepas are great too. the beans taste great And when they have lentils as the special I always get that
Great food. Empanadas, pinchos, bandeja paisa all on point. Jugo de guayaba was just right. Great value for the prices. Lots of food.
Nothing like the Colombian food from Queens New York if any of you guys are ever in NYC go to para ti colombia con sabor thats a real montañera
Authentic Colombian food and mecato like frunas, chocolatinas, bom bom bums, bocadillos, chocolate, panela, freskavena, etc. They have karaoke on friday Nights and Latin dancing on Saturday nights free cover.
Fantastic food. Bandeja paisa was best I have ever had.
Great food and nice atmosphere
Love their bread ️
Service was very friendly. I order empanadas they were so good especial the veggi ones. The best Ive had in Las Vegas so far price is good too. Thank you
I love go with my family there, my wife is Mexican and she love eats empanadas, cachapas and most of the time we order picada mixta it is really good it has carne asada, chicharrones, chorizo, papa, arepa AND yuca it is for 4 people, we love the maracuyá jugó AND guanábana .
Quaint, intimate, and ideally American via Colombias nicest! Prices are fair, food is provocative, and yes the service is classic.
Love Antonio Carnota, he is the entertainment on Thursday nights 7:00-11:00 p.m.
The best Colombian restaurant in all las vegas! The owner is so humble and friendly! But the food!!!! The food is out of this world!!! I feel like Im in Colombia eating home made food I will always come eat here and recommend it to everyone!
Fine upscale dining for a discriminating clientele please DRESS APPROPRIATELY because dancing is right next door this is a place to impress out of town guests and clients!
This place is great, feels like your eating at someones home. The food is wonderful and the staff is awesome.
Great food for a fair price...reminds me of Colombia and I really appreciate that they have Colombian souvenirs. The owner and hosts were very friendly.
After expending a few days in Phoenix, I arrived to Las Vegas craving for some Colombian cuisine. A Google search and its reviews pointed me towards Oiga, Mire, Vea restaurant. Coming from NY and being used to the fine Colombian cuisine of Queens makes me a bit demanding when it comes to Colombian food. I must say it, Oiga, Mire, Vea lived up to my expectations. Its food was excellent and its prices were affordable, up to the point that I came back next morning for breakfast and the day after for dinner. One of my favorites was la bandeja paisa the chicharron and chorizo was simply delicious and those beans tasted as homemade as they can ever tasted.Lets not just concentrate on the food, which I have already said that it was excellent. Its management and staff was friendly and willing to go to the extremes in order to make me, my wife and the rest of customers happy. Kudos to them, it was wonderful to have such a nice attention. If you happen to be in Las Vegas area and are looking for something good to eat, go to this place I guarantee you will have a nice experience as well.
It took over a half hour to get 2 empanadas and the sauce it came with was too salty! IThey had many employees but they still need to improve on customer service.
